Objective To explore the mode of psychological and behavior intervention which suitable for convalescent cancer patients, and evaluate its clinical effects in order to provide empirical basis for nursing care of cancer patients. Methods havior intervention condition. All the patients were evaluated by General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES),ProfiIe of Mood States-Short Form(POMS-SF) and Quality of Life Questionnaire-Core 30(QLQ-C30)before and after the intervention. Result Compared with the control group, the scores of self-efficacy and quality of life were significantly improved in the experimental group (P< 0.01),while the total score and factor scores of POMS-SF such as tension-anxiety (TA),anxiety-hostility(AH),fatigne-inertia (FI),and confusion-babelism(CB)were significantly decreased(P<0.05). Conclusion Psychological and behavior intervention is proved to be feasible and effective to improve the mental health status,self-efficacy and quality of life in convalescent cancer patients.

Modern Clinical Nursing 2015;(2):1-5
Objective To investigate the tendency of diapause symptoms in breast cancer patients during their chemotherapy. Method Sixty-four breast cancer patients with chemotherapy participated in the study by using Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI), the cancer fatigue scale (CFS), the self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and the self-rating depression scale (SDS) to assess their sleep, fatigue, anxiety and depression at every first day from the second course to sixth one of chemotherapy. Results The diapause symptoms including fatigue, sleep disorders, anxiety and depression varied with the therapeutic course progressing. The conditions in sleep quality, fatigue and depression were the poorest at the diapause of the fourth course and the condition of anxiety was the poorest at the diapause of the third course. Conclusion The medical staff should attach importance to the patients'physical and mental problems brought by the process of chemotherapy, strengthen the regulation of psychosomatic symptoms during chemotherapic diapause, and give reasonable control and intervention before the symptoms deteriorating.

OBJECTIVEA surgical procedure was developed to improve the operative results for bilateral mandibular prominence with microgenia.
METHODSThrough an oral approach the bilateral prominent mandibular angles were resected using the technique of continuous curve-line ostectomy with the masseteric muscle intact. Meanwhile, the chin was elongated and moved forward by horizontal osteotomy. The distal part of the chin was rigid fixed with miniplates and screws, and the bone gaps were filled with autogenous bone of the resected mandibular angle.
RESULTSFrom November 1996 to August 1999, 20 cases of bilateral mandibular angle prominence with microgenia were corrected with this procedure. The postoperative appearance was improved greatly after 3-6 months. The lower face was not only narrowed but elongated, and consequently in harmony with the upper and middle face.
CONCLUSIONBilateral continuous curve-line mandibular angle ostectomy together with chin osteotomy and autogenous bone graft is a good procedure for the management of the above-mentioned deformities.

Objective:
To analyze the activation of brain regions associated with olfactory in patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) by olfactory functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).
Methods:
Twenty six patients with MCI were compared with twenty six controls in the dementia center of Tianjin HuanHu hospital in terms of olfactory function T&T testing, the differences between the activation of the whole brain and region of interest associated with olfactory (bilateral primary olfactory cortex(POC), bilateral hippocampus, bilateral orbital frontal gyrus) by olfactory stimulator using event correlation design for olfactory fMRI scanning. To analyze the correlation between the number of activator in POC and the threshold of olfactory discriminate as well as the severity of cognitive impairment.SPSS 19.0 software was used for the statistical analysis.
Results:
T&T olfactory testing revealed that MCI patients had higher scores than controls (3.57±1.29 (
