Objective:To assess the prevalence of HIV primary drug resistance and drug resistance gene mutations among men who have sex with men (MSM).Methods:We searched eight electronic databases (CNKI,VIP,CBM,Wanfang Database,PubMed,Web of Knowledge,Springer,Medline) for the studies of HIV drug resistance relevant to MSM.Drug resistance and drug resistance mutations data were pooled and analyzed according to statistical test of homogeneity.Subgroups were further divided according to sample size, location, race, quality rating score, sampling time.Results:Forty-three studies were included in this Meta-analysis.The pooled rate of total to protease inhibitor (PI),nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor(NRTI) or non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI) were 10.21% (95% CI 8.65% to12.03%),2.98% (95% CI 2.25% to 3.93%),4.05% (95% CI 3.14% to 5.21%),4.42% (95% CI 3.31% to 5.88%),respectively.The pooled rates of PI major mutation,PI secondary mutations,NRTI mutations and NNRTI mutations were 0.55% (95% CI 0.38% to 0.80%),1.31% (95% CI 0.98% to 1.75%),0.85% (95% CI 0.51% to 1.40%),1.19% (95% CI 0.70% to 2.01%),0.79% (95% CI 0.55% to 1.13%),1.73% (95% CI 1.21% to 2.46%),0.86% (95% CI 0.61% to 1.21%),2.24% (95% CI 1.77% to 2.83%),respectively.Sample size, region, and race were heterogeneous sources;the rate of resistance mutations and gene mutation rate were different in different subgroups. Conclusion:The prevalence of primary drug resistance among MSM was high in Americas and Europe, and it was gradually increased in Asia.We should pay attention to the high incidence of PI secondary mutations.

Objective To evaluate the serum organochlorine pesticides residues levels in breast cancer pa-tients with different estrogen receptor(ER). Methods 93 patients of breast cancer from Fengnan districtand 65 pa-tients from Tanghai county in Tangshan were selected, whose ER were detected by pathology and serum organochlo-fine pesticides (DDTs and HCHs) levels were detected and compared with gas chromatography/electron capture. Results The orders of detection rate of HCH isomer in breast cancer patients in two areas were β-HCH >δ-HCH > α-HCH >γ-HCH. The orders of detection rate of DDT isomer in breast cancer patients in two areas were PP'-DDE > PP'-DDT > OP'-DDT > PP'-DDD. The serum levels of β-HCH, PP'-DDE in breast cancer patients in two are-as were positively correlated with age (r=0.272 ,0.330 , P<0.01) or BMI (r=0.312,0.187, P <0.01, <0.05). There were statistical differences in the serum β-HCH,δ-HCH,PP'-DDE levels between the estrogen receptor posi-tive breast cancer patients and the estrogen receptor negative breast cancer patients in two areas (P<0.05 for each). Conclusion The serum organochlorine pesticides residues levels in breast cancer patients with positive es-trogen receptor are higher than that with negative estrogen receptor, implicating that breast cancer is dependent on es-trogen. The cause of breast cancer is likely due to estrogen-like effect of serum organochlorine pesticides residues.

Objective To explore the therapeutic efficacy and operation experience of Prolene Hernia System (PHS) in the tension-free repair operation of inguinal saddle hernia. Methods All 41 cases using PHS were selected as the subjects of this study and the results were analyzed. Results All patients were performed operation under the local anesthesia, and lasted from 25 min to 60 min. They had been keeping in ward for observation from 24 h to 72 h. No serotal swelling, hematoma, and incisional wound infection hap-pened after the operation. The follow-up time had been lasting from 6 months to 42 months, and none of pa-tients catehed a relapse or had the sensation of the foreign bodies. Conclusions Using PHS is safe and ef-fective in the tension-free repair operation, and it is more suited to inguinal saddle hernia. The key of opera-tion success is attaching importance to operation skills.

Objective To investigate whether cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2)expression are related to the clinicopathological features, and to microvessel density(MVD).Methods COX-2 expressions were detected in 45colorectal carcinoma samples by immunostaining.MVD was evaluated with the specific antibody CD105.Quantitationof COX-2 mRNA was performed by RT-PCR in 45 specimens of colorectal carcinoma. Results The expressions of COX-2 mRNA and protein were significant variation among lymphatic metastasis, high Dukes stages and grade of differation(P<0.05);Increased value of MVD were significant variation among lymphatic metastasis, high Dukes stage and depth of tumor invasion(P<0.05).Both the overexpression of COX-2 protein and mRNA was positively correlated with the value of MVD(P<0.05).Conclusion COX-2 plays an important role in the development of colorectal carcinoma.COX-2 may up-regulate the value of MVD,which induces angiogenesis and accordingly contributes to metastasis.

Sexual orientation is influenced by both environmental factors and biological factors. Family and twin studies have shown that genetic factors play an important role in the formation of male homosexuality. Genome-wide scan also revealed candidate chromosomal regions which may be associated with male homosexuality, but so far no clearly related genes have been found. This article reviews the progress of relevant studies and candidate genes which are related to male homosexuality.

AIM: To investigate the pharmacokinetic properties of the main active components of Dalitong extract in SD rats after oral administration using UPLC-MS / MS. METHODS: An UPLC-MS / MS method was established to simultaneously detect tetrahydropalmatine, nobiletin and costunolide in the plasma and tissues of SD rats. The method was applied to investigate the pharmacokinetic characteristics and tissue distribution. RESULTS: After a single oral administration, the three active components were rapidly absorbed into the body, with a peak concentration (Cmax) of (13.73 ± 7.50), (27.01 ± 17.69) and (6.73 ± 29.94) ng / mL for tetrahydropalmatine, nobiletin, and costunolide, respectively. The time to reach the peak concentration (Tmax) was (1.40 ± 0.93), (0.63 ± 0.28) and (2.38 ± 8.81) h, respectively. The area under the curve (AUC) was (80.43±40.03), (41.30±28.69) and (303.90 ± 136.69) ng · h · mL
