To develop a medication reminder based on Android platform, which can be used to set up personalized reminders quickly and record the patient' s medication time-stamp and related information. In addition, the effect of using the reminder on medication compliance was studied. 14 subjects participated in the evaluation of medica-tion compliance. The differences of dosage and medication rate between the group using and without using reminder were investigated. The dosage and medication rate were got by the pill counting. The Wilcoxon matched -pairs signed rank test showed that the dosage and the medication rate of the group using reminder were higher than that without using reminder significantly(Z= -2. 93, P =0. 003 ). The results demonstrated that the use of the re-minder can improve the medication dose and rate significantly,indicate that the reminder might be a new technical support for clinical research on medication compliance, and also might reduce the workload for medical staff and patients.

Objective To study the prognostic factors of operative patients with colorectal cancer.Methods Four hundreds and ninety-four patients with colorectal cancer treated from January 2003 to December 2009 in Shanxi Cancer Hospital were involved in this study.The demographic data,clinical and pathological features,serum levels of tumor markers were analyzed retrospectively.The prognostic factors were analyzed by univariate Kaplan-Meier survival analysis and multivariate Cox proportional hazards models.Results The 1-,2-,3-,4-,5-year survival rates of 494 patients were 92.31％,69.43 ％,50.00 ％,31.17 ％ and 12.96 ％ respectively.Non-Cox proportional hazards model with time-according to coefficient of multivariate analysis showed that Duke stage,tumor metastasis,pathological diagnosis and serum carcinocmbryonic antigen (CEA) levels were the prognostic factors of colorectal cancer.Conclusion The Duke stage,tumor metastasis,pathological diagnosis and CEA levels are the prognostic factors of colorectal cancer,which should be considered in the choice of clinical treatment and prognosis judgement.

ObjectiveTo explore the effects of comprehensive rehabilitation on life quality of patients with stroke in recovery phase.Methods83 patients with stroke in recovery phase (over 3 months) accepted comprehensive rehabilitation. Their extremity motor function and activity of daily living (ADL) were compared before and after rehabilitation.ResultsThere were statistically significant difference on Brunnstrom scores and ADL scores before and after rehabilitation(P<0.01).ConclusionComprehensive rehabilitation can improve motor function and quality of life in post-stroke patients.

Objective To investigate the role of epidermal growth factor receptor 3 (ErbB3) and insulin-like growth factor-1 receptor (IGF1R) in enhancing the resistance of Herceptin in human breast cancer.Methods HRG (Heregulin,the ligand of ErbB3) or IGF2 (insulin-like growth factor2,the ligand of IGF1R) was correspondingly added into breast cancer cells SKBR3 and BT474,and then 3-(4,5-dimenthylthiazol-2-yl)-5-(3-carboxymethoxyphenyl)-2-(4-sulfophenyl)-2H-tetrazolium (MTS) assay and were performed in these cells to evaluate the sensitivity of these cells to Herceptin.Furthermore,we used HRG or IGF2 antibodies to inhibit their joint receptors in Herceptin-resistant breast cancer cells SKBR3/POOL2 and BT474/HR20.Finally,the sensitivity of these treated cells to Herceptin was detected via MTS assay.HRG or IGF2 was added into breast cancer cell BT474,and co-IP assay was used to detect the expressions of ErbB3 and IGF1R which combined with ErbB2.Results The treatment groups used HRG or IGF2 enhanced the resistance of Herceptin in Herceptin-sensitive breast cancer cells.On the other hand,we used antibodies of HRG and IGF2 to block their combining with their receptors in Herceptin-resistant breast cancer cells,the cells became more sensitive to Herceptin.BT474 cell was treated with HRG or IGF2.The expressions of ErbB3 and IGF1R which combined with ErbB2 were increased.Conclusions The formation of heterodimers ErbB2/ErbB3 and ErbB2/IGF1R might enhance the resistance of Herceptin in ErbB2-overexpression human breast cancers.

