1.Biological targeted therapy of after-cataract
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2012;30(1):91-93
After cataract, called posterior capsule opacification (PCO),is resulted from residual cortex or the proliferation of lens epithelial cells following extracapsular cataract extraction, and it is thought to be themost common complication and the main reason of eyesight decline after modern extracapsular cataract surgery.Lens epithelial cells remaining in the capsular bag after surgery play an important role in PCO.How to prevent and treat PCO is the focus of attention of eye scholars, and the major treating methods are administration of drug, laser and surgery.Recent years, scholars in home and abroad are interested in biological targeted therapy to prevent PCO,such as the topical application of antiproliferation of LECs,preparation of vector transfected immunotoxin and gene theropy etc.The research progress in recent years in the biological therapy of PCO were reviewed.

China Oncology 1998;0(04):-
Purpose: To examine the drug concentration in axillary nodes after regional injection of carboplatin-activated carbon suspension (CP-CH) in patients with breast cancer, and compared the result with what happened after regional injection of carboplatin solution ( CP-Sol). Methods: 32 patients with breast cancer were divided into 2 groups randomly with 16 patients in each group. One group received regional subcutaneous injection of CP-CH adjacent to the primary tumor. The contrast group received CP-Sol under the same conditions. Modified mammectomy was done 1, 12, 24, 72 hours later. The carboplatin concentration in axillary lymph nodes was examined by atom absorbing spectrometry. Results: At 1, 12, 24, 72 hours after injection of CP-CH, the carboplatin concentration in lymph nodes was 11.23?5. 66u,g/g, 26.40?11. 18u.g/g, 18.72?7. 14u.g/g, 15. 44?6. 92u,g/g, respectively. At 1, 12, 24 hours after injection of CP-Sol, the carboplatin concentration was 0. 24? 0. 06ug/g, 0. 13? 0. 08ug/g, 0. 12? 0. 04ug/g, respectively. No carboplatin was found at 72 hours after injection. The differences between the two groups were very significant (P

4.Pharmacokinetics of gastrodin from Tiangou Jiangya capsule in rats.
China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2014;39(15):2964-2967
The paper aims to study the pharmacokinetic parameters of gastrodin in rats effected by compound compatibilitiy and different doses of Tiangou Jiangya capsule. The extracts from Gastrodiae Rhizoma( equivalent to gastrodin 16.82 mg x kg(-1) and Tiangou jiangya capsule (equivalent to gastrodin 8.410, 16.82, 33.64 mg x kg(-1)) were oral administrated to rats respectively. The plasma were taken at various time points and treated with acetonitrile to measure the contents of gastrodin by HPLC method. The mean plasma concentration-time data were analyzed by 3P97 pharmacokinetic software and the pharmacokinetic parameters between groups were treated by SPSS 16.0. The results showed that gastrodin in rat was fitted to one-compartment model, Cmax and AUC of Tiangou Jiangya capsule were in direct proportion to oral administration, and t1/2Ka had nothing to do with doses, which indicated that gastrodin was fitted first-order rate transfter process in vivo. Morever, comparison with the Gastrodiae Rhizoma extract, isodose gastrodin in Tiangou Jiangya capsule showed a significant decrease for Cmax, Ke and increase for t1/2Ke, V/Fc, this indicated that compound compatibility can delay the absorbtion of gastrodin, prolong the resident time and promote the distribution in vivo, but its bioavailability is not significantly effected.

