1.Perioperative Use of Antibacterials:Analysis of 300 Surgical Cases
China Pharmacy 1991;0(05):-
OBJECTIVE:To analysis the application status of antibiotics in perioperative patients of our hospital.METHO-DS:The use of antibiotics in 300 perioperative patients(100 with type Ⅰ incisions and 200 with type Ⅱ incisions)from June to November in 2006 were analyzed retrospectively.RESULTS:In the patients with type Ⅰ incisions,Cephalosporins took the lead on the list of DDDs,followed by Penicillin,Nitroimidazole,FQNS,and Aminoglycosides.CONCLUSION:Physicians should have an increased awareness to the rational prophylactic use of antibiotics in perioperative patients to lower the perioperative infection rate of incisions.
2.Construction of medical research platform in prefecture-level city maternity and child healthcare hospital
Chinese Journal of Medical Science Research Management 2014;27(6):670-673
Objective To improve the health of women and children,we built a medical research platform with maternal and child health characteristics and feature. Methods Since January 2011,we build the medical research platform of Huaian MCH through the following three aspects.①To firmly establish the thought of Science and technology to revitalizing the hospital and outstand technical innovation.② built a medical research platform with maternal and child health characteristics and feature.③To focus on construction of Research platform. Results After building research platform, the total number of published papers or high-level papers and the total number or level of the Research Projects and the New Technology Award are significantly higher. Many disciplines and specialist technical levels have been improved in our MCH.Neonatal Medical Center and Children's Health Center have upgraded to Provincial Maternal and Child Healthcare key disciplines. The department of women healthcare has upgraded to Provincial Maternal and Child Healthcare key disciplines construction unit.In 2012,our MCH got top 30 of comprehensive index ranking in operation and development of the National Maternal and Child Health agencies. Conclusion Building the medical research platform with the characteristics of maternal and child healthcare, can improve maternal and child healthcare service quality and level of clinical services, and promote the development of the hospital's overall strength, thereby increasing the ability of hospitals to protect the health of women and children.
3.The Expression of Aquaporin-2,3,4 in Rats' Endolymphatic Sac and Kidney
Journal of Audiology and Speech Pathology 2004;0(05):-
Objective To confirm the expression of Aquaporin2,3,4(AQP2,3,4,water channel protein) in rats'endolymphatic sacs(ES)and kidneys and to investigate and to compare the effects of anti-diuretic hormone(AVP) and DDAVP([deamino-Cys1,D-Arg8]-Vasopressin,V2-receptor agonist)on the expression of AQP2 in rats' ESs and kidneys. Methods 30 healthy Swards white rats were divided into the negative control,AVP group and dDAVP group respectively. The animals were cardiacally perfused. The temporal bones and kidneys were taken out and sectioned by means of the paraffin-embedded technique. The sections of ESs were labeled with fluorescent antibody by immunohistochemical method, and the kidneys' with avidin-biotin-peroxidase complex method(ABC).The expressions of AQP-2 were confirmed in the ESs of the rats while the different effects of the AVP and DDAVP on the ESs and the kidneys were observed. The slides used were analyzed by the image-analyzer and the subsequent data were statistically studied. Results In the cytomembrane and cytoplasm of ESs' epithelia, the constant and clear fluorescent reaction could be observed in the normal control group with the first antibody of AQP2.Significant feeble fluorescent reaction of the first antibody of AQP-2 was revealed in AVP group and DDAVP group. In comparison with the control group, significant stain was found in AVP group and DDAVP group.Noted were also lower gray(P
6.Use of Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) Technology in the Management of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in the Primary Care Setting: A Case Report
The Singapore Family Physician 2021;47(1):54-57
This case report of a 30-year-old type 2 diabetic patient illustrates the advantages of using real-time continuous glucose monitoring (rt-CGM) in a primary care setting. The patient was successfully weaned off subcutaneous insulin injections over a period of
two months and achieved even better time-in-range outcomes. The patient is empowered with more insight into his metabolic condition and is currently trying new techniques such as intermittent fasting to further improve his diabetes.
