33 cases were treated by spotted—moxibustionwith Zhuang medicated threads,the effective rate be-ing 84.6~85.0%.The longterm effect was also satis-factory.This therapy can also markedly raised the in-filtration pressure of nocturnal urination.There wasno obvious relation between the therapeutic effect andsyndrome typing.
2.The facture and application of a new type of bedpan

Objective Our objective was to design a new type of bedpan (inflatable, bed urinal) and compare its effect with common bedpan. Methods We divided 144 patients with bone fracture and lying in bed into the test group and the control group with 72 cases in each group from May 2006 to February 2007. Inflatable bed urinals were used in the test group and common bedpans were used in the control group. The pain alleviation, comfort degree, staining of bed sheet and skin injury were observed and evaluated in each group. Results Application of inflatable bed urinal was superior to common bedpan in the following aspects: alleviation of pain, comfort degree, staining of bed sheets and skin injury. Conclusions Adoption of inflatable bed urinal could alleviate pain, prevent the incidence of complication and reduce the workload of nurses.
3.Effect of puncture needles with different diameter on percutaneous biopsy for transplant kidney under ultrasound guidance

Objective To compare the effect of puncture needles with different diameter on percutaneous biopsy for transplant kidney under ultrasound guidance. Methods A total of 82 cases underwent percutaneous renal biopsy for transplant kidney under ultrasound guidance,and were divided into two groups based on the diameters of puncture needles, Group 18 G (n =31)and Group 16 G (n =51).The effect of biopsy and complications were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with Group18 G,Group16 G used less puncture needles and obtained more glomeruli (both P <0.01).The qualified rate of renal specimens in Group 16 G was significantly higher than that of Group 18 G(P <0.05). There was no significant difference in postoperative complications between the two groups (P >0.05 ).Further stratified comparison was conducted,and the results showed that complications of the two groups were not statistically significant in case of puncture with 2 needles or 3 needles (both P >0.05). Conclusions There is similar safety of 16 G puncture needle and 18 G puncture needle to perform renal biopsies under ultrasound guidance.Under the allowable condition of patients,16 G puncture needle is superior to 18 G puncture needle and realizes high quality of renal specimens.
4.The protective mechanisms of hippocampal neurons on RhoA/ROCK2 pathway mediated by Rho kinase inhibitors in vascular dementia rats

Objective To investigate the protective mechanism of Rho protein kinase 2 (ROCK2) inhibitor constructed based on adeno-associated virus vector on vascular dementia (VaD) rat hippocampal neurons.Methods Forty SD rats were randomly divided into sham operation group,model group,ROCK2 interference group (shROCK2),negative control group.The VaD model was prepared by permanent ligation of bilateral common carotid arteries.AAV9-ROCK2-shRNA was injected into the hippocampus of the rat by stereotaxic technique,the negative control group was injected with the same amount of empty vector adeno-associated virus.After 4 weeks,morris water maze was used to test the learning and memory abilities of rats.RT-PCR and Western blot were used to detect the mRNA and protein expression levels of RhoA,ROCK2,MLC,MLCP.Results Four weeks after operation.The mRNA and protein expressions of the above 4 indicators in hippocampus increased (P<0.01),the synaptic vesicles disappeared,and the structure of hippocampus was chaotic in the model group.Compared with the model and control group,the learning and memory ability of rats in ROCK2 interference group was significantly improved,the mRNA and protein of the above 4 indicators were significantly decreased (P<0.05),and the pre-synaptic vesicles were normal and the organelles were more complete.Conclusion Rho protein kinase 2 inhibitors can reduce the expression of downstream related proteins by inhibiting RhoA/ROCK2 signaling pathway,then promote neuronal axon regeneration and alleviate cognitive dysfunction of VaD rats.
