Objective To investigate the surgery timing for patients with intermittent exotropia.Methods Far and near stereopsis of 36 patients with intermittent exotropia were measured preoperative and postoperative six months respectively,and the results were analyzed.Results Near stereopsis were measured preoperative in 30 cases (83.3％,30/36) with intermittent exotropia.But far stereopsis were measured preoperative in 7 cases (19.4％,7/36) with intermiuent exotropia.There was statistic significance (P ＜0.05).Near stereopsis were measured preoperative in 30 cases (83.3％,30/36) with intermittent exotropia and postoperative in 35 cases (97.2％,35/36).There was statistic significance (P＜0.05).Far stereopsis were measured preoperative in 7 cases (19.4％,7/36) with intermittent exotropia and postoperative in 14 cases (38.9％,14/36).There was statistic significance (P＜ 0.05).Conclusions Far stereopsis would be an important factor to choice the surgery timing for patients with intermittent exotropia.Operation is beneficial to restore far and near stereopsis.

Objective To study the relationship between plasma level of tissue factor(TF)and severity of coronary heart disease(CHD).Methods Coronary angiography was performed in 237 patients with suspected CHD,with 149 diagnosed as CHD and 88 excluded.Seventy of stenosis of coronary arteries (CA)was evaluated by modified Gensini score on the basis of angiographic imaging.Blood glucose,serum levels of total cholesterol(TC),triglycerides(TG),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),lipoprotein(a)[Lp(a)],uric acid,high sensitivity C-reactive protein(Hs-CRP),fibrinogen(FIB)and plasma level of TF were determined for all the subjects.Relationship between plasma level of TF and severity of pathological changes in CA was evaluated by linear correlation and multiple regression analyses for controlling other relevant factors.Results Plasma level of TF in patients with CHD[(138±39)ng/L]was significantly higher than that in controls[(61±19)ng/L](P＜0.01).Plasma level of TF obviously correlated with severity of pathological changes in CA(r=0.710,P＜0.01).Partial correlation analysis showed a positive correlation between plasma TF and severity of pathological changes in CA,independent of other potential influential factors,with a partial coefficient of correlation of 0.509(P＜0.01).Multiple stepwise regression analysis indicated that plasma level of TF associated with severity of pathological changes in CA,as well as with diabetes,LDL-C,Lp(a),Hs-CRP and FIB,with coefficients of correlation of 0.172,0.180,0.147,0.308 and 0.175,respectively(P＜0.05).Conclusion Elevated plasma level of TF may be one of important risk factors for CHD,which reflects severity of pathological changes in CA.

[Objective]To observe the growth pattern of oligodendrocyte precursor cells(OPCs) in the primary culture from neonatal rat cerebral cortices and study the methods of cell culture and isolation in order to obtain purified OPCs for the experiments of cell transplantation.[Method]The mixed glial cells from the cerebral cortices of 48-hour-old Sprague-Dawley(SD) rats were cultured in vitro.Until 9-10 days in vitro OPCs were isolated and purified by the shaking process and differential adhesion,and then continued OPCs culture in the defined medium.The growth pattern of OPCs in vitro was investigated by contrast phase microscopy and OPC s were further identified with the immunocytochemical techniques.[Result]The distinct stratification of OPCs and astrocytes developed around 9-10 days in primary culture.At this point,the OPCs scattered on the top of the monolayer astroctyes and the soma of most OPCs typically appeared oval or round with two or three processes.The purity of the isolated OPCs reached 95% and these OPCs further developed into the mature oligdendrocytes which were immunoreactive to the specific antigen of oligodendrocyte lineage cells,Oligo2.[Conclusion]OPCs separated from the cerebral cortices of neonatal SD rats can be maintained as immature precursor cells in culture,and OPCs are able to be purified by shaking and differential adhesion under the condition of appropriate cell stratification.

Objective:To study the direction of cervical node extracapsular spread(ECS)of oral squamous cell carcinoma(OSCC). Methods:57 cases of OSCC were treated by combined radical operation.The relationship between ECS and T stage,tumor thick-ness,differentiation degree of OSCC,lymph node size and the ECS direction in each lymph node level were statistically analysed. Results:ECS was found in 30 of the 57 cases,and in 78 of the 174 metastasis positive lymph nodes.29 ECS nodes in levelⅠ,the frequency of the shallow side was 26,the deep side 13(P=0.000 3).But the difference in other levels was not statistically signifi-cant(P>0.05).It was not statistically significant between the incidence of ECS and T stage;it was statistically significant between the incidence of ECS and tumor thickness(P<0.05),tumor differentiation degree(P<0.05)and the lymph node size(P<0.01). Conclusion:ECS of OSCC on the shallow side is more than that in the deep side of lymph nodes in levelⅠ.ECS is positively corre-lated with the tumor thickness of OSCC,metastasied lymph node size;negatively related to the differentiation degree of OSCC.

