A case of congenital nephrotic syndrome (CNS) combined with skull dysplasia was confirmed based on clinical findings, laboratory examination and skull CT scan. Hereditary features, clinical manifestations, treatment and prognosis of CNS were reported in this paper after literatm'e review.

A model of s bacute senility state was established in mice by successive retrobulbar injectiou of 80 mg/kg D-galactose for 50 days. Concomitant oral administration of 4 g/kg and 8 g/kg gastrodia can effectively recovcr the decreased ability of the passive avoid ance reaction in the model animals.The activity of RBC SOD and the contents of hydroxyproline in the animals skin were markedly increased as well as the lipofuscin of myocardium. However, gastrodia was less effective to lower lipofuscin in liver and brain.

Objective To evaluate the effect of duration of subcutaneous injection on the extent of bruising at injection sites among patients receiving low- molecular weight heparin. Methods Randomized clinical trials and quasi-experimental within-subject design that assessed the effect of subcutaneous duration on the bruising of injection sites were selected in Cochrane library, JBI evidence-based practice medical and nursing database, PubMed biomedical information retrieval platform, Medline general medical literature retrieval database. RevMan5.3 software was used to analyze the data after quality assessment, and data extraction were made for eligible trials. Results A total of 9 trials were included. The results of Meta-analysis supported the 30 s duration injection technique on reducing the rate of bruising of injection sites than 10 s duration injection technique (odds ratio was 0.34,95%confidence interval 0.25-0.47, P<0.01).While it was failed to support the effect on reducing the bruising area 48 and 72 hours after injection (P > 0.05). Conclusions Increasing the length of low-molecular weight heparin subcutaneous injection can reduce the rate of bruising. While it could not effectively reduce the area.

Objective To evaluate the value of MSCT perfusion imaging in assessment of single renal function of hydronephrotic kidney.Methods 64-slice spiral CT perfusion was performed in 36 obstructive nephrohydrosis patients whose split renal glomerular filtration rate(GFR) was measured by SPECT renal dynamic imaging. ①The perfusion parameters of the renal cortex and renal medulla of the hydronephrotic kidney were compared with the normal kidney studied by contrast group. ②The 72 kidneys were divided into normal renal function, mild and severe renal impairment groups according to renal function. Differences between the groups respect to all the mean perfusion parameters of the renal cortex and renal medulla were assesses by ANOVA. ③Using Pearsons correlation test, the correlations between all the mean perfusion parameters of the renal cortex and renal medulla and renal GFR were examined.Results ① The time-density curves of bilateral normal renal cortex and medulla were not symmetric. The mean BF, BV, PS, PBV of renal cortex were (203. 2±44.9)ml·100 ml~(-1)·min~(-1), (27.6±3.9)ml/100 ml, (30.7±6.5)ml·100 ml~(-1)· min~(-1), (46.5±10. 9)ml/100 ml; and the mean BF, BV, PS, PBV of renal medulla were (99.9±24.1)ml·100 ml~(-1)·min~(-1) ,(18. 3±4.3)ml/100 ml, (51.8±12.1)ml · 100 ml~(-1)· min~(-1) , (21.3±3.0)ml/100 ml. The mean perfusion parameters of the cortex and medulla of obstructed kidney were lower compared to that of normal kidney. ②There were significant differences of all the perfusion parameters of the renal cortex and me-dulla between 3 groups (P<0. 05). ③The perfusion parameters of the renal cortex and medulla had positive linear correlation with GFR. The best correlation was the blood flow of the cortex of kidney. The correlation coefficient r=0.852.Conclusions64-slice spiral CT perfusion imaging can quantita-tively evaluate the haemodynamic condition and functional lesion of the kidney, classify the impaired kidney function. The perfusion parameters of the renal cortex and medulla had positive linear correlation with GFR.

