Objective To investigate the influence of selective HGF/cMet inhibitor-NK-4 against colon(cancer) and reveal the potential signaling pathway mechanism of NK-4 effect on colon cancer cell. Methods LoVo colon cancer cells were treated with NK-4(a selective inhibitor of c-Met phosphorylation)at different times.MTT assay and flow cytometry were used to measure cell proliferation and apoptosis. The expression of c-Met,p-c-Met,MEK2,p-ERK and C-myc were measured by Western blot. Results In NK-4-treated group, cells proliferation were inhibited and apoptosis induced in a dose-dependent manner, and resulted in(significant) downregulation of p-c-Met and MEK2/ERK pathway-related protein. The effect of HGF/on LoVo was the opposite. The ratios of p-c-Met,MEK2,p-ERK and C-myc expression between blank group and the NK-4(1?g/mL)-treated for 24h group were 2.58,1.89,1.67 and 2.21(P

Objective To explore the value of fascial tail sign at MR images in the detection of nodular fasciitis (NF). Methods A retrospective analysis of MR images was performed in 19 patients with pathologically proven NF of the soft tissue and 53 patients with a variety of other fibrous-predominant tumors. MR manifestations of all cases were reviewed by two experienced musculoskeletal radiologists using a single blind method. The presence of fascial tail on MR images were evaluated. ROC was used to assess the value of fascial tail sign in the detection of NF. Sensitivity, specificity, Youden index and area under ROC curve were calculated. The association between the presence of fascial tail sign on MRI and pathological classification of NF was analyzed by Pearson chi-square test for independence . Results Fascial tail was present in 17 cases (89.5%) of the study group and in 6 cases (11.3%) of the control group, respectively, yielding a sensitivity of 89.5%, a specificity of 88.7%, a Youden index of 0.782 and an area under ROC curve of 0.891. The fascial tail sign was significantly associated with NF (c2=39.294,P<0.05,r=0.594). Conclusions Fascial tail sign at MRI is a moderately specific and sensitive for the diagnosis of NF relative to fibrous-predominant tumors. It can be used in differentiate between NF and aggressive soft tissue tumors.

Objective To explore the diagnostic value of calcification by full field digital mammography in cases without breast palpable lumps or nodules in ductal carcinoma in situ(DC1S).Methods Based on breast imaging-reporting and data system (BI-RADS)proposed by the American College of Radiology (ACR),the cases without palpable lumps or nodules, but with calcification (over Category 4a)found by full field digital mammography admitted from Oct.2014 to Oct.2016 were analyzed. They underwent excisional biopsy after three-dimensional guide wire positioning or three-dimensional vacuum rotary cutting. After being filmed again to make sure the resection was complete, the isolated specimen were sent to pathological examination. The pathology and calcification were analyzed and summarized. Results Among 126 cases,71 (56.3%)were breast adenosis,41 (32.5%) were DCIS,6(4.8%) were infiltrating ductal carcinoma (IDC),and 8 (6.3%)were other types. The detection rate of DCIS in younger group was higher. The calcifications in DCIS were mostly linear-branching,segmental calcification, and those in IDC were mostly pleomorphic, clustering or regional calcification. Conclusion Full field digital mammography has great diagnostic value for DCIS in cases with calcification but without palpable breast lumps or nodules.
