1.THE EFFECT OF CYSTEINE PROTEASE INHIBITOR OF SNAKE VENOM(SV-CYSTATIN) ON MOUSE MELANOMA CELLS INVASION IN VITRO AND IN VIVO
Acta Anatomica Sinica 2002;0(06):-
Objective To investigate the effect of cysteine protease inhibitor of snake venom(sv-cystatin) on invasiveness and metastasis of melanoma cells. Methods The recombinant plasmid pcDNA3.1/sv-cystatin was constructed and transferred into mouse melanoma cell line B16F1 by lipofection technology. The positive clones were screened by G418 and the sv-cystatin expression was detected by RT-PCR and Western blotting. The ability of tumor cell invasion was identified by Boyden chamber in vitro and tumor invasion animal model in vivo. The ability of tumor cell proliferation and adhension was also determined by MTT assay. Results Expression of sv-cystatin was detected in B16F1/sv-cys cells after gene-transfection.Transfection of sv-cystatin significantly decreased the invasion and migration of B16F1/sv-cys cells along with obviously inhibited the experimental pulmonary metastasis in vivo, but the proliferation and adhension capacity of B16F1/sv-cys cells had no change. Conclusion Transfection of sv-cystatin gene into mouse melanoma cell line results in the suppression of the invasion potential in vitro and in vivo.
2.Development and application of ward adjustable pillow
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2003;0(12):-
An adjustable pillow with inflatable cushion and soft polyurethane sponge is introduced. It is not easily deformed and the height is adjustable. In addition,it is easy to carry and can be cleaned and disinfected thoroughly.Though the design is quite simple, this kind of pillow can improve the patients' sleep quality and prevent pollution of pillow as a result of iatrogenic infection.
3.Intravaginal ejaculatory latency time: Advances in studies.
National Journal of Andrology 2016;22(2):165-170
Although premature ejaculation (PE) is a common type of male sexual dysfunction, to date we lack a unified definition of PE. The multidimensional definition of PE has been accepted by more and more clinicians. Intravaginal ejaculatory latency time (IELT) is one of the three important dimensions (time to ejaculation, inability to control or delay ejaculation, and negative consequences) for defining PE. Rapid ejaculation is one of the core symptoms of PE and IELT is an objective measurement as well as an important tool for the evaluation of PE. This article reviews estimated IELT, stopwatch-measured IELT, the correlation between estimated and stopwatch-measured IELT, and the factors affecting IELT in the general male population, PE patients, and those complaining of PE.

4.Effect on chronic urticaria and serum IL-4 and IgE in the patients treated with moving cupping therapy and autohemotherapy with acupoint inection.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2014;34(12):1185-1188
OBJECTIVETo explore the clinical efficacy and effect mechanism on chronic urticaria treated with moving cupping therapy combined with autohemotherapy with acupaint injection for desensitization at acupoints.
METHODSOne hundred and four patients of chronic urticaria were randomized into a comprehensive therapy group and a medication group, 52 cases in each one. In the comprehensive therapy group, the moving cupping therapy along the governor vessel and bladder meridian of foot-taiyang was applied combined with autohemotherapy with acupaint injection for desensitization at acupoints. The self-venous blood was injected at bilateral Quchi (LI 11) and Zusanli (ST 36), 1 mL at each acupoint, once every 3 days. In the medication group, cetirizine tablets, 10 mg were prescribed for oral administration, once every day, and the compound dexamethasone acetate cream was used externally, once to twice a day. The clinical efficacy: was observed in 30 days of treatment in the two groups. The changes of serum interleukin 4 (IL-4) and immunoglobulin E (Ig E) before and after treatment were observed. The recurrence rate was compared between the two groups in 3 months after treatment.
RESULTSThe cured and markedly effective rate was 90.4% (47/52) in the comprehensive therapy group, which was higher obviously than 78.8% (41/52, P < 0.05) in the medication group. The levels of serum IL-4 and IgE were reduced in the patients of the two groups, indicating the significant difference in comparison before and after treatment (all P < 0.01) and the reducing degree in the comprehensive therapy group was much more significant than that in the medicine group (both P < 0.01). The recurrence rate was 19. 1% (9/47) in the comprehensive therapy group in the 3-month follow-up after treatment, and apparently lower than 51.2% (21/41, P < 0.01).
CONCLUSIONThe moving cupping therapy combined with autohemotherapy with acupaint injection for desensitization at acupoints achieves the better efficacy on chronic urticaria compared with the routine western medicine treatment and the recurrence rate is low. The effect mechanism is possibly related to the down-regulation of serum IL-4 and IgE in the patients.

Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2006;0(06):-
Objective To analyse the tongue characteristics of cancer patients during chemotherapy ,in order to guide the TCM treatment. Methods 42 patients' tongue figure was collected respectively before and after chemotherapy by Canon digital camera, then to analyse the characteristics. Results Purple tongue was the most common in tongue color, account for 38.10%;meanwhile the tongue with stasis patch or with toothmark were common in tongue shape, account for respectively 26.19% and 21.43%;white thick or greasy tongue fur was the most common, especially in the central of tongue. Conclusion Deficience of Qi and blood stasis syndrome is common in cancer patients after chemotherapy, it is helpful to provide tasis for treatment of tonifying Qi and activating blood during chemotherapy.
9.Using Sengstaken-Blakemore tube as assist treatment of escophageal and gastric variceal bleeding under emergency endoscopy
China Journal of Endoscopy 2016;22(8):57-60
Objective To evaluate the effect of Sengstaken-Blakemore tube in assisting cyanoacrylate injection combined with sclerotherapy and variceal ligation under emergency endoscopy in treating escophageal and gastric variceal bleeding. Methods 60 patients were randomly selected, and were evenly divided into 2 groups single blindly. Endoscopic cyanoacrylate injection, sclerotherapy and variceal ligation were performed in control group, and additional Sengstaken-Blakemore tube were used in experimental group. Results All the 30 patients in study group got effective hemostasis (30 of 30, 100.00 %), whereas only 23 patients in control groups stopped bleeding (23 of 30, 76.67 %) (P < 0.05). escophageal and gastric variceal were cured 19 patients in the experimental group (19 of 30, 63.33 %) , and only 4 were cured in the control group (4 of 28, 14.28 %) (P < 0.05). Meanwhile, occurence of fever, chest pain, hospital days and hospitalization costs of experimental group was significantly lower than that in control group (P < 0.05). Conclusions Treating the escophageal and gastric variceal bleeding, using endoscopic cyanoacrylate injection, sclerotherapy; and variceal ligation under emergency endoscopy combined with Sengstaken-Blakemore tube could significantly increase the therapeutic efficiency as well as reduce complications and therapy cost.
10.Expression of Adrenomedullin and Its Receptors mRNA in Neonatal Rats with Hypoxic-Ischemic Brain Damage
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(12):-
Objective To explore the expression of adrenomedulin(ADM) and its receptors mRNA in newborn rats with hypoxic-ischemic brain damage(HIBD).Methods Eighty 7-day-old Wistar neonatal rats were randomly assigned 10 groups,to the sham- operation group(the left common carotid artery without ligated and no hpoxia environment),HIBD different time points groups(0,2,4,6,8,10,12,24,48 hours). The expression of ADM mRNA was measured in cortex at different time points by the reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).Results Expressions of ADM and its receptors mRNA in neonatal rats with HIBD increased, and after HIBD 2-4 hours, had a significant difference compared with the sharn-operation group, and reached the highest after HIBD 8-10 hours(P