Theexpressionsof HSP47, collagenⅣ,fibronectin(FN),plasminogen activator inhibitor 1(PAI-1) mRNA and HSP47,collagen Ⅳ,FN protein were detected by RT-PCR and Western blotting respectively.PAl-1 protein was detected by ELISA. ResultsHK-2expressedHSP47innormalmedium. ThemRNAandprotein expressions of HSP47 up-regulated in concentration- and time-dependent manner in HK-2 cells induced with increasing concentrations of TGF-β1(0,2.5,5,10 μg/L) and with prolong times (12,24,48 h),and peaked at 10 μg/L TGF-β1 for 48 h.Similar phenomena was observed in the mRNA andproteinexpressionsof collagenⅣ, FN, PAI-1inHK-2 cellsinducedbyincreasing concentrations of TGF-β1 (0,2.5,5,10 μg/L) at different time points (12,24,48 h),and peaked at 10 μg/L TGF-β1 for 48 h.HSP47 siRNA could significantly reduce the up-regulation of mRNA and protein expressions of HSP47,collagen Ⅳ,FN,PAI-1 in HK-2 cells induced by TGF-β1.Conclusion HSP47 can promote renal tubulointerstitial fibrosis maybe through the regulation of the expressions of collagen Ⅳ,FN,PAI-1.

Objective To identify the biomarkers which can be used of estimating the biological behaviors of prostate cancer with osseous metastasis by SELDI-TOF-MS. Methods Screening for potential tumor biomarkers of serum samples from 19 prostate cancer patients and 35 prostate cancer patients with osseous metastasis by using the technology of SELDI-TOF-MS and CM 10 protein chips (Ciphergen Inc. USA).The PBS Ⅱ protein chip reader was used to analyze the CM10 protein chips and transform the protein information into the form of spectra. The protein contents of two groups in the same mass-to-charge ratio (M/Z value) were analyzed and preceded the analysis of variance by Biomarker Wizard software. The proteins whose contents in serum were significantly different, which was distinguished the correctly groups by Biomarker Pattern software. Results The contents of 4 proteins in the two groups were significantly different and the M/Z values of these 6 proteins were from 2000 to 20 000. The relative protein content of prostate cancer patients group was higher than that of Prostate Cancer patients with osseous metastasis group at the M/Z value of 2089,4281, 3507 and 4178 [(4.63±8.03) vs (9.88±10.77), (19.78±21.46) vs (26.73±19.41), (5.46±10.14) vs (8.10±8.74), (38.01 ±26.27) vs (45.25±20.40), (P＜0.05)]. The relative protein content of prostate cancer patients group was lower than that of prostate cancer patients with osseous metastasis group at the M/Z value of 15 900 and 16 081 [(11.52±16.80) vs (4.84±5.83), (8.55±12.64) vs (3.56±3.90), (P＜0.05)]. Conclusion The associated serum protein in prostate cancer with osseous metastasis can be quickly and exactly diagnosed by SELDI-TOF-MS with high sensitivity and specificity. This new method will be widely used in clinical application.

Objective To find differential expression proteins in patients with T cell non-Hodgkin’ s lymphoma (T-NHL) by using surface-enhanced laser desorption and ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (SELDI-TOF-MS) technique and study their related clinical application value and prospect.Methods Serum protein of 36 T-NHL patients and 30 DLBCL patients were detected by the SELD1-TOF-MS technique and weak cation exchange (wcx-2) chip.Lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) was detected by biochemistry method.Beta2-microglobulin (β2-MG) was detected by enzyme-linked immunesorbent assay (ELISA).The significant different protein spectrometry were analyzed between DLBCL patients and T-NHL patients.The correlation analysis with protein spectrometry,disease staging,LDH and β2-MG were analyzed with Spearman.Results Nine potential candidate proteins,including the peak intensity of M/Z 1142.67,1451.43,1472.49,1512.03,3194.22,3267.41,3933.86,4593.12 and 9182.24,were identified in T-NHL patients.The 9 protein markers had no contact with disease staging of T-NHL (P ＞ 0.05).The protein markers of 4593.12 and 9182.24 were high level in T-NHL patients.LDH in these two protein markers’ positive group [(290.82±29.95) U/L,(283.94±100.94) U/L] was higher than that in negative group [(169.22±55.42) U/L,(169.50±59.25) U/L](t =-3.199,P =0.004; t =-2.378,P =0.026),and LDH was positive correlation with these two protein spectrometry (r =0.265,r =0.178,P ＜ 0.01).There was no statistically significant difference ofβ2-MG between these two protein markers’ positive group and negative group (P ＞ 0.05).The other 7 protein markers were low level in T-NHL patients,and there was no statistically significant difference of LDH and β2-MG in these 7 protein markers (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion The protein marker of 4593.12 and 9182.24 may be the specific serological markers to identify T-NHL.The combination of these two protein markers and LDH may assess the tumor load,and provide guiding value for clinical treatment.