Objective To investigate the protective effect of the combined application of carlbachol and compound dietary fiber on the intestinal barrier function in burn rats.Methods The 30％ total body surface area (TBSA) Ⅲ scald Wistar rats were randomly divided into four groups.Rats in group A were fed with physiological saline,in group B were fed with compound dietary fiber,in group C were fed with carlbachol and in group D were fed with carlbachol and compound dietary fiber.The rats were sacrificed at 6,12 and 24 hours after treatment,and selected normal rats for control group.Blood samples were taken for detecting plasma endotoxin,D-lactic acid,D-lactic acid content.Tissue samples were harvested from the small intestine for pathological study under light microscopy.Results (1) The damage of the structure of small intestine mucosa was different among 4 groups,and the most obvious was at 24 h after treatment.(2)The level plasma of endotoxin in Group D was (0.517±0.034) EU/L,significant lower than that in group A ((0.659±0.074) EU/L),Group B ((0.589 ±0.027) EU/L) and Group C((0.587±0.026) EU/L),and the difference was significant(P＜0.05).(3) Dlactic acid level in Group D was (102.996±10.102) μg/L,significant lower than that in group A((133.538 ±8.621) μg/L),Group B ((121.223± 10.519) μg/L) and Group C ((122.700± 11.146) μg/L),and the difference was significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion In early stage of burn shock,the therapy of combined with carlbachol and compound dietary fiber has obvious protective effect on rat intestinal barrier.Meanwhile,it is better than the treatment effect of single carlbachol or compound dietary fiber to some extent.

Objective To evaluate the prevalence and impact of coronary artery disease (CAD) in aged patients with Stanford type B aortic dissection(AD).Methods From January 2008 to December 2011,CAG was routinely performed before aortography and thoracic aortic repair(TEVAR) to determine the prevalence of concomitant CAD in 200 consecutive Stanford type B AD patients who were older than 50 years.All patients received 1 year follow-up.Adverse events were compared between patients with and without concomitant CAD.Data analysis by SPSS 17.0 statistical software,using Student t test,Chi-square test and Fisher exact test.Results CAG showed 53 patients (26.5％) had CAD.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that male gender(OR =4.415,95％ CI:1.131-17.237,P =0.033) and age (OR =1.061,95％ CI:1.017-1.108,P =0.006) were independent predictors of Stanford type BAD coexisted with CAD.Age was also independent predictor of multi-vessel disease(MVD) and/or left main disease(LMD) (OR =1.096,95％ CI:1.009-1.191,P =0.023).At 30-day follow-up,there was no difference in the incidence of adverse events between patients with and without concomitant CAD.Patients with concomitant CAD showed higher incidence of myocardial infarction[3 (5.66％) vs.0(0),P =0.018] and stroke [4 (7.55 ％) vs.1 (0.68 ％),P =0.018].Conclusion The prevalence of CAD in aged patients with Stanford type BAD is relatively high.Concomitant CAD is associated with higher risk of cardio-cerebrovascular ischemic events while dose not increase the risk of adverse aorta related events.

Objective To investigate the application value of pancreaticojejunostomy with double-layer continuous suture in total laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy (TLPD).Methods The retrospective crosssectional study was conducted.The clinicopathological data of 21 patients who underwent TLPD with pancreaticojejunostomy using double-layer continuous suture in the Second Hospital of Jilin University between January and December 2017 were collected.The anastomosis used Child method,and pancreaticojejunostomy,choledochojejunostomy and gastroenteric anastomosis in turn were done.Observation indicators:(1) surgical and postoperative recovery;(2) postoperative pathological examination;(3) follow-up and survival situations.Follow-up using outpatient examination and telephone interview was performed to detect postoperative survival and tumor recurrence or metastasis up to February 2018.Measurement data with normal distribution were represented as x±s.Measurement data with skewed distribution were described as M (P25,P75).Results (1) Surgical and postoperative recovery:21 patients underwent successful TLPD with pancreaticojejunostomy with double-layer continuous suture.The operation time,time of pancreaticojejunostomy and volume of intraoperative blood loss were respectively (352±25)minutes,(46±8)minutes and (168±34) mL.There was no intraoperative blood transfusion.The time of postoperative abdominal drainage-tube removal was (10.1±4.4)days.Of 21 patients,12 were complicated with biochemical fistula,and 3 with grading B of pancreatic fistula (pancreatic duct in type Ⅱ),and they were improved by inhibiting pancreatic secretion and drainage patency.There was no occurrence of biliary fistula,chylous fistula,postoperative bleeding,abdominal infection and delayed gastric emptying.The duration of postoperative hospital stay of 21 patients was (11.3± 2.0) days.(2) Postoperative pathological examination:surgical margins of 21 patients were negative.The pathological type:8,6,4,2 and 1 patients were diagnosed as distal bile duct cancer,ampulla cancer,duodenal papilla and duodenal cancer,pancreatic head cancer and neuroendocrine cancer of ampulla,respectively.(3) Follow-up and survival situations:21 patients were followed up for 3-12 months,with a median time of 7 months.During the follow-up,all the patients survived,and there was no tumor recurrence and metastasis.Conclusion Pancreaticojejunostomy with double-layer continuous suture is safe and feasible for TLPD,with advantages of exact anastomosis effect and good application value.

