In order To evaluate whether the parameters of spiral artery blood flow, as measured by transvaginal color Doppler, may be used to assess endometrium receptivity prior to embryo transfer (ET), a retrospective study of 94 infertile women who had undergone ART treatments with different outcomes (pregnant or nonpregnant) was done. Subendometrial blood flow was evaluated. The resistance index (RI), systolic/diastolic ratio (S/D) and pulsatility index (PI) were significantly lower in those who achieved pregnancy as compared with those who did not: 0.62+/-0.04 vs 0.68+/-0.04 (P<0.001), 2.66+/-0.33 vs 3.19+/-0.39 (P<0.01) and 1.15+/-0.17 vs 1.34+/-0.22 (P<0. 05), respectively. Furthermore, when RI>0. 2, PI>1. , and S/D>3. , no pregnancy occurred. These data suggest that the parameters of spiral artery blood flow could be used as a new assay in predicting endometrial receptivity before ET.

Objective To evaluate the clinical value of laparoscopic uItrasonography ( LUS) in u-rinary laparoscopic surgery .Methods In 6 cases of urological laparoscopic surgery , laparoscopic ultra-sound examination were taken , including 3 cases of simple renal cysts , 1 case of adrenal pheochromocyto-ma, 2 cases of hamartoma , were excised under the LUS guidance and the results were compared with the traditional simple laparoscopic surgery .Results With laparoscopic uItrasonography guidance , the bounda-ry and blood supply of cyst or tumor could be shown more clearly compared with trans -abdominal ultrasound . We could differ the tumors from dilated pelvis and renal calices , So the damage to the collecting system and renal blood vessels were avoided .With LUS guidance , tumors were excised more completely , so that re-mained tumor tissues would be avoided and normal renal tissues would be protected .Conclusion LUS may provide more precise surgical information and may play an important role guiding laparoscopic operation in urinary surgery .

BACKGROUND: Splenic autotransplantation has been presently involved in the treatment of traumatic splenic rupture. Yhere have been retoorts regarding nuclein examination and immunologic test used to monitor splenic autotransplant. But little is known about ultrasonic visualization for follow up of splenic autotransplant. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the value of ultrasonography in monitoring splenic autotransplant survival and growth. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: The present retrospective case analysis Was performed at the Department of Ultrasonography. Shenzhen Second People's Hospital between January 2000 and December 2004.PARTICIPANTS:Eighteen patients undergoing splenectomy and suffering from traumatic splenic rupture,13 males and 5 females. aged 20-42 years, were included for this study. METHODS: Non-injured autologous splenic tissue was prepared into thin sections with an area of(2-4)cm×(1-3)cm and a thickness of≤0.5 cm. And transplanted into the greater omentum with abundant vessels in patients undergoing splenectomy.A1118 patients received ultrasonography at 3,6,and 12 months after splenic transplantation, and were subjected to spleen imaging with99Tcm-heat damaged red blood cells. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Nuclein examination of splenic autotransplant survival and growth. RESULTS: Splenic autotransplants survived and gradually grew in 14 of 18 patients. Splenic autotransplants exhibited low level echo similar to normal spleen, regular contour, clear boundary, and visible internal blood flow signal. Splenic autotransplants were not found growing in 4 patients with accessory spleen. CONCLUSION: Ultrasonography can precisely monitor splenic autotransplant survival and growth.

Objective To probe the value of ultrasound in detection of malignant foci among multiple thyroid nodules. Methods Ultrasonograms of 83 patients with pathologically confirmed thyroid cancer combined with benign nodules were analyzed. Results Among 83 patients of thyroid carcinoma, 89 malignant and 87 benign nodules were detected with ultrasound. Significant differences of two-dimensional ultrasounic signs including low echoes, border fuzzy, micro-calcification and rear echo attenuation were found bteween malignant and benign nodules (P<0.01). There were significant differences in the grade Ⅱ, Ⅲ blood flow between malignant and benign ones (P<0.01). Of 89 malignant nodules, small thyroid carcinoma with diameter ≤1 cm accounted for 52.81% (47/89), and ultrasound diagnostic rate of all cancer nodules was 67.42% (60/89).Conclusion Ultrasounic characteristics including low echoes, border fuzzy, micro-calcification, rear echo attenuation and internal rich blood flow contribute to differentiate the thyroid microcarcinoma from multinodules. In particular, the microcarcinoma should not be ignored.

We investigated the molecular characteristics of the full-length genome of 14 dengue serotype 1 virus (DENV-1)strains isolated in Sino-Myanmar border region in Yunnan Province,China during 2013-2015.Isolation of dengue virus was using C6/36 cell culture method.Viral RNA was extracted from virus isolates, and then the full-length genome was amplified by RT-PCR.The homology and phylogenetic analysis was made on the nucleotide and deduced amino acid sequences by bioinformatics software including ClastalX1.83 and MEGA6 etc. Results showed that fourteen strains of DENV-1 isolated from dengue fever cases,of these,9 strains from Ruili City of Dehong Prefecture,3 from Lincang Prefecture,2 from Kunming City.RT-PCR and sequencing indicated that the full-length genes (10 735 nt) of 14 DENV-1 strains were obtained, and their open reading frame (95-10 271) were coded 3 392 amino acid residues. The genotypes of DENV-1 were revealed by homology and phylogenetic analysis based on structural and non-structural proteins.Thirteen were genotype Ⅰ (G-Ⅰ) (7 from indigenous cases in Ruili and Lincang and 6 from imported case from Myanmar to Ruili,Lincang and Kunming),and 1 G-Ⅲ from imported case from India to Kunming. The phylogenic analysis indicated that the 13 isolates from Yunnan divided into 2 phylogenic subgroups, and they had a closer genetic relationship with the strains isolated from Southeast Asia. The gene sequences of the 13 G-Ⅰ strains have been acquired, the rate of their nucleotide homology and amino acid homology were 97.02 %-100 % and 98.78 %100 % respectively.Compared with 6 strains from Southeast Asia, nucleotide homology and amino acid homology were 96.53%-99.53% and 97.33%-100% respectively.Compared with prototype strain (US_Hawaii) of DENV-1,nucleotide homology and amino acid homology were 93.76%-94.45 % and 95.86 %-96.91% respectively.Compared with US_Hawaii strain, there were 44 and 150 different sites in amino acid of structural and non-structural proteins, respectively. The G-1 of DENV-1 have been popular in Sino-Myanmar border region in Yunnan,2013-2015.They have genetic diversity but multiple transmission sources were from Myanmar, and should strengthen control cross-border spread of dengue fever in this region. It is necessary to further study that change of the amino acid sites of Yunnan strains of DENV-1 is related to its antigenicity and pathogenicity.