Objective To investigate the therapeutic mechanism of bazedoxifene, the third-generation selective ER modulator (SERM), on endometriosis lesions in a rat model. Methods Endometriosis was induced by transplanting pieces of endometrium from other syngeneic rats that were as donors onto the subcutaneous of other unmated female rats. The rats with successful ectopic implants were divided into two groups:control group (n=10) and bazedoxifene group (n=10). The macroscopic morphology, volume, histopathology of ectopic implant and rats uterine wet weight were determined before and after the treatment. Expression of proliferation cell nuclear antigen (PCNA), ER and PR in the eutopic endometrium and endometriosis lesions detected by immunohistochemistry in the two groups. Results (1) The gross morphology and histological changes of endometriosis lesions in rats after treatment: compared with the control group, it was obviously depauperated and had more less glands and blood vessels in the stroma. (2) The change of rats′weight, the volume of endometriosis lesion before and after treatment and rats uterine wet weigh after treatment respectively in the control group and the bazedoxifene group:rats′ weight were respectively before treatment: (201±17) g, (202±18) g, that were respectively after treatment: (266±16) g, (261±16) g, which showed no significant difference between two groups before and after treatment (P>0.05). The volume of ectopic implant before treatment were respectively (85±17) mm3, (85±12) mm3, and showed no significant difference between two groups;that were respectively (48±11) mm3, (24±9) mm3 afte rtreatment, which was significantly decreased compared with the control group (P<0.05). Rats uterine wet weight after treatment were respectively:(0.77±0.16) g, (0.45±0.18) g, and was significantly reduced compared with the control group (P<0.05). (3) The protein expression levels of PCNA, ER and PR in the endometriosis lesions after treatment were respectively 0.282 ± 0.044, 0.51 ± 0.06, 0.49 ± 0.05 in the control group, 0.191 ± 0.020, 0.23 ± 0.03, 0.48 ± 0.06 in the bazedoxifene group; that in eutopic endometrium were respectively 0.369 ± 0.081, 0.56 ± 0.08, 0.56 ± 0.10 in the control group, 0.211 ± 0.037, 0.27 ± 0.05, 0.54 ± 0.08 in the bazedoxifene group;the protein expression levels of PCNA and ER in endometriosis lesions and the eutopic endometrium were significantly decreased in the bazedoxifene group compared with the control group (P<0.05), but the protein levels of PR in endometriosis lesionsand and the eutopic endometrium were not significantly altered by treatment (P>0.05). Conclusion Bazedoxifene could obviously reduce the size of endometriosis lesions, the mechanism may be related with suppressing estrogen-induced proliferation, the expression of ER and direct ER antagonism by this SERM.

Objective To investigate the ability of dental service in Yunnan province by analyzing the distribution of oral medical institutions,the distribution of oraloral medical staffs,the per capita outpatient costs,and the rate of visiting the doctor.Methods A general survey on oral medical institutions was finished by using questionnaires.Results There were 1045 dental institutions,416 of them were public dental institutions.305 were in Kunming.305 dental institutions were in Kunming,the number of dental institutions per square kilometer was 14.2,the dental manpower index wasl5,the rate of visiting the doctor was 14.19％,per capita outpatient costs were 139.9 Yuan,and the above indexes were ranked first in Kunming.Conclusions In Yunnan province,oral health resources distribution were imbalanced.Dental service ability was uneven,perfect oral disease diagnosis and treatment quality control systems needs to be established,including cultivating specialized nurses relieve the tense situation of oral health care resources,and implenting the four hand operation,so as to effectively improve the quality of medical services.