Ocular choristoma is composed of ectopic tissues with normal structures. The pathogenesis still remains uncertain. Histopathologically, it is a dense connective tissue mixed with epidermal appendages, smooth muscle cells, mature adipose tissue, lacrimal glands, lymph nodes, skeletal muscle fibers, cartilage and bone. Because of its low incidence, most of published literature are case reports. The clinical manifestations are non-specific and we need to distinguish it from other ocular masses. The choice of surgical resection depends on the ocular symptoms, the effect on appearance, and the need for clinical confirmation. This paper reviews the epidemiology, etiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, differential diagnosis and treatment of ocular choristoma.

BACKGROUND:With computer-aided design,melt electrowriting technology can precisely construct 3D tissue engineering scaffolds with specific morphology,which has attracted increasing attention in tissue engineering. OBJECTIVE:To elaborate on the progress of melt electrowriting technology in tissue engineering in recent years. METHODS:PubMed and CNKI were used to retrieve articles about applications of melt electrowriting technology in tissue engineering.The search time was from March 2008 to February 2023.The search terms were"melt electrowriting,melt electrospinning,electrospinning,tissue engineering,scaffold,regeneration"in English and"melt electrowriting,electrospinning,tissue engineering"in Chinese.A preliminary screening of articles was performed by reading the titles and abstracts.Finally,69 articles were included for review. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)Melt electrowriting technology can achieve precise layer-by-layer deposition of fibers compared to traditional electrospinning technology,which better simulates the complex structure of natural tissues.Compared to other 3D printing technologies,smaller-diameter fibers can be prepared by melt electrowriting technology,resulting in highly ordered porous structures.(2)By combining with other scaffold preparation techniques or materials,such as fused deposition modeling,solution electrospinning technology,and hydrogel,melt electrowriting technology shows great potential in preparing complex tissue engineering scaffolds,which provides certain possibilities for achieving complex tissue regeneration.(3)The regeneration of complex tissues often involves blood vessels,nerves,and soft and hard tissues at the same time.The regeneration of blood vessels and nerves is of great significance to realize the physiological reconstruction of tissues.However,soft and hard tissues have certain difficulties to realize the coordinated regeneration of both due to their different biological and mechanical properties.Melt electrowriting technology has certain advantages in the field of bionic scaffolds due to its good biocompatibility,the ability to prepare multi-scale scaffolds and high porosity.

Objective To investigate the effect of humidex combined with mean temperature and relative humidity on the incidence of bacillary dysentery in Hefei. Methods Daily counts of bacillary dysentery cases and weather data in Hefei were collected from January 1, 2006 to December 31, 2013. Then, the humidex was calculated from temperature and relative humidity. A Poisson generalized linear regression combined with distributed lag non-linear model was applied to analyze the relationship between humidex and the incidence of bacillary dysentery, after adjusting for long-term and seasonal trends, day of week and other weather confounders. Stratified analyses by gender, age and address were also conducted. Results The risk of bacillary dysentery increased with the rise of humidex. The adverse effect of high humidex (90 percentile of humidex) appeared in 2- days lag and it was the largest at 4-days lag (RR=1.063, 95%CI:1.037-1.090). Subgroup analyses indicated that all groups were affected by high humidex at lag 2-5 days. Conclusion High humidex could significantly increase the risk of bacillary dysentery, and the lagged effects were observed.
