1.Efficacy Research for Different Concentration Iodophor Disinfectant Applied to Prevent the Infection of Pericineum Incision

Objective To explore optimal effectiveness concentration of Iodophor(a iodic complex) disinfectant in order to reduce further the intrapartum infection rate of pericineum incision.Methods Pericineums of 4760 puerperants with lateral perineotomy were sterilized by 5% Iodophor disinfectant solution,these puerperants had child-birth in period from Jun 1998 to Aug,2002 in our hositpal,as experimental group.Other hositalized 3520 puerperants with lateral perineotomy during Mar.1996 to May 1998,their pericineums were sterilized by 0 5% Iodophor disinfectant solution,as control group.Results Intrapartum infection rate of operation-assisted labor,spontaneous delivery was lower in the experimental group than those of control group.There was obvisusly difference(P

AIM:Titanium-Nickel shape memory alloy(TiNi-SMA) has memory,abradability and good biocompatibility. It has different osteotomy methods and biomechanics from routine distraction osteogenesis. In this study,the dog models of mandibular defects were established to explore the effect of TiNi-SMA distractor with different osteotomy methods on mandibular distraction osteogenesis. METHODS:The experiment was performed at the animal experimental center of Sun Yat-sen University from October to December 2005. ①Eight male adult Beagle canines of 12-14 kg were selected. A 1.5 cm?1.0 cm bone defect was made in bilateral mandible of each dog. The same size transport bone disc was created mesially by osteotomy on left side and corticotomy on right side. TiNi-SMA distractor was implanted to repair defect. ②One,four,and seven days,and nine weeks after operation,the canines were radiographed for histological analysis and bone formation was observed. RESULTS:Eight dogs were all included in the final analysis. ①Gross observation found the wounds healed well without infection in all experiment dogs. ②X-ray examination showed the bone transport disc on the right side of corticotomy moved to defect area gradually after operation and filled defect area on the whole on the 7th day after operation;The bone transport disc dislocated 1 day after operation and separated from defect area totally on the 7th day after operation on the side of osteotomy(left side). ③ Histological examination demonstrated bone formed in accordance with intramembranous ossification in distraction zone and bony connection between the transport disc and mesial mandible on right side;On the left side,there was a big defect at the area of both distraction and defect zone because of dislocated bone transport disc,and no obvious new bone regeneration was found. CONCLUSION:Corticotomy can be used to establish a successfully canine model of mandibular distraction osteogenesis.
3.Clinical analysis of arrhythmia after total pneumonectomy

Objective To approach the reason and treatment of arrhythmia after total pneumonectomy. Methods 94 arrhythmic cases after total pneumonectomy surgery were reviewed, the arrhythmia's clinical types, developing reasons and treatment process were summarized. Results There are 34 arrhythmic cases (36.2%) in all the 94 patients, most of them are sinus tachycardia. The incidences of arrhythmic are about 22.5 % and 78.3 % for normal and abnormal ECG patients before operation. The incidences of arrhythmic are also about 24.2% and 28.1% for using PCEA or not using any pain killers after surgery. Conclusion Arrhythmia after total pneumonectomy was influenced by patients' age, previous medical history, suffered hypoxemia during operation and high cardiac irritability. Using interventional treatment for patients with cardiovascular disease before operation, give enough oxygen, keep respiratory tract ease and smooth and using analgesia can significantly decease the arrhythmic incidence after total pneumonectomy.
4.Initial study of CD133 as one of the surface markers in liver cancer stem cells

Objective To detect the expression of CD133 in hepatic cell lines SMMC7721 and bcl-7402, and to investigate the possibility of CD133 as the surface marker of liver cancer stem cells. Methods The cell cycle and expression of CD133 in hepatic cell lines SMMC7721 and bcl-7402 were detected by flow eytometry. Magnetic cell sorting was used to isolate CD133-positive and CD133-negative cells. The differences in morphology, proliferation and differentiation between CD133-positive and CD133-negative cells were observed and analyzed by one-way ANOVA and u test. Results The percentages of CD133-positive cells in SMMC7721 and bcl-7402 cell lines were 0.7% -1.0% and 1.7% -8.9%, respectively. The percentages of CD133-positive cells in G0>/G1> phase in the 2 cell lines were 85.3% and 89.4%, which were significantly higher than CD133-negative cells and unsorted cells (F = 14.49, 38.84, P <0.05). The in vitro proliferation capability of CD133-positive cells was greater than that of CD133-negative cells and unsorted cells, especially during day 1-3 and day 5-7 (F =49.32,784.04, 89.91, 152.83, P < 0. 05). During the cultivation, the proportion of the CD133-positive cells decreased as time passed by, and the proportion of CD133-positive cells was nearly the same as unsorted cells on day 15 (u =O. 271, P <0.05). Conclusions CD133-positive ceils have strong capability of proliferation and differentiation in SMMC7721 and bcl-7402 cell lines in vitro. CD133 is one of the surface markers of liver cancer stem cells.
5.Feasibility study of tricuspid inflow E-wave peak velocity on evaluating severity of tricuspid regurgitation

