Neovascularization plays an essential role in the process of renovation in tissue damage,tumor growth, and hormones action. Parathyroid hormone (PTH) is one of the basic hormones that regulate the serum calcium, phosphorus, and bone metabolism. In recent years, studies involving the neovascularization-mediated effects of PTH on metabolism are becoming more and more popular and wider. Based on recent researches, the purpose of this paper is to summarize the changes of angiogenesis while PTH interacts with its target organs, especially interacts with osseous tissue.

Objective To discuss the application value of multi- position radiography in the diagnosis for fracture of rib.Methods 98 cases with integrated data of thoracic trauma undergone multi- position view X-ray from 2007 to 2009 were retrospectively reviewed.Results The percent of fractures with orthophoria view is 65.4%.The percents of fractures with oblique position,tangential projection and spot film under the X-ray fluoroscopy are 20.6%、5.1% 、8.8%,while doesn' t find the A-P position,The total percent is 34.6%.Conclusion Multi-position radiography can elevate the diagnosis for fracture of rib and has application value.

Objective:To explore the necessity of monitoring polysomnography (PSG ) in snoring children.Method:The PSG were monitored in 162 children with snoring or apnea.Acording to results of PSG,162 cases were separated into two groups:group obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS) and group primary snoring(PS),monitoring data including:apnea hypopnea index(AHI),snoring index(SI),lowest oxygen saturation(LSaO_2) and time of SaO_2<0.9,all data were undertaked statistical analysis. Result:In all 162 snoring cases,150 cases(92.6%) belong to group OSAHS,12 cases(7.4%) belong to group PS;Differences of data of age,sex and body mass index(BMI) are not significant but that of AHI,SI,LSaO_2 and time of SaO_2<0.9 are significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:It's necessary to monitor PSG in snoring children for early diagnosis and correct treatment to avoid disadvantage of OSAHS.

OBJECTIVE: To study the equilibrium solubility of aesculin and its apparent oil/water partition coefficient,and to provide basis for absorption mechanism study.METHODS: Equilibrium solubility of aesculin at the pH of 1.2～8.0 was determined by saturation method.The apparent oil/water partition coefficients of aesculin were determined by shaking flask method.RESULTS: The equilibrium solubility of aesculin at the pH of 1.2～6.8 was fluctuated slightly;it increased rapidly at the pH of 7.4;the maximum equilibrium solubility of aesculin was obtained at the pH of 8.0(10.58 g?L-1).The oil/water partition coefficient of aesculin changed slowly at the pH of 1.2～6.0;it decreased significantly at the pH of 6.0;the minimum oil/water partition coefficient was obtained at the pH of 8.0(0.03).CONCLUSIONS: The equilibrium solubility of aesculin and its apparent oil/water partition coefficient are associated with the pH of medium.The reason that aesculin has no effect on uric acid after oral administration is relevant to poor gastrointestinal tract absorption ability.

BACKGROUND: Senility is the degenerative change of every tissue and organ in biological body,which is the result due to comprehensive actions of various pathological and physiological processes. Rhodiola is a kind of natural medical plant,acting on delaying organic senility,preventing and treating senile disorders,etc. But the definite mechanisms on those have been unknown yet.OBJECTIVE: To probe into the mechanism of rhodiola extract( nuodikang capsule) on anti-senility.DESIGN: Randomized,controlled experimental research based on the experimental animals.SETTING: Neurological internal department in a military hospital affiliated to a university of Chinese PLA.MATERIALS: The experiment was performed in Pathology Experiment Room of Fourth Military Medical University of Chinese PLA from March to August 2002. Sixty Kunming mice were randomized into normal control group,model group,3 dosage groups of 1,2,4 g/kg of nuodikang successively and Vitamin E(Vit. E) positive control group 0. 1 mg/kg,10 mice in each group.INTERVENTIONS: In the model,nuodikang groups and Vit. E positive control,physiological saline solution of D-galactose 30 g/Lwas applied in subcutaneous at the back of neck,150 mg/kg per day,continuously for 8weeks. Simultaneously,in nuodikang group and Vit. E positive control,the medicine was applied by gastric perfusion,once daily,continuously for 8weeks.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Effects of nuodikang capsule on activity of lactate dehydrogenase(LDH),the content of lipidperoxides(LPO),the activity of superoxide dismutase(SOD) in the brain,the content of malondialdehyde (MDA) and ultrastructure of mitochondrion in hippocampal neurons.RESULTS: In nuodikang capsule groups of 1,2,4 g/kg,the significant differences(P ＜ 0.05) presented in LPO content in brain tissue[(30. 1±2.9),(27.8±3.1),(26.9±1.9) nmol/g] and MDA content [(110.2±13.5),(95.4±20.1),(90.2±16.5) nmol/g],1 compared with the model group[ (33.4 ± 2.2),(126.5 ± 17.2) nmol/g],indicating significant differences(P ＜ 0.05),and LDH activity[(1.74±0. 14),(1.92 ±0. 23),(2.04 ±0.21) NU/g] and SOD activity[ (119. 1 ±2.2),(121.3 ± 0.9),(126.4 ± 2.0) NU/g] were remarkably increased,compared with the model group[ (1.68 ±0. 19),(115.9 ±2. 1) NU/g],indicating significant differences( P ＜ 0.05) . It was indicated by electro-microscope that nuodikang capsule groups of 2,4 g/kg acted on obvious protection on degenerative change of mitochondrion in hippocampal neurons caused by galactose.CONCLUSION: Nuodikang capsule acts significantly on anti-senility,which is related to its anti-oxidative injury and protection on neurons.

