Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2008;24(10):46-48
Objective The nursing and analysis of reasons of complications in patients with congenital cardiopathy undergoing interventional therapy were discussed. Methods A retrospective study was carried out in 174 patients with congenital cardiopathy undergoing interventional therapy and put forward selective nursing measures according to individual complications. Results Complications occurred in 17patients including 8 cases of general complications and 9 cases of heart related complications. But no death was reported. Conclusion Interventive treatment of congenital cardiopathy via sealing apparatus proved to be safe and effective. But great attention must be paid to the incidence of serious complications. We must adopt prompt measures upon early discovery and fasten the postoperation recovery.
2. Effects of hormone replacement therapy on endothelial function in menopausal women
Academic Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University 2009;21(3):202-205
Objective: To observe the effects of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) on endothelial function in menopausal women. Methods: A total of 30 menopausal women were treated with 2.5 mg of Tibolone (Livial) daily. At the same time, 30 women with natural menopause without any treatment served as the control group. Endothelium-dependent (EDD), endothelium-independent (NID) vasodilatation function, and estradiol (E2) were examined by the non-invasive high-resolution ultrasonography before the treatment and at 12th, 24th, 36th and 48th week of treatment, respectively. Results: After hormone treatment, E 2 increased significantly and EDD was improved significantly (P<0.05), and E2 was positively related with EDD (r=0.8092, P<0.001). No change of EDD was observed in the control group whereas a significant increase was observed in the treatment group. Conclusion: Endothelium-dependent vasodilatation dysfunction is prominent in menopausal women. Tibolone can help improve the condition.

In order to obtain the bifunctional chimeric molecule of single-chain urokinase-type plasminogen activator (scu-PA) which can inhibit platelet aggregation, PRGDWR peptide was inserted into the site between Gly 118 and Leu119 (called insertion mutant B, InB). The recombinant gene of InB was expressed by Pichia pastoris. The secreted protein was purified by metal chelate affinity and strong cation exchange chromatography. The amidolytic ability of mutant InB is 5 900 IU/mg, the kinetic constants is: KInB m,plg=56.8 μmol*L-1,kInBcat,plg=0.33 s- 1. The kinetic constants of plasminogen activation reaction is: KInB m,plg=0.397 μmol*L-1,kInBcat,plg=0.0164 s-1. Fibrin inhibit the catalytiv ability of InB during plasminogen activatio n, the influence factor is 0.463(means InB remain 46.3% of the catalytic abili ty when fibrin was involved in the reaction system). The mutant not only has alm ost the same catalytic ability as wild type scu-PA, but also has strong ability of anti-platelet aggregation(compared with scu-PA), IC50 of InB is 12.7 μmol*L-1.

Because the influence of fibrin on the reaction of plasm inogen activation by various plasminogen activators is different, the kinetic co nstant of the reaction of plasminogen activation catalyzed by InB with and witho ut fibrin were detected. The result is: Kfibrinm=4.2 μmol*L -1,greater than the normal Km=0.379 μmol*L-1; kfib rincat=0.107 s-1,greater than the normal kcat=0.0165 s-1. The results suggest that existence of fibrin in the reaction system of plasminogen activation depress the affinity between InB and plasminog en, but accelerates the hydrolysis of plasminogen by InB. The count up effect is inhibition.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1981;0(06):-
To explore the spatiotemporal patterns of the neuronal excitatory propagation in vestibular nucleus, brainstem sections were prepared from postnatal 1~5 day mice, and stained with RH155, which was an light absorbent voltage sensitive dye, for 20 minutes. A multiple site optical recording system was used for optical imaging of the evoked responses after electrical stimulation of the vestibular nerve. After stimulation of the vestibular nerve, optical responses were revealed in the vestibular nucleus. There was propagation of excitation in both ipsilateral vestibular nucleus and contralateral vestibular nucleus after ipsilateral vestibular nerve stimulation. These optical signals were wave length dependent. The optical signals consisted of two components: the spike like fast signal and long duration slow signal. All the responses were abolished by 20?mol/L tetrodotoxin (TTX). The effect of TTX was irreversible. The slow signals were entirely eliminated after the application of Ca 2+ free solution. The effect of Ca 2+ free solution was reversible. These results suggested that the slow signal might be postsynaptic excitation potential. The present study indicated that the use of optical recording to reveal visually the synaptic transmission of afferent input in vestibular nucleus in the brainstem was feasible.

Objective To investigate the relationship between different behavior types with classification of TCM and emotional disturbance in coronary artery disease (CAD) patients. Methods Two hundred and forty-two CAD patients were investigated and grouped to A or B type behavior with type A behavior pattern questionnaire (TABPQ) and symptom check-list 90 (SCL-90). To analysis the emotional disturbance in two groups and investigate their relations with syndrome classification of TCM. Results SCL-90 factor score of anxiety and depression in CAD patients was obviously higher than Chinese norm. Factor score of depression, anxiety, hostility, phobia, paranoid and psychotic state in A-type behavior group was obviously higher than that in B-type group, with statistical significance (P

Objective To explore the personality traits and professional profile of pharmacists, and compare the personality with other majors. Methods This study used 15FQ + personality factor questionnaire for comparing 92 pharmacists, who had been working more than 5 years in pharmacy department of general hospital, with 1064 other different professional staffs, who also had been working more than 5 years. Results The results showed that fA (17.61 ±3.58),fG (16.05 ±5.00),fI (15.82 ±4.26) ,tN (16.74 ±3.78) and fQ3 (18.04 ±3.28)scores of pharmacists were significant higher (P < 0. 05 ), while fC ( 10.61 ± 4.16 ), fE ( 10.84 ± 4.14 ), fL ( 6.33± 4.15 ) and fQ2 ( 8.37 ± 3.94) scores were significant lower (P < 0.05 ). Comparing pharmacists with dentists,fL was significant higher (P< 0. 05 ). Comparing with clinical and medical imaging profession, there were significant difference on fA,fI,fL, fM, fQ2 (P < 0.05 ). Comparing with liberal arts and engineering, there were significant difference on fB, fC, fE, fI, fL, fQ1, fQ2 (P < 0. 05 ). Conclusion Comparing with other different professional staffs ,pharmacists have their own personality traits, which are positive, perseverance, sensitive serious, self-discipline and so on. It provides a scientific basis for pharmacists selection and training.

Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2010;45(1):109-13
The pharmaceutical properties, including the physical and chemical properties, and the bioavailability are greatly influenced by their polymorphism. In this paper the polymer heteronuclei were used to produce the gabapentin polymorphs that were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction, FT-IR and DSC. The results indicated that the polymer heteronuclei are an effective method to control and select the gabapentin polymorphism. One new polymorph of gabapentin was found besides all known gabapentin polymorphs.
