Objective To evaluate the guiding effect of CT software to reduce the postoperative syndrome and surgery risk in patients with sinus disease performed the functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS). Methods Fifty patients of accessory sinus disease were scanned by spinal CT, and then three dimensions reconstruction made in workstation. Under center of ethmoid sinus ,the five groups of anatomy data measured were obtained , used to guide surgery and contrasted with result of no used to guide surgery in 68 patients in FESS. The data were performed the statistical management and compared with results of FESS. Results Under guided by five groups of anatomy data measured ,the postoperative syndrome was reduced by 16.0 percent; the curative effect went up by 15.0 percent; the pay for hospital was reduced 31.0 percent and the recurrence rate was reduced 8.6 percent. Conclusion Used the technic in FESS, the surgery risk, the recurrence rate and pay for hospital are reduced, but the curative effect go up. The technic is much adapt to be used in village and towns hospital where there aren′t navigation equipment.

Objective To explore the effect of Ginkgo biloba extract (EGb761) on apoptosis of K-ras mutational human colon cancer cells DLD1(DLD1/G13D)and its mechanism. Methods Human colon cancer cell lines DLD1/G13D and DLD1 with K-ras wild type(DLD1/WT)were cultured in vitro, the cell proliferation and apoptosis after 24 h of EGb761 were measured. Proteins involved in related signal pathway were detected by Western blot or ELISA. Results EGb761 reduced cell proliferation and induced cell apoptosis in a concentration-dependent manner in DLD1/WT and DLD1/G13D cells. EGb761 downregulated the expression of RIP1, impaired the phosphorylation of IκB and decreased the level of NF-κB in DLD1/WT and DLD1/G13D cells[DLD1/G13D: (24±4)%, DLD1/WT: (29±9)%(P<0.05). Conclusion EGb761 restrains the proliferation and induces the apoptosis of DLD1/WT and DLD1/G13D cells. The mechanism may be related to the degradation of RIP-1 and inhibition of activation of NF-κB signaling pathway.

Objective :
To investigate the role of squalene epoxidase (SQLE) knockout in anti-tumor effect vial im- proving CD8 + T cell infiltration in melanoma tumor microenvironment.
Methods :
Both immunodeficient and immu- nocompetent mice were inoculated with SQLE knockout B16F10 cells to determine the cell-autonomous and non-au- tonomous regulation of malignancy.Antibody blockade ,Luminex multiplex assays ,and flow cytometry were em- ployed to explore the impact of SQLE gene knockout on the secretion of cytokines / chemokines and immune cell in- filtration.Bioinformatics analysis was conducted to validate the correlation between SQLE expression and immune infiltration as well as clinical prognosis in melanoma patients.
Results :
Compared with immunodeficient mice, SQLE knockout significantly inhibited melanoma proliferation in immunocompetent mice and prolonged their surviv- al.SQLE knockout induced the secretion of cytokines and chemokines from tumor cells, improved CD8 + T cell in- filtration in the tumor microenvironment, thereby potentiating anti-tumor immunity.Bioinformatics analysis sugges- ted a significant correlation between SQLE and its corresponding immune infiltration markers with the prognosis of melanoma patients.
Conclusion
SQLE regulates anti-tumor immunity by controlling cytokines and chemokines re- leasing in tumor microenvironment, thus holding promise as a novel tumor immunotherapy target and efficacy predic- tion molecular indicator.
