Objective To explore the different concentrations of glycyrrhizin on hepatic stellate cell proliferation and its regulation mechanism.MethodsHepatic stellate cell proliferation rate of three different concentrations of glycyrrhizin was detected by MTT assay. The expression of cyclin E was detected by immunocytochemistry.ResultsMTT assay was used to detect the cell proliferation inhabitation in different concentration groups, from control group 0.8 mg/L glycyrrhizin group to 1.2 mg/L glycyrrhizin group and 1.6 mg/L glycyrrhizin group. The cell proliferation inhibited rates were 0,2.73%,14.75 % and 25.96%.The difference was significant (P<0.05).The numbers of Cyclin E positive cells in different concentrations of glycyrrhizin group were significantly different compared with control group, and it was concentration dependently decreased (P<0.01).ConclusionsGlycyrrhizin concentration dependently inhibited rat hepatic stellate cells proliferation and it could reduce the expression of cyclin E and inhibit the proliferation of rat hepatic stellate cells.

OBJECTIVE: To provide references for the practice of the zero inventory management mode in hospital drug supply storeroom.METHODS: The zero inventory management mode in hospital drug supply storeroom was summarized based on experiences of hospital drug supply storeroom management in our hospital.RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS: After introduction of zero inventory management principle in hospital drug supply storeroom, the drug turnover frequency in our hospital reached 8~9 times every quarter, which has greatly lowered drug storage costs, activated the working capital, and brought down the proportion of drug fund to as low as about 15% of total hospital working capital. Therefore, establishing a reasonable managing mode suitable to hospital condition and applying zero inventory principle in the management of hospital drug supply storeroom are of importance for lowering hospital running cots and enhancing working efficiency.

OBJECTIVE:To construct a high-efficiency, high-performance, low-cost flow of drug purchasing. METHODS: The defects involved in the current drug purchasing flowsheet prevalent in many hospitals were analyzed and the optimized flowsheet was put into practice by combining the actuality of our hospital. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS: The traditional drug purchasing modality can not meet the requirement of current hospitals in that it involves large work load and high probability of error, and it is tedious and time-consuming. The establishment of drug catalog database and the online drug purchase by means of instant communication software can help simplify drug purchase flow, lessen work load, enhance work efficiency, and effectuate a high-efficiency, high-performance, low-cost flow of drug purchasing.

Chinese Journal of General Practitioners 2018;17(8):621-625
Objective:
To survey the ways of acquiring and the needs of requiring disease-related knowledge among patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
Methods:
A total of 376 IBD patients visiting the special clinic in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine from May 2013 to March 2016 participated in a questionnaire survey. The self-designed questionnaire included general information, hospital visits and internet use of the IBD patients.
Results:
Totally 359 valid questionnaires were returned with a recovery rate of 95.5% (359/376). Among the participants there were 226 men and 133 women with a mean age of 41.8 years (14- 88 years); and 199 cases of Crohn disease (55.4%) and 160 cases of ulcerative colitis 44.6%. The main methods of acquiring IBD-related knowledge were information from IBD specialist (77.7%, 279/359) and using the internet (59.3%, 213/359). The most frequently searched itemsin internet werelong-term prognosis (97.2%, 207/213), medical treatment (76.1%, 162/213), etiology (58.2%, 124/213) and nutrition treatment (51.6%, 110/213); 96.6% (347/359) patients showed strong interest in keeping close connection with IBD specialist and 89.0% (319/359) wanted to join a IBD club.
Conclusion
IBD patients show strong interest indisease-related knowledge, which they acquire most from the doctors and the internet, IBD specialists are expected to provide the detailed health education for patients.
