1.Clinical study on dinoprostone suppositories 0.8 mm used in cervical ripening and labor induction of women with term pregnancy of premature rupture of the membranes:a multicenter study

Objective To investigate safety and efficacy of dinoprostone suppositories(0.8 mm) used in cervical ripening and labor induction in women with term premature rupture of the membranes.Methods One hundred women of term monocyesis with premature rupture of the membranes,head presentation,bishop score less than 6(test group)and 180 women with intact fetal membranes(control group)were enrolled into this multicenter,prospective clinical study.The vaginal delivery system was inserted into the posterior foruix,and the patients were recumbent for 2 hours after insertion.The interval time from using dinoprostone suppositories to uterine contraction,to labor and delivery were recorded.The following index were also recorded and compared,including the mean inserted time of dinoprostone suppositories,fetal heart beat,meconium stained amniotic fluid,hyperstimulation of uterus and the other complications,mode of delivery,stage of labor,postpartum hemorrhage,status of neonates.Results Three cases intest group and 23 casesin control group weren't in labor within 24 hours.The rate of labor within 24 hours in test group was significant higher than that in control group(97.0% vs.87.2%,P<0.01).It was observed that 73 cases undergoing vaginal deliveries(75.3%,73/97)and 24 cases undergoing cesarean section dehveries(24.7%,24/97)in test group and 107 cases undergoing vaginal delivery(68.2%,107/157)and 50 cases undergoing cesarean section delivery(31.8%,50/157)in control group,when compared the rate of vaginal or cesarean section deliveries between two group,it didn't reach statistical difference (P >0. 05). It had no significant difference in the interval time from using dinoprostone suppositories to labor starting and the mean inserted time and the total labor time between two groups ( P > 0.05 ). The incidence of uterine tachysystole was 11.3% (11/97) in test group and 19. 1% (30/157) in control group (P>0. 05), which did not reach statistical difference (P>0. 05). There wasn't neonatal asphyxia in both groups. Conclusion It was safe and efficient to use dinoprostone suppositories for cervical ripening and induction of term pregnancy with premature rupture of the membranes, however, monitoring should be intensified.
2.Expression of PKC θ and Th1/Th2,Tc1/Tc2 cells cytokines of patients with myelodysplastic syndromes and aplastic anemia

Objective To analyse expression levels of protein kinase C θ (PKC θ ) and its association with Th1/Th2,Tc1/Tc2 cytokines in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) of patients with myelodysplastic syndromes and aplastic anemia (AA),and understand the pathogenesis of MDS and AA.Methods Fourteen patients with MDS-RA, fifteen patients with AA, and thirty health controls of PBMC were collected.mRNA expression levels of PKC θ were measured by RTQ-PCR,and the expression levels of Th1/Th2,Tc1/Tc2 cytokines were measured by the flow cytometry. Results The expression PKC θ mRNA (AA group:23.54±1.01,MDS group:23.76±1.58 ;health control group:27.12±1.12, P=0.004) and Th1and Tc1cytokines were statistically significant of among groups (all P<0.05). Th2 and Tc2 cytokines were no statistical difference among groups (allP>0.05). There were no statistical difference in the PBMC of PKC θ mRNA and Th1/Th2,Tc1/Tc2 cell cytokine (allP>0.05) between MDS and AA.Conclusions The expression levels of PKCθmRNA and Th1,Tc1cells correlated cytokine in MDS and AA patients of PBMC are increases.
3.Imaging features of solitary bone plasmacytoma

Objective:To investigate the imaging features of solitary bone plasmacytoma (SBP) and to improve the diagnosis of SBP.Methods:The imaging and clinical data of 8 cases clinically diagnosed as SBP at different sites from September 2012 to September 2020 in Yuanping First People's Hospital of Shanxi Province were retrospectively analyzed. Imaging examinations included CT, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) plain scan and enhanced MRI scan.Results:The lesion sites of 8 patients included 3 cases of thoracic vertebrae, 2 cases of lumbar vertebrae, 2 cases of skull, and 1 case of rib. Among them, 1 case was misdiagnosed as thoracic metastatic tumor, 1 case as thoracic tuberculosis, 1 case as lumbar lymphoma and 1 case as cranial meningioma. Osteolytic destruction of bone was found in all cases accompanied by expansible changes of bone and soft tissue masses. There were 5 cases of vertebral bodies compressed and flattened; CT showed equal/low density, T1WI showed equal/low signal, T2WI showed low/slightly high signal, and 2 cases showed typical "mini brain sign". There were 2 cases of skull with slight hyperintensity on CT, isointensity on T1WI, and equal/mixed hyperintensity on T2WI. The rib cases showed isodensity on CT, T1WI showed isointensity, T2WI showed slightly high intensity. The lesions of 4 SBP patients showed obvious uniform enhancement on MRI enhanced scan.Conclusions:SBP at different sites can show osteolytic destruction with uniform enhancement of lesions and soft tissue masses. "Mini brain sign" is the SBP-specific imaging sign of the spine.
