Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2009;15(4):384-386
Objective To investigate the special features of disabled children and their medical care before admission to social welfare institution. Methods A retrospective analysis of 306 cases was performed for the types of disabilities, growth and development, nutritional state, success rate in treatment of severe cases, and etc. Results In all of 306 cases (the ratio of male∶female equal 1.6∶1), 49 cases (16.01%) had intelligence disability, 17 cases (5.56%) had extremity disability, 6 cases (1.96%) had vision disability, 7 cases (2.29%) had hearing or speech disability, 158 cases (51.63%) had multiple disability, but no cases had psychiatric disability. Besides, 69 cases (22.55%) had severe but incurable or untreated congenital disease. 23 severe cases were successfully treated and there were 10 deaths. 296 cases were transferred to the state welfare institution after medical observation or treatment. Conclusion Living environment for disabled children is extremely bad, social adaptability is poor, most of them have growth retardation, malnutrition, poor immunity, susceptible to acute diseases and the mortality rate of these children is higher.

Traditional Chinese Drug Research & Clinical Pharmacology 2001;12(2):77-79
Objective: To assess the effect and safety of Qilong Capsule (QLC) in treating apoplexy involving the meridians (Qi-deficiency and blood-stasis syndrome ). Methods: A randomized , do uble-blinded double-dummy controlled trial was adopted. One hundred and two pati ents were treated with QLC, 101 with Xiaoshuan oral liquid (XOL ) and 200 served as the open treatment group. Results: The total effective rate in QLC group was 89.22% and symptomatic relieved rate 44.12%,showing t hat QLC was more effective than XOL(P<0.01).Conc lusion: QLC is effective for apoplexy involving the meridians and has no side an d toxic effects.

Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2013;(11):1346-1348
[Objective] This paper focused on one sentence from Huangdi's Cannon of Classic, and explored its translation and deep meaning. [Method] The English translations and different scholars opinions were analyzed to explore the sentence meaning. [Result] The most suitable translation is deter-mined, and the healthy way of spring sleep time is getting up early in the morning, going to bed earlier than summer and later than winter. [Conclusion] Translation is based on understanding, and different understanding and translation can give different information to readers. The English versions can pro-mote the understanding of original Chinese meaning, and they are interacted.

China Biotechnology 2006;0(05):-
Orange peel was used as lowcost adsorbent in binding of Methylene Blue. The effects of equilibrium time,pH,dye concentration have been studied.Carboxyl, amine and phosphonate functional groups were present in the orange peel. The equilibrium time was 1 hour, the maximum adsorption capacities of the orange peel was 370.3?31.0 mg/g at pH 10.The Langmuir and Freundlich isotherms were well fitted in this biosorption system. Results showed relatively higher rate constant and biosorption capacities. These adsorption performance indicate the orange peel as a potentially economical adsorbent for dye removal.

According to the transcriptome dataset of Panax notoginseng, the key geranylgeranyl pyrophosphate synthase gene (GGPPS) in terpenoid backbone biosynthesis was selected to be cloned. Using specific primer pairs combining with RACE (rapid amplification of cDNA ends) technique, the full-length cDNA sequence with 1 203 bp, which containing a 1 035 bp open reading frame, was cloned and named as PnGGPPS. The corresponding full-length DNA sequence contained 2 370 bp, consisted of 1 intron and 2 exons. The deduced protein PnGGPPS contained 344 amino acids and shared more than 73% identity with GGPPS from Ricinus communis and Salvia miltiorrhiza. PnGGPPS also had specific Aspartic acid enrichment regions and other conserved domains, which belonged to the Isoprenoid-Biosyn-C1 superfamily. The quantitative real-time PCR showed that PnGGPPS expressed in different tissues of 1, 2, 3 years old root, stem, leaf and 3 years old flower, and the expression level in 3 years old leaf was significant higher than that in other organs, which suggested that it might not only be involved in the regulation of the growth and development, but also be associated with the biosynthesis of chlorophyll and carotenoids, the development of chloroplast, the shade habit and the quality formation of P. notoginseng.
