Objective To explore the pathogenesis of juvenile disorders of spine facet joints and to clarify the diagnosis by concluding the clinical and imaging manifestations. Methods Retrospectively analyzed imaging data of 250 patients from 10~30 years with disorders of spine facet joints including X-ray and CT and MRI.Results Reasons of juvenile disorders of spine facet joints has unique imaging manifestations of asymmetric of small joints and joint surface hyperplasia like pen,of nonspecial inflammation in surrounding soft tissue. Conclusions Imaging can diagnose and differentiate diagnosis juvenile disorder of spine facet joints.X-ray is also the primary method. Not only.CT or MRI image can more clearly display the changes of spine facet joints and surrounding soft tissue, but also differentiate diagnosis disc henaiation and other diseases.

0.05).Seroquel showed high incidence rate of drowsiness, dizziness and weight gain(26.1%,23.9%,17.3%),chlorpromazine showed high incidence rate of extrapyramidal side effect, pyknocardia and erect collapse(60.9%,39.1%,32.6%).CONCLUSIONS:There was no significant difference of curative effect for the treat-ment of schizophrenia between seroquel-treated group and chlorpromazine-treated group, but seroque showed low side effect and high safety.

OBJECTIVE:
To observe the short-term results of Tos modified combined approach tympanoplasty (MCAT) in chronic suppurative otitis media.
METHOD:
This study is an observational study. The data of 26 patients (28 ears) underwent MCAT were collected. The surgical techniques, complications and preoperative and postoperative air-bone gap (ABG) were analyzed.
RESULT:
Of 28 ears, 26 ears (92.86%) get dry after surgery. 3 ears (10.71%)repaired tympanic membranes and reperforate postoperatively in which 2 minimal perforations were cured to close up patient treatment. One ear develops posterosuperior retraction pocket and one ear re-occurs cholesteatoma. One ear occurs blunting in the anterior sulcus and one ear has lateralization of the tympanic membrane. There are no hearing worsen and facial nerve palsy. For hearing, the postoperative pure tone threshold is better than preoperation (42.8 +/- 17.97 vs 47.49 +/- 18.01, P < 0.05) and postoperative ABG shrinks significantly (19.76 +/- 7. 49 vs 30.65 +/- 10.02, P < 0.01).
CONCLUSION
Based on the short-term results, Tos' MCAT can successfully dissect the diseases of tympanic cavity and mastoid and develop a stable aerating middle ear with a complete hearing conduction. It is safe and feasible in the treatment of chronic suppurative otitis media, as well as in the poor-pneumatic mastoid.

National Journal of Andrology 2004;10(6):445-448
OBJECTIVETo compare the apoptosis and hemodynamic changes of the penile tissue in diabetic and healthy rats.
METHODSSixteen chronic diabetic and 10 matched normal control rats were injected with a single dose of streptozotocin (STZ) 65 mg/kg and the diabetic model established. Eight weeks later the rats were killed, their haemoglobin Alc( HbAlc) measured, and their penises harvested. TUNEL assay (in situ nick end-labeling) and flow cytometry were used to analyse the penile cells for apoptosis. The thickness and diameter of the arteries were measured.
RESULTSTUNEL showed apoptosis in the chronic diabetic rats. Flow cytometric analysis showed the apoptotic peak in the penile cells of the chronic diabetic rats when compared with the controls (P < 0.05). There was significant difference between the diabetic and healthy rats. Morphological analysis revealed that the thickness of the artery wall increased while the artery diameter decreased in the diabetes group compared with the controls.
CONCLUSIONDiabetes can lead to increasing apoptosis of the penile tissue, cause a decrease in the penile artery diameter and the thickening of the penile artery wall.
