1.Repeated Bronchial Artery Embolization in the Treatment of Recurrent Hemoptysis
Journal of Interventional Radiology 1994;0(03):-
This paper reported that bronchial artery embolization(BAE)had been used to treat 35 non tumorous patients who suffered from recurrent hemoptysis or acute severe hemoptysis after the given medical treatment was proved uneffective in 35 patients,7 patients had recurrent hemoptysis during 1.5~19 months postoperatively and were treated by BAE again, and there was no recurrence of hemoptysis during 7~34 months follow-up.Therefore, the authors considered that repeated BAE was still effective in treating recurrent hemoptysis.

AIM: To evaluate the clinical efficacy of surgery for spontaneous subconjunctival orbital fat prolapse via bulbar conjunctiva under topical anesthesia.
●METHODS: A total of 22 eyes of 11 patients received surgery for spontaneous subconjunctival orbital fat prolapse via bulbar conjunctiva under topical anesthesia were included. Objective and subjective duration of the operation, degree of cooperation during surgery, postoperative recovery, recurrence and complications were observed.
●RESULTS: In the process of surgery, patients without pain and being-cooperated were recorded in 17 eyes. The patients who occasionally felt slight pain, but within endurance after adding topical anesthesia once and the operation was completed successfully were recorded in 5 eyes ( the second eye surgery ) . The operation was successfully completed in all the patients. Compared the coordination degree during surgery of Gradel with GradeⅡ, the difference was statistically significant ( t=-3. 123, P<0. 01). All eyes were healed well after operation.
● CONCLUSION: The surgery for spontaneous subconjunctival orbital fat prolapse via bulbar conjunctiva under topical anesthesia can ensure satisfactory anesthetic effect and get better quality of operation. It′s a simple, safe and effective anesthesia method for spontaneous subconjunctival orbital fat prolapse.
3.In vitro clearance effects of gallium nitrate on biofilms of clinically isola-ted Staphylococcus aureus
Chinese Journal of Infection Control 2015;(4):223-226
Objective To study the effect of new type antiseptic gallium nitrate on the clearance of Staphylococcus aureus (S .aureus)biofilm, and explore new methods for suppressing bacterial biofilm formation. Methods Biofilm positive strains were screened among 14 clinically isolated S .aureus strains by crystal violet staining method,mini-mal inhibitory concentration (MIC)of gallium nitrate for biofilm positive strains and effect of gallium nitrate on the clearance of biofilm were measured. Results Of 14 S .aureus isolates,9 were biofilm positive strains;gallium ni-trate MICs for S .aureus ATCC 25923,biofilm-negative strain, and 9 biofilm positive strains were all 16 μg/mL;the clearance rate of gallium nitrate for early biofilm of S .aureus was significantly higher than mature biofilm ([86.53±0.96]% vs [62.54±1 .53]%,t=35.699,P <0.001 ).Conclusion Gallium nitrate can inhibit growth of S .aureus strains and clear biofilm,it can be applied in the prevention and control of S .aureus infection.

Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(07):-
Objective To assess the changes of coagulation and fibinolysis in patients undergoing thoracotomy. Methods Forty patients undergoing thoracotomy were enrolled into this trial. The venous blood were collected for normal coagulable function test at the following time points: before surgery, at 3 h after the beginning of surgery, at 1 d and 3 d after surgery. Results PT, APTT levels had no obvious change. Compared with before and during surgery, FG levels decreased obviously at 1 d and 3 d after surgery. TEG showed the value of R and K increased during and after surgery and value of MA decreased during and 1 d after surgery, but they had no significance in statistics. CI decreased significantly during and after surgery as compared with before surgery(P
