Objective:To investigate the efficacy of levodopa and benserazide hydrochloride combined with pramipexole in the treatment of Parkinson's disease in 30 patients and their effects on neurotransmitters and oxidative stress response. Methods:A total of 90 patients with Parkinson's disease admitted to Jinhua People's Hospital from January 2020 to February 2022 were included in this study. They were randomly assigned to undergo treatment with levodopa and benserazide hydrochloride (levodopa and benserazide hydrochloride group), pramipexole (pramipexole group), or their combination (combined therapy group), with 30 patients in each group. All patients were treated for 12 consecutive weeks. Clinical efficacy, levels of brain neurotransmitters (dopamine, 5-hydroxytryptamine, norepinephrine, and substance P), and oxidative stress response (superoxide dismutase, malondialdehyde, homocysteine levels) were compared among the three groups. Results:Total response rate in the combined therapy group was 96.67% (29/30), which was significantly higher than 66.67% (20/30) in the levodopa and benserazide hydrochloride group and 76.67% (23/30) in the pramipexole group ( χ2 = 8.65, P < 0.05). After treatment, dopamine, 5-hydroxytryptamine, norepinephrine, substance P, superoxide dismutase, malondialdehyde, and homocysteine levels in the combined therapy group were (9.05 ± 1.24) ng/mg, (89.49 ± 10.69) μg/L, (15.16 ± 1.36) ng/mg, (102.8 ± 15.36) μg/L, (88.40 ± 10.04) kU/L, (5.5 ± 2.31) μmol/L, and (9.20 ± 3.36) μmol/L, respectively, which were superior to (6.61 ± 1.02) ng/mg, (68.52 ± 9.52) μg/L, (12.33 ± 1.24) ng/mg, (151.64 ± 16.03) μg/L, (74.99 ± 7.28) kU/L, (9.27 ± 3.07) μmol/L, and (13.52 ± 3.64) μmol/L in the levodopa and benserazide hydrochloride group and (7.22 ± 1.09) ng/mg, (79.52 ± 10.20) μg/L, (13.92 ± 1.31) ng/mg, (131.30 ± 15.65) μg/L, (80.59 ± 8.24) kU/L, (7.53 ± 2.93) μmol/L, (11.35 ± 3.71) μmol/L in the pramipexole group ( F = 38.53, 32.05, 35.49, -73.42, 18.42, -22.65, -12.13, all P < 0.05). Conclusion:Levodopa and benserazide hydrochloride combined with pramipexole are highly effective on Parkinson's disease. The combined therapy can effectively improve brain neurotransmitters and regulate oxidative stress response.

The study is to explore the diagnostic value of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for endometrial carcinoma. Clinical data of 199 patients with endometrial cancer confirmed by diagnostic uterine curettage in the Second Hospital of Jilin University and the People′s Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region from June 2017 to December 2019 were reviewed retrospectively. The data were analyzed by SPSS 21.0 software. MRI scan was performed before operation, the diagnostic accuracy of MRI for the preoperative staging of endometrial carcinoma was 85.9%(171/199) with postoperative pathological results as gold standard. The Kappa values of muscular infiltration, cervical infiltration and lymph node metastasis were 0.353, 0.574 and 0.573, respectively ( P<0.05). The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value and accuracy for myometrial invasion on MRI were 45.2%(19/42), 88.5%(139/157), 51.4%(19/37), 85.8%(139/162) and 79.4%(158/199), respectively. The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value and accuracy for cervical invasion on MRI were 58.3% (14/24), 96.0%(168/175), 66.7% (14/21), 94.4%(168/178)and 91.5%(182/199), respectively. The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value and accuracy for lymph node metastasis on MRI were 12/18, 95.6%(173/181), 60.0%(12/20), 96.6%(173/179)and 93.0%(185/199), respectively. The results indicate that MRI has high accuracy and negative predictive rate in evaluation of preoperative staging of endometrial cancer.

This study analyzed the inherent relation between arterial blood mass flow and muscle atrophy of residual limb to provide some necessary information and theoretical support for the clinical rehabilitation of lower limb amputees. Three-dimensional arterial model reconstruction was performed on both intact side and residual limb of a unilateral transfemoral amputee who is the subject. Then hemodynamic calculation was carried out to comparatively analyze the mass flow state at each arterial outlet of both lower extremities. The muscle atrophy ratio of residual limb was calculated by measuring the cross-sectional area of bilateral muscles. Based on the blood supply relationship, the correlation between arterial blood flow reduction ratio and muscle atrophy ratio was discussed. The results showed that the mass flow of superficial femoral arteries and lateral circumflex femoral arteries severely reduced. Meanwhile rectus femoris, vastus lateralis and vastus medialis which were fed by these arteries showed great atrophy too. On the contrary, the mass flow of deep femoral arteries and medial femoral circumflex arteries slightly reduced. Meanwhile gracilis, adductor longus, long head of biceps which were fed by these arteries showed mild atrophy too. These results indicated that there might be a positive and promotion correlation between the muscle atrophy ratio and the blood mass flow reduction ratio of residual limb during rehabilitation.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the epidemiological characteristics of human infections with avian influenza A (H7N9) in China and to provide scientific evidence for the adjustment of preventive strategy and control measures.
METHODSDemographic and epidemiologic information on human cases were collected from both reported data of field epidemiological investigation and the reporting system for infectious diseases.
RESULTSA total of 433 cases including 163 deaths were reported in mainland China before June 4, 2014. Two obvious epidemic peaks were noticed, in March to April, 2013 and January to February, 2014. Confirmed cases emerged in 14 areas of China. Five provinces, including Zhejiang, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shanghai, and Hunan, reported about 85% of the total cases. Median age of the confirmed cases was 58 years (range, 1-91), with 70% as males. Of the 418 cases with available data, 87% had ever exposed to live poultry or contaminated environments. 14 clusters were identified but human to human transmission could not be ruled out in 9 clusters.
CONCLUSIONHuman infections with avian influenza A (H7N9) virus showed the characteristics of obvious seasonal distribution, with certain regional clusters. The majority of confirmed cases were among the elderly, with more males seen than the females. Data showed that main source of infection was live poultry and the live poultry market had played a significant role in the transmission of the virus.
