Objective In order to know the proper prevention and nursing measures for postoperative hemorrhage among patients with tyroid surgery. Methods Analized the medical history of 19 patients with postoperative hemorrhage after thyroid surgery retrospectively. Results The 19 patients with postoperative hemorrhage were all recovery smoothly by careful nursing and proper treatment. Conclusions Uncomplete intraoperative hemostasis, intraoperative breathholding and improper placement of drainage structures are the risk factors for postoperative hemorrhage. Careful postoperative observation and nursing can avoid certain postoperative hemorrhage.

Objective To identify nurses' practice of 5A's smoking cessation intervention in clinical settings of Beijing.Methods A cross-sectional survey was conducted among 248 nurses by convenient sampling.The questionnaire included the frequency of nurses' practice of 5A's intervention and its influencing factors,nurses' self evaluation of competency,and tobacco-related curricula in school of nursing.Results Most nurses implemented “advice” and “evaluated the patients' smoking history and current status” more frequently,but nurses' practice of other interventions was dissatisfactory.The belief that smokers could benefit from quitting was facilitating,however the barriers included no motivations to quit smoking,heavy work,and the belief that helping smokers to quit is not the priority in nursing routine.The nurses got insufficient knowledge about smoking cessation through school education and in-service training (12.8％).Conclusions There's a big gap between the implementation of nurses' smoking cessation intervention,accepted smoking cessation education,smoking cessation intervention competency and the urgent demands to help patients quit smoking.

Objective To study the clinical efficacy of treatment of atrophic scars of facial hemangioma after isotopes radiotherapy with micro-plasma.Methods A total of 52 patients with atrophic scars were selected under micro-plasma treatment for 4 times,one time every six weeks.And their efficacies were evaluated by compared with single standard of that before and after the treatment.Results By means of rate of clinical index,the total effective rate of atrophic scars was 82.7％.The degree of improvement was as follows:cured in 53.8％,marked effective in 28.9％,effective in 17.3％ and no case ineffective.The total effective rate of hyperpigmentation was 90.3％,including cured in 59.6％,marked effective in 30.8％,effective in 9.6％ and no ineffective cases.Conclusions Micro-plasma is an effective therapy for atrophic scars of facial hemangioma after isotopes radiotherapy,which can significantly improve the depression degree of scars,eliminate the hyperpigmentation and improve the color of scars,but it only has adverse reactions of wound pain and postoperative wound erythema.

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of transcutaneous acupoint electrical nerve stimulation (TEAS) in treating post-stroke fatigue.Method A total of 80 patients with post-stroke fatigue were randomized into a treatment group and a control group, 40 cases in each group. The control group was intervened by conventional post-stroke treatment, while the treatment group by TEAS in addition to the intervention given to the control group. The treatment was given once a day, 7 d as a treatment course, successively for 2 treatment courses with 1-d interval between the two courses. The National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) and Fatigue Severity Scale (FSS) were observed before and after the treatment.Result After 2 treatment courses, the NIHSS and FSS scores in the treatment group were significantly different from those before the treatment (P<0.05). The NIHSS and FSS scores in the treatment group were significantly different from those in the control group after 2 treatment courses (P<0.05). Conclusion TEAS can effectively alleviate the symptoms of post-stroke fatigue and promote the recovery.

Objective We discussed the nursing of patients with superior mesenteric artery syndrome (SMAS) through duodenal circular drainage operation. Methods We carried out a retrospective analysis for 42 SMAS patients undergoing duodenal circular drainage operation from. 1959 to 2007. They were given preoperative psychological nursing, correct lying style, postoperative nutritional support and health education instruction. The treatment effect was observed. Results All patients cured and left hospital. The treatment effect was good after one to fifteen years of follow-up visit. Five patients who changed to adopt duodenal circular drainage operation also got good result after nine to ten years of follow-up visit. The incidence of anastomotic ulcer and anastomotic stenosis as well as reflux gastritis was not seen. Conclusion SMAS could be cured earlier through duodenal circular drainage operation and effective nursing.

