AIM:To investigate the protective effect of a new type nerves protectant TQ0701-2,as the derivate of edaravone free radical scavenger,on cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury rat.METHODS:120 male SD rats were randomly divided into sham group,model group,edaravone group(3.0 mg/kg)and TQ0701-2 high-dose group(6.0 mg/kg),middle-dose(3.0 mg/kg)and low-dose group(1.5 mg/kg).Animals in the latter five groups were subjected to transient focal ischemia by the middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO)for 2 h before reperfusion,while the sham group wasn't ischemic.The rats were injected with edaravone or TQ0701-2 30 min before ischemic and 0 min,2 h after reperfusion in edaravone and TQ0701-2 groups,sham group and model group were treated with normal saline as well.After 24 h of reperfusion,the infarct ratio,neurological and histological deficient and the changes of pathohistology were evaluated.RESULTS:The infarct ratios and neurological deficit scores in the model group were increased(P

Src family kinase (SFK) highly expresses in many types of cancers,broadly adjusting their malignant behaviors.Paclitaxel is a widely used chemical agent.However,because of constant resistance,the effect of paclitaxel has been greatly attenuated.The present review summaries the recent research progress of the structure and adjustment of SFK and the molecular mechanism of paclitaxel resistance,as well as the regulation of SFK on paclitaxel resistance,in order to provide new references and evidences upon the paclitaxel-based tumor therapy.

Current problems of medical quality control are examined.It is pointed out that normal medical routine must be maintained to lay a good foundation for the carrying out of medical quality con- trol.Rules and regulations must be strictly observed with no efforts spared to raise the quality of basic medical work.Drug rules must be observed to guarantee the safety of drug use.The control of blood and blood products must be strengthened to guarantee the safety of blood use.The administration and control of nosocomial infections must be tightended.The introduction and control of high tech and the training of specialists must be expedited to insure the therapeutic effect and medical safety.

Objective To explore the technique of T-tube replacement after choledochoscopy.Methods Choledochoscopy was performed in 256 cases,replacement of T-tube was conducted by direct insertion technique in 85 cases(Group A),and by a wire-guide technique in 171 cases(Group B).Results Three cases of T-tube replacement were unsuccessful in group A,in one case of which,the T-tube was misguided into the bowel and the patient recovered after conservative treatment following the withdrawal of T-tube.In group B,all the T-tube replacements were conducted successfully with the wire-guide technique.Conclusions Replacement of T-tube is facilitated by the wire-guide technique.

Furthering of the health reform calls for better health care system,greater public financing,and deepened reform of public hospitals.Introduced in this paper are the actions taken and outcomes of the health reform in Changchun city,including the essential medicines system to minimize drug prices,improvement of the primary healthcare system to minimize people's financial burden,greater public spending to enhance public welfare nature of medical institutions,enhanced competencies of primary medical institutions to introduce rational classification of patient flow,and enhanced equity of public services to promote people's health.On such basis,further reform proposals were made for Changchun's health reform.

The phenomenon of secondary ischemic brain injury after intracerebral hemorrhage is more common in clinical practice.In recent years,a growing number of studies are trying to find an effective therapy to avoid the occurrence of ischemic brain injury and improve the prognosis in patients with intracerebral hemorrhage.This article reviews the incidence and mechanisms of ischemic brain injury after intracerebral hemorrhage.

