Chinese Medical Ethics 2016;29(4):595-597
Based on the necessity of carrying out bioethics education to the probationer nurses, this paper put forward to introduce psychological sitcom to the probationer nurses′ bioethics education and described the practice process in detail. It also discussed the mechanism to improve the effectiveness of bioethics education from the per-spectives of creation, dramatization, and performance of psychological sitcom.
2.Gene Polymorphism of Adiponectin in Han Nationality with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus from Guangxi
China Pharmacist 2014;(4):540-543
Objective:To evaluate the relationship between single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) +45T→G in adiponectin gene exon 2 and type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), obesity and insulin resistance (IR) in Han population in Guangxi. Methods:Polymer-ase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism ( PCR-RFLP) was performed to identify the T-G polymorphism of adiponec-tin (exon 2) in 313 unrelated Han people from Guangxi including 95 normal glucose tolerance,103 impaired glucose tolerance and 115 type 2 diabetes mellitus. Results:In Han people of Guangxi, the SNP +45 GG genotype in adiponectin gene had significantly lower HDL-C levels than TT and TG genotypes in Han people(P<0. 05). The subjects with the GG genotype at position 45 had a signifi-cantly increased risk of IR (odds ratio of 2. 876[95%CI:1. 141-7. 248]) compared with those with the TT genotype at position 45. Conclusion:In Han people of Guangxi, the SNP +45 TT genotype in adiponectin gene has significantly higher HDL-C levels than GG genotype. The subjects with the GG genotype at position 45 have a significantly increased risk of IR compared with those with the TT genotype, while obesity and T2DM are independent on SNP+45 of adiponectin gene.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the aporphine alkaloids in the branches and leaves of Polyalthia nemoralis.
METHODThe compounds were isolated and purified by silica gel and Sephadex LH-20 column chromatographies. Their chemical structures were elucidated on the basis of physicochemical properties and spectral data.
RESULTFive aporphine alkaloids were isolated and identified as: bidebiline A (1), annobraine (2), lanuginosine (3), liriodenine (4), oxostephanosine (5), respectively.
CONCLUSIONFor the first time, Compounds 2 and 5 were obtained from Polyalthia while 1, 3 and 4 isolated from this plant. The bioassays in vitro against five human tumor cell lines with MTT method showed moderate cytotoxic activities (IC50 1 mg x L(-1)) of compounds 3-5.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the role ofCD4+CD25+ T regulatory (Treg) cells, T helper (Th)17cells and interleukin (IL)-6 in the progression of hepatitis B virus (HBV)-related acute-on-chronic liver failure (ACLF) and determine their value as prognostic markers.
METHODSThe Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), WanFang, Chinese Scientific Journals (VIP), PubMed, Embase and Web of Science databases were searched for English language case-control studies on the relationship between regulatory T lymphocytes and ACLF.The quality of included studies was assessed using the Newcastle-Ottawa scale. The meta-analysis was designed according to the PICOS approach recommended by the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) statement. RevMan software, version 5.1, was used to perform the meta-analysis.
RESULTSNine case-cohort studies were selected for inclusion in the metaanalysis. The results of the meta-analyses showed that the level of CD4+CD25+ Treg cells was not significantly different between patients with HBV-related ACLF and patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB) (mean difference (MD)=0.59, 95% confidence interval (CI)-1.68, 2.85, P=0.61) nor between patients with HBVrelated ACLF and healthy controls (MD=1.12, 95% CI:-1.42, 3.66, P=0.39). Thus, it appears that ACLF patients do not have a higher level of CD4+CD25+ Treg cells than CHB patients or healthy controls. However, the ACLF patients did appear to have a significantly higher level of Th17 cells than both the CHB patients (MD=1.73, 95% CI:0.21, 3.26, P=0.03) and the healthy controls (MD=1.62, 95% CI:(0.52, 2.72, P=0.004). In addition, the ACLF patients also had significantly higher level than both the CHB patients (MD=11.69, 95%CI:1.98, 21.40, P=0.02) and the healthy controls (MD=13.17, 95% CI:1.38, 24.95, P=0.03).
CONCLUSIONCD4+CD25+ Treg cells may be an important protective factor in the progression and prognosis of HBV-related ACLF, while Thl7 cells and IL-6 may be risk factors for further progression and worsened prognosis.

Objective To explore the effect of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) on the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and the phenotypes of photo-aging fibroblasts. Methods A photoaging cell model by repeating UVB irradiation was treated using appropriate concentration of PRP;Cell morphology and the rate of aging dying were observed under inverted microscope 24 hours later after establishment of the cell model; The expression of ROS between experimental and control group was detected using fluorescence microscope after single UVB irradiation. The relative intensity of fluorescence was analyzed using flow cytometry. Results PRP could ameliorate the large and sprawl appearance of photoaging fibroblasts obviously, reduce the generation of ROS as well as decrease the relative intensity of ROS.Conclusions PRP can decrease the level of intracellular oxidative stress caused by UVB irradiation, reduce the generation of ROS and ameliorate the senescence-like phenotypes of pho toaging fibroblasts.
