1.Environmental Pollution by Quinolines Antibiotics from Human and Animal Excreta
Journal of Environment and Health 2007;0(12):-
Quinolines antibiotics present stable chemical properties ,higher excretion of prototype drug. Most of quinolines antibiotics used by human and animals show original and various biological activity forms in the excrement, which is important to ecological environment and human health. The data indicate that the present clinical treatment is facing frequent occurrence and higher rates of quinolines antibiotics-resistance, which is related to environmental pollution by quinolines antibiotics. So far as little research is focused on the management of the excrement from human and animals using quinolines antibiotics, and the control, management of the residues of excrement are very important for reducing the risk of antibiotic-resistance in human.
2.Retrospective Analysis of Literature on Compatible Stability of Drugs Indexed in CHKD in 2005
China Pharmacy 2007;0(31):-
OBJECTIVE: To probe into the overall situation about the study on compatible stability of drugs. METHODS: The compatible stability of drugs reported in a total of 113 articles in 2005 in 52 kinds of periodicals were retrieved from CHKD and summarized analytically. RESULTS: The drug categories involved were chiefly antibiotics (59%), Chinese traditional medicines or Chinese drug components (20%) and other drugs (21%). Quantitative analyses in 91 articles were chiefly conducted by ultraviolet spectrophotometry (79%) or HPLC (20%). CONCLUSION: Because the ultraviolet spectrophotometry was greatly used and some experimental designs were not well-knit enough, the reliability of experimental results of compatible stability of drugs might be seriously affected, which poses a great danger to the clinical compatible use of drugs.

Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 1997;0(11):-
Objective It has been shown that ketamine can effectively suppress expression of cell adhesion molecules in vitro. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of ketamine on plasma adhesion molecules in vivo during cardiac valve replacement. Methods Twenty ASA Ⅲ-Ⅳ patients (7 males, 13 females) aged 23-65 yrs, weighing 31-77 kg undergoing cardiac valve replacement were randomly divided into two groups of 10 patients each : ketamine group received ketamine 2 mg?kg-1 i.v. before induction of anesthesia and at the start of CPB and control group received normal saline instead of ketamine. Blood samples were taken from radial artery for determination of plasma P-selectin, L-selectin, ICAM-1, IL-6 and cTnI concentrations before induction of anesthesia (T0 ,baseline) , 20 min after initiation of CPB (T1) , 30 min after aortic declamping (T2) 4 h and 24 h after CPB (T3, T4) . Results There was no significant difference between the two groups in age, weight, operation time, CPB time and aortic cross-clamping time. The concentrations of P-selectin, L-selectin, ICAM-1 and IL-6 at T1-4 and cTnI at T2-4 increased significantly compared to baseline (T0) in both groups ( P

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2015;21(10):1124-1127
Objective To establish the model of traumatic brain injury in rats with controlled cortical impact (CCI), and investigate the features of coma and cognition. Methods 40 male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into control group (n=10), sham group (n= 10) and CCI group (n=20). CCI group was impacted at bilateral frontal lobe with the velocity of 3.5 m/s, depth of 7 mm and dwell time of 250 ms. The time of consciousness loss was recorded, and all the rats were investigated with Morris Water Maze 10 and 20 days after operation. Results The time of consciousness loss was longer in the CCI group than in the control group and the sham group (P<0.001). The escape latency was longer in the CCI group than in the control group and the sham group (P<0.001), while the percent of time spend in goal quarter during probe trial was less (P<0.001), both 10 days and 20 days after operation. Conclusion CCI at bilateral frontal lobe of rats can establish the model of severe traumatic brain injury with coma and long-term cognitive dysfunction.