Objective To establish a model of pancreatic cancer induced by 7,12-dimethylbenzathracene (DMBA) in SD rats, and to detect the expression levels of RAD51 and Myc-associated factor X (MAX) and their effect on carcinogenesis of rat pancreas. Methods Ninety SD rats were randomly divided into 3 groups: a model group, an intervention group, and a control group. DMBA was directly implanted into the parenchyma of rat pancreas (the model group and the intervention group). Rats in the intervention group were treated with 1 mL trichostatin A (TSA) saline solution (1 μg/mL) via ip weekly. Rats within 3～5 months in the model group and the intervention group were executed and observed by macrograph and under microscope. Meanwhile, the rats in the control group were executed at 5th month. The EnVision~(TM) immunohistochemistry to assay the expression levels of RAD51 and MAX was used in conventional paraffin-embedded sections from the above pancreatic specimens.Results The incidence of pancreatic cancer in the model group within 3-5 months was 48.7% (18/37), including 17 ductal adenocarcinomas and 1 fibrosarcoma. The incidence of pancreatic cancer in the intervention group within 3-5 months was 33.3%(12/36), including 11 ductal adenocarcinomas and 1 fibrosarcoma. The maximal diameter of mass in the model group was significantly higher than that in the intervention group (P＜0.05). No pathological changes were found in pancreas of the control group and other extra-pancreatic main organs of the model group and the intervention group (such as the liver, biliary tract, gastrointestine tract, kidney, and lung). The positive rate of RAD51 was significantly higher in ductal adenocarcinoma in the model group, the intervention group, and the model group +the intervention group than those in corresponding groups of non-cancerous pancreatic tissues (P＜0.01), but the positive rate of MAX expression was opposite to RAD51 expression(P＜0.01). The positive tissues of RAD51 expression and/or negative tissues of MAX expression in non-cancerous tissues showed atypical-hyperplasia of ductal epitheli. Pacncreas of the control group showed the negative expression of RAD51 and positive expression of MAX. Two cases of fibrosarcoma showed the negative expression of RAD51 and MAX.Conclusion DMBA directly implanted into the parenchyma of pancreas can obtain an ideal pancreatic cancer model with high incidence in a short time. The TSA might have an inhibitive effect on carcinogenesis and growth of rat pancreas. The over-expression of RAD51 and/or lose-expression might have important effect on carcinogenesis induced DMBA in rat pancreas.

When the neurologists are facing the suspected ischemic stroke in young adults, the greatest challenge of diagnosis is to identify the causes. This article reviews the risk factors, etiological diagnosis as well as its associated disorders and dysfunction in young adults.

AIM:To research the stability of Compound Wurenchun Soft Capsule in 18 months. METHODS:TLC and HPLC methods were used.Schizandrol A was separated on a ODS-C_(18) column(Lichrospher ODS-C_(18),(4.6 mm?250 mm),) using methyl alcohol-water (65∶35) as the mobile phase,detected at 250 nm.The velocity of flow was 1.0 mL/min.Paeoniflorin was separated on a ODS-C column(Lichrospher ODS-C_(18),4.6 mm?250 mm),using acetonitrile-water-phophoric acid(15∶85) as the mobile phase,detected at 230 nm,the velocity of flow was 1.0 mL/min. RESULTS:There was a good linear relationship at the range of 0.04 mg/mL-0.64 mg/mL for schizandrol A(r=0.999 8).The average recovery of schizandrol A was 98.76%(n=6,RSD=1.18%).There was a good linear relationship at the range of 0.05 mg/mL-0.80 mg/mL for paeoniflorin(r=0.999 9).The average recovery of paeoniflorin was 97.93%(n=5,RSD=1.68%). CONCLUSION:In 18 months,the quality of Compound Wurenchun Soft Capsule is steady.

Objective To study the expressive levels of EZH2 and PTEN in pancreatic cancer and non-cancerous tissue,and the effects on carcinogenesis of rat pancreas.Methods dimethylbenzathracene(DMBA) was directly implanted into the parenchyma of rat pancreas(group A,group B).The rats of group B were treated with 1 mL trichostatin A(TSA) solution(1?g/mL) intravenously per weer 1 week after the model were set up.The rats of group A,B were killed within 3-5 months and the rats in the control(C group) were executed at 5 months to observe the develope of pancreatic cancer by macrograph and microscopy,The EnVisionTM immunohistochemistry was used to assay the expression of EZH2 and PTEN in above pancreatic specimens.Results(1) The incidence of pancreatic cancer within 3-5 months in group A was 48.7%(18/37),including 17 cases of ductal adenocarcinoma and 1 case of fibrosarcoma.The incidence of pancreatic cancer in group B was 33.3%(12/36),including 11 cases of ductal adenocarcinoma and 1 cases of fibrosarcoma.The mean maximal diameter of mass was significantly higher in group A than that in group B(P 0.05).The non-cancerous pancreatic tissues with positive expression of EZH2 and/or negative expression of PTEN showed mild to severe atypical hyperplasia of ductal epithelium.An inconsistency was found between the expression of EZH2 and PTEN in ductal adenocarcinoma(P =0.045).Pancreas of group C showed negative expression of EZH2 and positive expression of PTEN.Two cases of fibrosarcoma showed negative expression of EZH2 and PTEN.Conclusions By use of higher dose of DMBA directly implanted into the parenchyma of pancreas,high incidence of pancreatic cancer can be obtained.TSA could have an inhibitive effect on carcinogenesis and growth of pancratic cancer.The activation of EZH2 gene and inactivation of PTEN gene might have Key effects on pancreas carcinogenesis induced by DMBA in rat.
