A comparative observation about histological and histochemical study were made onthe preservating methods of local ischemic kidney of dogs.The methods of this exp-eriment were divided into five groups:A.Local hypothermia;B.Hypothermic perfu-sion solution 500ml,4℃,containing Procaine 450 mg and Heparin 100 mg,infusedinto renal artery;C.Hypothermic perfusion solution 500ml,4℃,containing 20% Ma-nniton 32ml,25% MgSO_4 0.36 ml,Heparin 100 ml,infused into renal artery;D.Localhypothermia and heparin 30 mg injected into the same vessel.E.Local room tem-perature.The specimens were taken from the kidneys of the experimental dogs atvarious period after treated with every method.The results were as follows;A,D and E group presented irreversible histological changes within 4 hoursaftertreatment.Four hours later,the reaction of SDH,ATPase,AlPase werenegative.It suggested that the kidney damage was serious,as well as expressed thatthe effect of these preservating methods for ischemic kidney are not satisfactory.In B group,the histological and histochemical alteration is very light and almostreversible,during 60 days after treatment.In C group,hypothermic perfusionsolution containing Mannitol,MgSO_4 etc either during experiment or follow observa-tion for 60 days,no histological and histochemical alterations were found.It indica-ted that this method is an ideal perservating technique for ischemic kidney.

OBJECTIVETo study the effects of prostadyn sabale capsules on chronic prostatitis (CP).

METHODSOne hundred and twenty-five CP cases were divided into three categories according to National Institutes of Health (NIH) concensus definition and classification of CP:31 of category II. 75 of category IIIA and 19 of category IIIB. All the cases were treated with prostadyn sabale capsules at the dosage of 320 mg twice a day. NIH chronic prostatitis symptom index (NIH-CPSI), routine examination and culture of expressed prostatic secretions (EPS) were prospectively evaluated before and after treatment.

RESULTSThe cure rates of category II, category IIIA and category IIIB were 25.8%, 16.0%, and 21.1% respectively, the general cure rate being 19.2%. The alleviation rate was 63.5% and the total effectivity rate was 82.7%. No side effects were observed.

CONCLUSIONSProstadyn sabale capsules have good effects on CP.

Objective To improve the level of diagnosis and treatment through analyzing the clinical characteristics,treatment and prognosis with testicular torsion in children.Methods We conducted a retrospective analysis of 221 boys with testicular torsion,who received trearment from May 2003 to May 2023 at the Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University and Guizhou Provincial People's Hospital.Data analysed included:clinical characteristics,treatment progress and outcome.Results The peak onset age of testicular torsion in children was infancy and prepuberty(71％).The incidence of left side(77％)was higher than that of right side(23％).The first symptoms were mainly scrotal pain and swelling(62％),but some cases mainly manifested lower abdominal pain and inguinal pain(11％).The rate of misdiagnosis and mistreatment of patients in basic hospitals was high.Scrotal color Doppler ultrasonography is the first choice for assistant examination,and mainly showed none or dramatically decrease of blood supply in testis,and abnormal axial direction.The golden time for testicular torsion diagnosis was within 8 hours.The chief pathological manifestation were interstitial hyperemia,edema and seminiferous tubules degeneration within 8 hours,and hemorrhagic necrosis or infarction over 8 hours.Conclusions Children Testicular torsion occurs more frequently in infancy and prepuberty,torsion position in the left side is more than that in right side.The main symptoms are scrotal pain and swelling,as well as lower abdominal or inguinal pain.Testicular pathological lesion is closely associated with the diagnosis time and degree of torsion.