6. Analysis of the pediatric off-label use of medicines in 2012 edition of National Essential Medicine List
Chinese Pharmaceutical Journal 2015;50(21):1923-1926
OBJECTIVE: To investigate and study the 2012 edition of National Essential Medicine List chemical medicines and biological products off-label drug use in pediatrics, analyze the causes of off-label use of medications, provide the suggestion for off-label drug use in pediatrics. METHODS: To adopt questionnaire survey in different regions of the 10 third-grade class-A children's hospital off-label use of medications in 2012 edition of National Essential Medicine List chemical medicines and biological products of 309 types which excluded obstetrics and gynecology medication, family planning administration and national immunization programs with vaccine from 317 types. Excel 2007 software is used for data calculation and statistical analysis. RESULTS: CD20 categories, 22 dosage forms, which accounted for 80% of all drug categories are involved in off-label use of medications in 2012 edition of National Essential Medicine List. (2) Lack of children's dosage (62.95%) is mainly responsible for off-label of drugs. Off-label use of medications mainly manifest in off-labeling with pediatric indications (85.94%), of which labeling with pharmacological action without indication (45.63%) is the main type, and off-labeling with route of medication (66.96%). (3) 2013 edition of Chinese National Formulary (Chemical and Biological Products for Children) and 2010 edition of Chinese Pharmacopoeia of Clinical Medication Information are the main evidence for off-label drug use, account for 34.60% of the total number of cases. (4) 147 types of medicines which involved in off-label use are searched in a database named Micromedex. Indications have been approved by the the US Food and Drug Administration ( FDA) or not which labeling with children's dosage account for 27.10% of the total number of indications. CONCLUSION: Off-label drug use in the 2012 edition of National Essential Medicine List is an important public health issue for children. It reflects the lack of labeling with pediatric information. It is suggested that joint efforts should be paid by departments concerned and more support be provided to further improve the policy for children's medication.
7.Postmenopausal bleeding:a clinical analysis of 210 cases
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2006;0(09):-
Objective To investigate the causes, diagnostic methods, prevention and cure of postmenopausal bleeding(PMB).Methods The clinical and pathological data of 210 PMB patients admitted in this hospital were retrospectively analyzed. Results The causes for PMB were benign diseases(69.5%),the most of which were infec- tious diseases(49.5%),non-organic disease(20.5%)and malignant tumor(10.0%).Compared with benign diseases and non-organic diseases, the attack age of malignant tumor was higher[(67.1?6.9)years old],menopausal dura- tion was longer(11.6?2.9)years,bleeding duration was longer[(157.6?26.4)days],and mucous membrane was obviously thickened[(14.6?3.2)mm](P0.05).Conclusion The main cause for PMB is benign diseases, followed by non-organic diseases.More attentions should be paid to the PMB patients with higher attack age, longer menopausal duration and bleeding dura- tion, and obviously thickened mucous membrane,so as to be precautions to the occurrence of malignant tumor.

Journal of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2001;0(01):-
[Objective] To explore the in-vitro determination method for the recovery rate of sinomenine in microdialysis probe and to investigate the influencing factors. [Methods] The recovery rate of sinomenine was detected by concentration difference method (by gain and by loss) and zero-net flux method. [Results] The recovery rate detected by increment method was as the same as that by decrement method; the recovery rate had no correlation with the sinomenine concentration in the solvent. Sinomenine recovery assessed by concentration difference method had a good intra-day stability and intra-day reproducibility. Sinomenine concentration and recovery in the solvent could be determined accurately by zero-net flux method. [ Conclusion ] Microdialysis sampling can be used for the pharmacokinetic study of sinomenine and decrement method (ie. retrodialysis) can be used for the determination of recovery rate of sinomenine.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2005;9(22):248-249
BACKGROUND: Bag-1 is a multifunctional and anti-apoptotic gene. Its anti-apoptotic ability is enhanced when binding to bcl-2 to form a complex. Now it is considered as a predictive biomarker for the early diagnosis of breast cancer. However, whether it is useful in the assessment of the prognosis of breast cancer is still elusive.OBJECTIVE: To explore the expression of bag-1 in breast cancer and its role for prognosis.DESIGN: A controlled study with breast cancer, benign breast tumor and normal breast tissues as subjects.SETTING: The Vascular and Endocrine Surgery Department of Xijing Hospital of the Fourth Military Medical University of Chinese PLA.MATERIALS:Totally 100 breast cancer specimens were obtained form May 1995 to May 2000. Ten benign breast tumor and 10 normal breast tissues were used as control. All the specimens were paraffin-embedded and came from the Pathological Department of Xijing Hospital Affiliated to Fourth Military Medical University of Chinese PLA.METHODS: Immunohostochemical strept avidin-biotin complex(SABC) method was adopted to detect bag-1 expression in these specimens.pression levels of bag-1.RESULTS: The positive expression rate of bag-1 in breast cancer (85%) was significantly different form those of benign breast tumor (10%) and normal breast (10%) (χ2= 29.98, P = 0.00). While the positive expression rates in breast cancer of different stages (stage Ⅰ, stage Ⅱ and stage Ⅲ ) were 88%, 82% and 88%, respectively, which has no significant difference (χ2 = 0. 61, P = 0.75) . In duct carcinoma, lobular carcinoma and special carcinoma, bag-1 positive expression rate was 86%, 85% and 80%,which was also no significantly different (χ2 =0.16, P =0.95). In the 94followed patients, the 5-year survival rate of positive bag-1 expression was 79% and that of negative bag-1 expression was just 9%. The difference was significant (χ2 = 0. 07, P = 0.04).CONCLUSION: High bag-1 expression exists in breast cancer and its level is not associated with the clinical stages or pathological types of the cancer. Therefore, bag-1 may be used as a predictive marker for the prognosis of breast cancer.
