Objective: To observe the changes of heart-type fatty acid binding-protein(H-FABP) in the femoral vein(periphe ral blood) and urine of rats with myocardial infarction in different postmortem intervals. Methods: Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) was duplicated by ligating the anterior branch of the left coronary artery following the method of Johns in rats. Concentrations of H-FABP were detected with enzyme-linked immuno-sorbent assay (ELISA). Results: The concentrations of H-FABP in experiment group were obviously higher than that in control group. Along with the time, the concentrations of H-FABP in experiment group rose consistently, the concentration of H-FABP in 12 h group rose markedly, and it was obviously higher than in 48h that in 24h. The H-FABP concentrations in urine of the experiment group were obviouslyhigher than the one in control group. The urine concentrations of H-FABP in experiment group increased by wavy in postmortem intervals, the concentration of H-FABP in (6h) group was obviouslyhigher than that in 0h group, 12h and 24h postmortem, the H-FABP concentrations decreased, but still higher than that of 0h group and 48h group, the concentration of H-FABP rose markedly and washigher than 6h group. Conclusion: Affected by autolysis, the H-FABP concentrations of plasma and urine appeared abnormal raise and can not be used in postmortem diagnosis of AMI.
3. Reliability analysis of quality of life instruments for cancer patients-gastric cancer (QLICP-GA) based on generalizability theory
Tumor 2013;33(5):428-433
Objective: To evaluate the reliability of QLICP-GA (quality of life instruments for cancer patients-gastric cancer) scale by using generalizability theory, and to provide the references in order to revise and improve this scale. Methods: The mean squares of person (p), item (i) and the person-by-item interaction effect (pi) were calculated by using the module of UNIANOVA under the menu of General Linear Model in SPSS software. Furthermore, the generalizability coefficients and indexes of dependability were calculated in order to assess the reliability of QLICP-GA scale. Results: The largest source of variation in every domain was due to person-by-item interaction. The variances accounted for by person were large, while the variation accounted for by item was minimal. Generalizability coefficients of five domains were 0.774 (physical domain), 0.854 (psychological domain), 0.670 (social domain), 0.717 (common symptom and side effect domain), and 0.696 (specific domain), respectively. Conclusion: Physical domain, psychological domain and common symptom and side effect domain in QLICP-GA have good reliability. However, social domain and specific domain have acceptable reliability. Social domain should be emphasized when this scale will be revised and improved in future. The number of items of social domain should be added from 6 to 8 or 10. Secondly, the number of items of specific domain may be slightly added from 7 to 9. Copyright © 2013 by TUMOR.

Tumor 2011;31(3):245-249
Objective: To analyze the structure, reliability, validity and responsiveness of the six scales in the system of instruments measuring quality of life for patients with cancer (QLICP), which were developed to assess the quality of life for the patients with lung cancer, breast cancer, head and neck cancer, stomach cancer, colorectal cancer and cervical cancer. Methods: By using a stylized method, six QLICP-scales for lung cancer, breast cancer, head & neck cancer, stomach cancer, colorectal cancer and cervical cancer were developed. The quality of life of 692 patients with different tumors including lung cancer (n=85), breast cancer (n=186), head & neck cancer (n=133), stomach cancer (n=86), colorectal cancer (n=110) and cervical cancer (n=92) were measured. The reliability, validity and the responsiveness of the six scales were evaluated by calculating the Cronbach's α coefficient for the overall and each domain of the scale, calculating the test-retest reliability coefficient, and using exploratory factor analysis and the paired t-test. Results: All of the six scales in the system of QLICP have good structure and satisfactory psychometrics characteristics, which means that they have good reliability, validity and the tolerable responsiveness. Conclusion: The six special modules in the system of QLICP, including lung cancer, breast cancer, head and neck cancer, stomach cancer, colorectal cancer and cervical cancer modules, can be used in combination with general module of QLICP as the instrument to assess the quality of life for patients with different cancers. Purpose:The objective of the study is to investigate the pattern of apoptosis and to explore the effect of Fas/FasL on the process of apoptosis induced by daunorubicin (DNR) on human myeloid leukemia cell line HL 60.Methods:The effect on apoptosis and the expression of Fas and FasL antigen induced by DNR on cell line HL 60 were measured by fluorescence microscope ,DNA electrophoresis and flow cytometry analysis. Results:DNR could induce typical apoptosis of HL 60 cells with the DNR plating concentration at 0.1,1 ?g/ml after 6 hours. Morphological changes such as apoptosis bodies, chromatic condensation and cytoplasm budding were observed by fluorescence microscope. Sub G 1 peaks was found by flow cytometry. HL 60 cell apoptosis rate reached a peak at 24 hours. Sub G 1 peaks were not found by flow cytometry with the DNR plating concentration at 10 ?g/ml after 6 hours. DNR could upregulate the expression of Fas and FasL of HL 60 cells. Conclusions:Apoptosis induced by DNR is one of the primary mechanisms in chemotherapy. Fas/FasL system participate in the apoptosis induced by DNR .