Objective To discuss the influence of Yifei-Kangxin capsule on MMP-1 in Wistar rats model with pulmonary heart disease. Methods 40 Wistar rats with pulmonary heart disease were averagely grouped as Normal Group, Model Group, Therapeutic Group and Comparative Group randomly by weight. The rats in Therapeutic Group were given Yifei-Kangxin capsule and the rats in Comparative Group were given Nifedipine. The course of treatment was 15 days. The rats were killed at the next 7th, 14th and 28th day separately to test MMP-1 in pulmonary tissue. Results After the treatment, the expression of MMP-1 in pulmonary tissue of the Therapeutic Group[7 d, 14 d, 28 d was(0.231±0.017)ng/m、(0.308±0.081)ng/m、(0.358±0.074)ng/m]was lower than the Model Group[7 d, 14 d, 28 d was(0.266±0.036)ng/m 、(0.315± 0.060)ng/m、(0.612±0.091)ng/m]. Conclusion Yifei-Kangxin capsule can inhibit the expression of MMP-1 in the rats model pulmonary heart disease.

Objective To analyze the survival statistics and perioperative parameters of clinical stage Ⅰ non-small cell lung cancer patients who received systemic or selective mediastinal lymphadenectomy,and explore the value of selective mediastinal lymphadenectomy for clinical stage Ⅰ non-small cell lung cancer.Methods The clinical data of 984 patients with clinical stage Ⅰ non-small cell lung cancer who underwent lobectomy and systemic/selective lymph node dissection in Zhongshan Hospital from January 2005 to December 2010 were analyzed retrospectively.There were 581 males and 403 females with an average age of(59.6 ± 10.2) (24-84) years.786 patients received systemic mediastinal lymphadenectomy,and 198 patients received selective mediastinal lymphadenectomy.Results Average operation time of selective mediastinal lymphadenectomy group was(132.3 ±30.3) minutes,and that of systemic mediastinal lymphadenectomy group was(150.7 ±41.8) minutes with significant difference(P ＜ 0.01).Average amount of intraoperative bleeding of selective mediastinal lymphadenectomy group was (96.2 ± 53.5) ml,and that of systemic mediastinal lymphadenectomy group was (124.4 ± 65.4) ml with significant difference(P ＜0.01).There was no significant difference in overall survival rate between two groups(P =0.844).Recurrence rates were 25.3 ％ and 27.5 ％,respectively (P =0.533).Subgroup analysis showed no significant difference of 5-year survival rates between the two groups.Conclusion For patients with clinical stage Ⅰ non-small cell lung cancer,selective mediastinal lymphadenectomy can reduce operation time and amount of intraoperative bleeding.Survival of patients who received selective mediastinal lymphadenectomy was no worse than that of patients who received systemic mediastinal lymphadenectomy.

Objective To observe the clinical effect of recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor gel combined with esberitox for recurrent oral ulcer.Methods Forty-six patients with recurrent oral ulcer were divided into treatment group of 22 patients and control group of 24 patients by random digits table method.The patients in treatment group were given recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor gel and esberitox.The patients in control group were given the watermelon frost spray only.After treatment for 1 week,the curative effect was compared.Results The cure rate in treatment group was 90.9％ (20/22),which was significantly higher than that in control group (66.7％,16/24),and there was significant difference (P ＜0.05).The time of pain vanish,oral ulcer decrease,oral ulcer healing in treatment group were significantly shorter than those in control group,and there were significant differences (P ＜0.05).Conclusions Recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor gel combined with esberitox for recurrent oral ulcer can promote ulcer healing,shorten the course of disease,and has no adverse reaction.It is worthy of applying in clinic.
