2.Cardiomyocyte apoptosis and regeneration in overload cardiac hypertrophy
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1986;0(05):-
s:Cardiomyocyte apoptosis and regeneration are present in overload cardiac hypertrophy. Cardiac myocyte apoptosis might be a critical factor during the transition from compensatory hypertrophy to heart failure. The mechanisms of apoptosis include extrinsic factors and some cellular signal pathways. On the other hand, cardiomyocyte hyperplasia, as well as hypertrophy, contributes to cardiac hypertrophy. Caridomyocyte regeneration is related to cyclin, cyclin dependent kinase (Cdk), Cdk inhibitors (CdkI), bcl-2, p53 and telomere. Cardiaomyocyte regeneration and apoptosis are linked through several factors.
3.Efficacy of adjunctive intravitreous injection with Lucentis for neovascular glaucoma
International Eye Science 2014;(6):1077-1079
AIM: To observe the clinical efficacy of adjunctive intravitreous injection with Lucentis for the treatment of neovascular glaucoma ( NVG) .
METHODS:The retrospective case series study included 25 eyes of 25 patients who underwentintravitreous injection with Lucentis. Patients firstly received an intravitreous injection with Lucentis (0. 5mg/0. 05mL), after the regression of neovascularization of the iris, patients accepted different surgical treatments according to different etiopathogenesis condition. Iris, chamber angle neovascularization condition, intraocular pressure, and visual acuity were observed postoperatively. The follow-up duration was 3mo.
RESULTS:After 3-7d of intravitreous Lucentis injecting, iris and chamber angle neovascularization was totally faded in 20 cases (20 eyes) and was not completely faded in 5 cases ( 5 eyes ) . Additional treatments were compound trabeculectomy ( 14 cases, 14 eyes ) , vitrectomy ( 4 cases, 4 eyes ) . The patients' mean intraocular pressure was 43. 42 ± 10. 99mmHg before treatment, which decreased rapidly when they came out of the hospital (14. 26±7. 64mmHg, P<0. 05) and stabilized during the follow-up 3mo (18. 76±5. 96mmHg, P<0. 05). Follow-up at 3mo, visual acuity improved or remained in 20 cases ( 20 eyes ) and decreased in 5 cases ( 5 eyes ) . The complete success, qualified success and failure were 21 eyes, 3 eyes and 1 eye, respectively.
CONCLUSION:Intravitreous injection with Lucentis can be used as an assisted treatment of NVG. According to different etiopathogenesis condition, it is an effective treatment to combine with other treatment methods for NVG.

Chinese Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery 2003;0(04):-
Objective To review the experience of OPCAB and plication of left ventricular aneurysm. Methods Without cardiopulmonary bypass, heparin was given at 1.0~1.5 mg/kg.The 2-0 Surgipro 843 sutures were placed across the base of aneurysm using a strip of teflon felt on either side. The suture line was oriented to reconstruct a relatively normal left ventricular contour. Concurrent CABG was performed. Results 46 cases were reviewed. Left internal mammary artery (LIMA) grafts to the LAD were performed in 39 cases, off-pump with cardiopulmonary bypass in 3, IABP were used in 2. One patient died of left ventricular dysfunction. The other patients had no new myocardial infarctions and were discharged 10 to 14 postoperative days. Conclusion OPCAB and plication of left ventricular aneurysm could obviously decrease the risk of cardiac rupture and avoid the complications of cardiopulmonary bypass.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2014;39(6):1048-1053
Chemical constituents of the essential oil in above-ground and root of Bupleurum malconense and root of B. chinense were investigated by GC-MS compiled with automated mass spectral deconvolution and identification system (AMDIS) and retention index. The results showd that the components of essential oil in B. malconense have some similarities with the one in B. chinense, and both of them have the higher content of caryophyllene oxide which is an active component of anti-inflammatory and analgesic. These results suggested that as a local substitute, B. malconense has a certain scientific basis of the treatment for cold fever.

Chinese Journal of Infectious Diseases 2001;0(03):-
Objective To study the effects of IFN ?,TNF ?,IL 1 and dexamethasone on the expression of intercellular adhesion molecule 1(ICAM 1) of primary cultured human hepatocyte. Methods ICAM 1 expression of primary cultured human hepatocyte was induced in vitro by IFN ?,TNF ? and IL 1, measuring by cellular enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA). The effect of dexamethasone on human hepatocyte ICAM 1 expression was observed by adding dexamethasone into the cultured human hepatocytes prior to cytokine stimulation. Results The levels of ICAM 1 expression were significantly lower in unstimulated human hepatocytes than in human hepatocytes induced by IFN ?,TNF ? and IL 1. There were relations among the levels of ICAM 1 expression and cytokine concentration as well as induced period of time. Dexamethasone could partly inhibit the ICAM 1 expression on human hepatocytes induced by TNF ?,IL 1 and IFN ?.The inhibition rates were 40.3%?5.9%,38.1%?4.8%, and 37.6%?6.7%, respectively. Conclusions Enhanced ICAM 1 expression of primary cultured human hepatocyte may be induced in vitro by IFN ?,TNF ? and IL 1, which may be partly inhibited by dexamethasone.
