BACKGROUND:We tried to combine 8-bromo-7-methoxychrysin and sorafenib in order to offset the tolerance of hepatocelular cancer stem cels to sorafenib, thereby comprehensively improving the therapeutic efficacy on hepatocelular carcinoma. OBJECTIVE:To observe the effects of 8-bromo-7-methoxychrysin, sorafenib and their combination on apoptosis of liver cancer stem-like cels SMMC-7721, and to analyze their mechanisms. METHODS:SMMC-7721 cels were treated with 8-bromo-7-methoxychrysin, sorafenib alone and their combination for 24 hours. Then, flow cytometry was used to detect cel apoptosis and western blot assay was used to determine nuclear factor-κB protein expression. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Compared with 8-bromo-7-methoxychrysin group and sorafenib group, the apoptotic rates of SMMC-7721 cels were significantly enhanced after treatment with the combination of 8-bromo-7-methoxychrysin group and sorafenib (2.5, 5, 10, 50 μmol/L), and meanwhile, the protein expression of nuclear factor-κB was down-regulated significantly. These findings indicate that the combined therapy of 8-bromo-7-methoxychrysin group and sorafenib can enhance the apoptosis of SMMC-7721 cels, which may be associated with down-regulation of nuclear factor-κB protein.

Objective To observe the impact of the five-emotion restrictive therapy on coronary heart disease. Methods109 hospitalized patients with coronary heart disease were randomly divided into a experimental of 56 patients and a control group of 53 patients according to length of stay. The control group was treated with the conventional therapy; the experimental group was imposed five-emotion restrictive psychological intervention on the basis of conventional therapy. The investigation was done using self-rating anxiety scale(SAS) and self-rating depression scale(SDS) on 1 day after admission and ld before discharge respectively. SAS and SDS scores were surveyed. At the same time Holter monitoring and normal ECG test were compared. Results Compared with control group, the experimental group 1 d before discharge of the SAS and SDS scores were (41.9±7.4) and (38.6±8.4), and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.01) . The total effective rate of Holter monitoring and normal ECG was 64.15％ and 92.85％ in the control and experimental group, and the difference was significant (P＜0.01) . ConclusionThe pathological seven emotions have a certain affection on the incidence of coronary heart disease, treatment and prognosis of the course. Five-emotion restrictive psychological intervention can adjust timely psychological state of patients, eliminate negative emotions, and significantly help the incidence, treatment and prognosis of the disease.

ObjectiveTo discuss the application value of high frequency ultrasound (HFUS) characteristics, acoustic radiation force impulse (ARFI) imaging technology and contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) in the diagnosis of soft tissue hemangioma.MethodsTo retrospectively analyze the clinical data of 44 cases of soft tissue hemangioma that were treated in Capital Medical University Affiliate Beijing Chaoyang Hospital from August, 2013 to May, 2014, and to analyze the difference between the characteristics of HFUS, ARFI and CEUS in soft tissue hemangioma and normal surrounding tissue.ResultsHFUS shows the features of morphological diversity of sinus shape expansion tube structure, unclear boundary, irregular configuration, compressibility and partial strong echo in the phlebolith. Color Doppler ultrasound (CDFI), detects abundant interphase red-blue bloodstream signal slowly and consistently. The blood signal is strengthened after partial compression. CDFI shows more vein spectrum in the lesion. The discrepancy of comparison between VTQ and SWV value of soft tissue hemangioma and surrounding muscular tissue possesses statistical significance [(1.082±0.183) m/svs (1.414±0.331) m/s,P<0.01]. Ultrasound contrast can show the relationship between diseased region and surrounding tissue clearly, which is beneficial to the selection of operation method and prognosis.ConclusionThrough conventional two-dimensional ultrasound and high frequency CDFI, and further combining the acoustic pulse radiation ARFI technology and CEUS technology, the soft tissue hemangioma can’t only be more accurately diagnosed, but also provides more reliable diagnostic basis for clinic.