Objective To demonstrate the possibility when discriminating between severe and nonsevere tricuspid regurgitation by E-wave velocity in tricuspid flow.Methods The peak velocity of the tricuspid inflow E-wave was measured in 107 patients,who were divided into mild group(n =39),moderate group(n =42)and severe group(n =26)according to the degree of tricuspid regurgitation(TR).Results Peak E-wave velocity of mild group,moderate group and severe group was (48.6 ±13.8)cm/s,(47.4 ±11.7)cm/s,and (78.3 ±26.1)cm/s, respectively.Mean E-wave velocity of mild group and moderate group were similar,which were lower than that of severe group (P <0.01).A peak E-wave velocity of over 62 cm/s had a sensitivity of 71% and specificity of 92% for the detection of severe TR.Conclusion Increased peak tricuspid E-wave velocity is associated with severe TR and thus can be used as a simple measure of TR grade.
7.A study about the radiation dose of full field digital mammography in different AOP mode

Objective To study the method of selecting appropriate exposure parameter of AOP mode and reducing the radiation dose effective with the control of image quality .Methods The unique mammary phantom was mammography in three different AOP mode(DOSE mode ,STD mode and CNT mode) and compared the radiation dose .150 sample was selected randomly .50 sample each mode ,and recorded the radiation dose .All image reach the diagnostic standard .The mean dose of the each mode were computed and compared with others .Results whatever the phantom mammography and the sample mammography ,the mean dose in DOSE mode was lowest ,higher in STD mode ,and highest in CNT mode .The number of fiber cords ,mass and calcification fit the standard of quality control .The image of sample aslo fit the diagnostic standard .Conclusion In daily work ,we can lower the dose choosing appropriate mode according to the thickness and density of mammary .DOSE mode prior ,STD mode advocate limit to CNT mode .
8.Micro-determination on activating complement in detecting biological properties of Fc fragment of IVIG

【Objective】 To improve method for determinating of biological potency of IgG Fc fragment in Chinese Pharmacopoeia and establish a method which is suitable for enzyme-labeled instrument. 【Methods】 The biological properties of FC fragment of IVIG in Chinese Pharmacopiea(General 3514) was adjusted, including sensitization process, sample treatment and dynamic curve parameters. Meanwhile, the kinetic curve of hemolysis was fitted with Origin, which made the method more suitable for enzyme plate. The biological properties of Fc fragment of IVIG was calculated by kinetics curve reaction of reference and sample. 【Results】 The method are stable, the RSD of repeatability and intermediate is 10%, also with significant improvement in efficiency. 【Conclusion】 The detection of properties of Fc fragment of IVIG is stable and efficient, it can be used for properties of Fc fragment of IVIG.
9.Quality of medicinal maltose as a excipient in the production of blood products: a comparative study

【Objective】 To comprehensively compare the quality and filtration efficiency of medicinal maltose between two domestic manufacturers(B, C) and one foreign manufacturer(A), compare their product quality as an excipient for intravenous immunoglobulin(IVIG), so as to determine the feasibility and substitutability of maltose as an excipient for IVIG from different manufacturers. 【Methods】 Quality inspection and comparison of maltose from different manufacturers, small-scale filtration tests, and product quality comparision of IVIG(pH4) were conducted. 【Results】 The comparis on results showed that there was no significant difference in the quality of medicinal maltose between manufacturer B and A, and there was no significant difference in the quality of IVIG (pH4) produced. The quality of manufacturer C did not meet the requirements. 【Conclusion】 There is no significant difference in the quality of medicinal maltose produced by manufacturer B and A, which can be used for the production of IVIG (pH4).
10.Post market trial of hepatitis B immunoglobulin for intravenous administration

Objective To observe the efficacy and adverse reaction of the test drug hepatitis B immunoglobin on the post market.Method Employed by the methods of multiple center's clinical trials and using the recommended dosage of hepatitis B immunoglobulin for intravenous administration,the clinical efficacy of either prevention or treatment for hepatitis B recurrence and drug related adverse reactions were observed.This consisted of 22.1 months,13 hospitals,and 525 patients with hepatitis B related liver transplantation.Result The results showed a contrasting probability of adverse reactions for different doses among the observation period.Within 6 months postoperatively with a greater or equal to recommended drug dose,the infection rate was less than 4%.In contrast,the infection rate was greater than 12% in the group with less than the recommended drug dose.Conclusion There was an obvious dose effect relationship,and the drug safety and recommended treatment rationality were verified.