Objective To explore the viral etiology of acute respiratory tract infections in Nanping area .Methods A total of 3 572 patients ,suffered from acute respiratory tract infections from December 2012 to December 2014 were enrolled in the study .Sev‐en common respiratory viruses were detected by direct immunofluorescence assay ,including influenza A virus(IA) ,influenza B virus (IB) ,adenovirus (ADV) ,respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) ,arainfluenza type Ⅰ (P1) ,arainfluenza type Ⅱ (P2) ,arainfluenza typeⅢ (P3) .Results In total 3 572 samples ,509 samples were virus positive (14 .25% ) .Among them ,507 positive samples were single virus infections and 7 positive samples were double virus infections .RSV infection(9 .38% ) ,P3 infection(2 .32% ) and IA infection (1 .09% ) rates were the top three .Conclusion RSV was the main viral pathogen among 7 common respiratory viruses with obvious seasonal periodicity .Children′s immunity is low and need to prevent respiratory viral infections .

Objective To observe the clinic efficacy of Shenling Baizhu Pill on patients with irritable bowel syndrome(IBS).Methods Ninety patients with IBS were collected and divided into Chinese patent medicine group and western medicine group by random number method,45 patients in each group,the Chinese patent medicine group received Shenling Baizhu pill group treatment,the western medicine group was gave Smectite Powder treatment.The changes of clinical symptoms,intestinal tract microorganism and serum inflammatory factor of patients were observed and compared between two groups before and after treatment.The clinical symptoms was evaluated by questionnaire, the Lactobacillus,Bifidobacterium,enterobacteria and yeast were determined by cultivation,the levels of IL -10,IL -18 and TNF -αwere detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Results Two groups before treat-ment of anaerobic bacteria in feces reduction,aerobic bacteria increased serum IL -18 and TNF -alpha content, increased,the content of IL -10 decreased.Shenling Baizhu Pill intervention for 8 weeks in patients with intestinal anaerobic bacteria[(B/E 1.07 ±0.49)]and serum IL -10[(43.65 ±9.52)mg/L]content increased,aerobic bacte-ria[(B/E 1.07 ±0.49)],IL -18[(82.06 ±21.07)mg/L]and TNF -alpha[(28.44 ±10.20)mg/L]decreased. The IL -18 decreased the most,was different with the western medicine group,there was a statistical significance(t =9.926,P <0.01).Two groups had no bad reaction.Conclusion Shenling Baizhu Pill can effectively regulates and improves the intestinal micro -environment,promote the growth of intestinal probiotics and remodeling the intestinal function of biological barrier,decrease the levels of proinflammatory factors and rise the anti -inflammatory factors level,which has a good clinic effect in treating IBS.

Objective To evaluate the importance of the prenatal diagnosis to fetus with mild ventriculomegaly ( MVM) in pregnancy outcome and prognosis. Methods The ultrosonographic results of 51 pregnant women who were admitted to our hospital were collected in this study. In each case,a thorough evaluation of fetal anatomy was performed,karyotyping or MRI was done if needed,and follow-up was done un-til afterbirth. Results In 51 cases of lateral ventriculomegaly fetal:ultrasonography indicated there were 26 fetuses with mild ventriculomega-ly. The incidence of MVM complicated with other abnormities was 46. 0%,and that complicated with chromosome disorder was 11. 5%. Con-clusion Ultrasonography plays an important role in the detection of MVM. Chromosome analysis should be carried out for elder pregnant women when their fetuses are diagnosed as MVM and other complicating abnormities.

This study examined the effects of arsenic trioxide on apoptosis and interleukin4 release in T cells of asthmatic patients in vitro and investigated the role of Bcl2 in the active mechanism. Tcells were isolated from asthmatic patients (n=21) and healthy controls (n=20), and then treated with arsenic trioxide and dexamethasone. Cell apoptosis was measured using fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry and a cytochrome c ELISA kit. Interleukin4 levels in the serum and in supernatants from T cells were quantified by ELISA. Flow cytometric analysis and immunofluorescence studies were performed to determine Bcl 2 expression. Tcells of the asthmatic patients (I.e. without treatment) exhibited decelerated spontaneous apoptosis after 24 h incubation in vitro when compared to T cells of the healthy controls. With dexamethasone treatment, an increase in apoptosis of Tcells was not significantly different between both groups, irrespective of the method used. Arsenic trioxide treatment, however, significantly increased the apoptosis of T cells of the asthmatic group and showed a slight effect on the control group. In asthmatic patients, elevated levels of interleukin 4 and upregulated Bcl 2 expression were detected. Moreover, in vitro, T cells of asthmatic patients spontaneously released more interleukin4 and exhibited more Bcl 2 expression than T cells from the control group. Arsenic trioxide treatment significantly decreased interleukin4 release and downregulated Bcl 2 expression in asthmatic patients, while it only slightly affected healthy controls. Dexamethasone treatment decreased interleukin4 release in both groups examined. It did not significantly influence Bcl2 expression. These results suggest that arsenic trioxide induces T cell apoptosis and decreases interleukin4 release in T cells of asthmatic patients in vitro and that downregulation of Bcl2 expression may be an important mechanism.
