5.Evaluation of 13 patients with respiratory tract burn who were treated in the National Institute of Burn during 1999
Journal of Practical Medicine 1998;344(1):16-18
The study involved 13 patients with respiratory tract burn (RTB) at National Institute of Burn during 1999. All patients were men, aged 15-65 years. The most common cause of RTB is fire burning. The time of exposure to burn-caused agents is long. Area under common and deep burn is large. Burn lesions occur on neck-face-head region and anterior trunk of body. The patients often suffer from face and neck edema and fired hair. Respiratory distress is a common manifestation. RTB has tended to progress seriously with high mortality. Tracheotomy is needed for intensive care. The patients should be monitored closely and given proper indications.

6.Multiple foreign bodies in the respiratory tract: report a case
Journal of Practical Medicine 2001;395(3):95-11
Here we reported a case of 27-year-old man who had to hospitalize due to severe cough. Chest radiological imaging revealed multiple foreign bodies in the airway: two in the intermediate bronchus, two in the right subsegmental bronchi and one in the left main stem bronchus. Under general anesthesia with intravenous propofol, the fibre-optic bronchoscope (Olympus FB-P30) was used to remove all these foreign bodies