Objective To analysis the effect of metformin on the expression of heat shock protein and VEGF in 5637 cell line of bladder cancer. Methods 5637 cell line of bladder cancer were selected, divided into blank control group, metformin 2 mM group, 5 mM group, 10 mM group and 20 mM group, 5637 cell line of bladder cancer were treated in each group.The cell proliferation inhibition rate was detected by MTT colorimetric assay, cell clone formation rate was detected by plate clone formation test, flow cytometry was used to detect cell cycle change, the expression levels of HSP-70, HSP-90α, VEGF were detected by Western blot method.Results Compared with control group, the inhibition rate of 5637 cell line of bladder cancer after 24, 48, 72 h were higher in all concentrations of metformin group(P<0.05), the higher the concentration and the longer the action time, the stronger inhibitory effect on cell proliferation.Compared with control group, the clone formation rate of 5637 cell line of bladder cancer in all concentrations of metformin group was lower, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with control group, the proportion of G1 phase cells were higher, the proportion of S phase cells were lower in in all concentrations of metformin group (P<0.05), the proportion of G2 phase cells in metformin 2 mM group, 5 mM group were lower(P<0.05).Compared with control group, the expression levels of HSP-70, HSP-90α, VEGF protein were lower in all concentrations of metformin group, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion Metformin has obvious inhibitory effects on the expression of HSP-70, HSP-90α, VEGF in 5637 cell line of bladder cancer, can inhibit cell proliferation and cloning, promote the occurrence of G1 block, cause cell apoptosis, the effect was dose dependent.

Objective To investigate the effects of Wuling Powder on insulin resistance of C57BL/6J mice induced by high lipid diet, and discuss the mechanism. Methods C57BL/6J mice were randomly divided into six groups:normal group, model group, rosiglitazone group, Wuling Powder in low, middle, and high dose groups, 10 mice per group. Besides the normal group, other five groups were fed with high fat and sugar diet, with a purpose to establish insulin resistance model. Normal group and model group were given pure water. Rosiglitazone group received a gavage with rosiglitazone of 0.75 mg/kg. Wuling Power low, middle, and high groups received gavage with Wuling Power of 1.23, 3.69, 11.07 g/kg, respectively, the does volume was 0.2 mL/10 g, once a day. The weight and abdominal girth were detected every week. At the end of the sixth week, mice were given 12-hour fasting, and their eyeball were taken for blood. The body weight, length, and fat in abdomen and both kidneys were detected. Paraffin section was made with HE staining. FPG and FINS of each group were detected. ISI and IRI were calculated, and TC and TG were detected. Results Compared with the model group, Wuling Powder can significantly reduce the body weight and abdominal girth of mice (P<0.01, P<0.001), improve liver fatty degeneration, lower the FPG, FINS, TCH, TG, IRI, and increase the ISI in mice (P<0.05, P<0.01). Conclusions Wuling Powder has the effect of preventing insulin resistance of C57BL/6J mice induced by high lipid diet.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the utilization of narcotic analgesics in patients with cancerous pain in our hospital. METHODS:The consumption of Morphine and Pethidine in our hospital in 2004～2007 was analyzed statistically. RESULTS:The consumption quantity of Morphine sulfate controlled-release tablets has been on the rise from 2004 to 2007,while that of Morphine Hydrochloride Injection experienced little change and that of Pethidine Hydrochloride Injection showed a downward trend. CONCLUSION:The structure for the use of narcotic analgesics in our hospital tends to be reasonable,which is basically in line with the Guiding Principle of Pain Relief Ladder for Cancer Pain.

This study aimed at exploring the economic operation and developing trend of county-level public TCM hospitals in Guangxi Province,promoting the comprehensive reform of county-level public hospitals with feasible countermeasures and suggestions.In this study,forty-seven county-level public TCM hospitals were involved in the analysis of their economic operations and benefits by constituent ratio analysis,ratio analysis and trend analysis.As a result,the average gross income of the hospitals exceeded the total expenditure with a slight surplus.Drug income contributed the biggest share of the medical income,while the ratio of Chinese drug income to the medical income was increasing year by year.The debt ratio increased from 38.7％ in 2009 up to 44.6％ in 2013,being over 30％ in this period.In conclusion,it was demonstrated that problems were found in the lack of financial assistance,the low efficiency of economic management and the increasing average medical charges,which should be addressed by increasing investments to TCM hospitals,strengthening the performance appraisal and adjusting the charges of TCM medical services.