Objective To evaluate the cognitive function of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) stable patients with ExtendedScale for Dementia (ESD). Methods 37 patients with stable COPD (COPD group) and 40 healthy persons (control group) were enrolled.The COPD patients were divided into different groups as their PaO2. They were assessed with ESD and Mini Mental Status Examination(MMSE). Results The total score of ESD and the subtest scores of ESD in leaning, memory, calculation, constructive function were significantlylower in the COPD group than in the control group (P<0.001). The total score of MMSE and the subtest scores of MMSE in memory,attention and calculation, short- and long-term memory were significantly lower in the COPD group than in the control group (P<0.05). Thetotal score and the subtest scores in learning, memory, calculation of ESD were lower in patients with PaO2<60 mmHg than those withPaO2≥60 mmHg (P<0.05), same as the total score and the subtest scores in memory, attention and calculation, short- and long-term memoryof MMSE (P<0.05). Both ESD and MMSE correlated significantly with PaO2 (P<0.01). Conclusion ESD can be used as an evaluationtool for cognitive function in stable patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Objective To explore perioperative risk factors for postoperative pancreatic fistu?la. Methods Six hundred and forty?three cases patients who underwent radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer from January 2010 to June 2015 in the NO. 309 Hospital of Chinese People’ s Liberation Army were selected and divided into Postoperative Pancreatic Fistula( POPF) group with 53 cases and Non?Postoperative Pancreatic Fis?tula( NPOPF) group with 590 cases. Preoperative,intraoperative and postoperative data were analyzed by statisti?cal analysis of two groups. Results POPF rate was 8. 24%(53/643). There were no significanct differences in terms of gender,age,preoperation with disease,preoperative serum albumin,TNM stage,abdominal surgery,sur?gical procedure,lymph node dissection,digestive tract reconstruction,surgical approach,blood loss and length of time between the POPF group and NPOP group(P>0. 05). The level of BMI of POPF group was higher than that of NPOPF group,the difference was statistically significant((25. 63±2. 54) kg/m2 vs. (21. 11±2. 44) kg/m2,t=2. 245,P=0. 025). The number of lymph node dissection in POPF group was (32. 25±5. 82),in NPOPF group was (27. 06±6. 79),there was significant difference between the two groups(t=2. 093,P=0. 037). The operation time in POPF group was (242. 50±52. 30) min,in NPOPF group was (229. 51±59. 21) min,the difference was statistically significant between the two groups( t=2. 398,P=0. 017) . The serum CRP of 1 d in POPF group was (85. 72±12. 05) mg/L,in NPOPF group was (76. 41±12. 52) mg/L,and there was significant difference between the two groups( t=1. 979,P=0. 048) . The serum albumin of 2?4 d after operation in POPF group was (26. 0±5. 9) g/L,in NPOPF group was (32. 6±6. 8) g/L,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(t=-10. 185,P=0. 000). The drainage fluid amylase of 1 and 2 d after operation in POPF group was (2094+1444) U/L,in NPOPF group was (746+486) U/L,and there was significant difference be?tween the two groups( t=10. 400,P=0. 000) . Logistic regression analysis results showed that body mass index ( BMI) ,lymph node dissection number,time of operation,postoperative 1,2 d drainage fluid amylase and serum albumin of 2?4 d after operation were postoperative occurred pancreatic fistula risk factors( OR=1. 972,183. 6, 2. 004,0. 150,9. 809,P>0. 05). Conclusion BMI,number of dissected lymph node,duration of surgery,serum albumin of 2?4 d after operation and postoperative 1,2 d drainage fluid amylase have important clinical values for predicted POPF.

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect ofYiqi-Fumai injection andShenshao capsule in the treatment of angina pectoris and the influence on vascular endothelial cell function and serum MPO. Methods 90 cases of angina pectoris of coronary heart disease were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group. 50 cases in the treatment group were treated withYiqi-Fumai injection and Shenshao capsule; 40 cases in the control group were treated with Plavix and metoprolol; clinical symptoms were observed before and after treatment, the indexes of endothelial cell function and electrocardiogram blood serum nitric oxide (NO), endothelin (ET), NOS and serum MPO, SOD, GSH changes were compared.Results The content of nitric oxide (NO), 6-keto-PGFLa and NOS of the treatment group were increased than the control group, while ET was reduced. In the treatment group, NO was (78.09 ± 88.71)μmol/L 6-keto-PGFL was 32.04 ± 25.82 pg/ml and NOS was 27.88 ± 9.08 U/MI before the treatment,; after the treatment, the NO was 127.11 ± 103.60μmol/L, 6-keto-PGFLa was 50.03 ± 60.87 pg/ml and NOS was 35.12 ± 22.18 U/MI. In the control group, NO was 96.98 ± 82.45μmol/L, 6-keto-PGFLa was 40.31 ± 51.92 pg/ml and NOS was 28.12 ± 5.11 U/MI before the treatment; After the treatment, NO was 95.62 ± 6.31μmol/L, 6-keto-PGFLa was 29.09 ± 42.01 pg/ml and NOS was 30.11 ± 7.51 U/MI. In the treatment group, ET was 58.81 ± 33.18 pg/ml before the treatment and 42.47 ± 40.5 pg/ml. after the treatment. In the control group, ET was 56.81 ± 32.76 pg/ml before the treatment and 60.67 ± 12.81 pg/ml after the treatment. In terms of resistance to oxidative stress and MPO, the SOD ,GSH and MPO improvement rate of the treatment group was significantly better than the control group (P<0.05). In the treatment group, SOD was 48.36 ± 17.38 U/MI, GSH was 126.68 ± 19.93 g/L and MPO was 57.33 ± 8.34 mmol/L before the treatment, after the treatment, SOD was 62.45 ± 15.76 U/MI, GSH was 135.98 ± 28.99 g/L and MPO was 17.11 ± 3.60 mmol/L. In the control group, SOD was 48.44 ± 19.37 U/MI, GSH was 29.44 ± 21.66 g/L and MPO was 56.35 ± 14.44 mmol/L before the treatment, after the treatment, SOD was 57.35 ± 14.44 U/MI, GSH was 28.56 ± 24.06 g/L and MPO was 48.62 ± 6.31 mmol/L.ConclusionYiqi-Fumai injection combined with Shenshao capsule has curative effect on angina pectoris of coronary heart disease, being worth of clinical use.

Objective To study the impact of the thymosin alpha 1 on the toxicity and celluar immune function during neoadjuvant chemotherapy of breast cancer.Methods 83 patients of Ⅱ b-Ⅲ a stage breast cancer were randomly divided into two groups:study group(40 patients,neoadjuvant chemotherapy of CEF combined with thymosin α 11.6mg HQD) and control group(43 cases,neoadjuvant chemotherapy of CEF alone).Results Rates of gastrointestinal reaction and bone marrow depression in study group were significantly lower than those in control group.The levels of CD3,CD4,CD4/CD8 and NK in study group were significantly higher than those in control group after chemotherapy.Conclusion The combination of thymosin alpha 1 and neoadjuvant chemotherapy for breast cancer can reduce the toxicity,improve the tolerance,enhance cellular immune function and improve the quality of breast cancer patient's life.
