13 cases were divided on the basis of syndrome differentiation, into 2 groups, type of Qi-stagnation Blood - stasis and type of Qi - deficient Blood - stasis, and were treated with Decoction of Stasis Expelling from Blood Chamber, and Buyang Huan Wu Decoction with modifications respectively, together with Xuexuantong i.v. and retro bulbar injection of Guihong injections, all with satisfactory results.The eyesights .were ,improved, visual field expanded circulation time in retina shortened, thus saved the visual ability partially in part of the patients.

OBJCTIVE:To determine the content of Gentiopicrin in Qianggan capsules by HPLC.METHODS:The sample was separated on Diamonsil TM C18 (200 mm?4.6 mm,5 ?m) with mobile phase consisted of methanol-water (23∶77) at a flow rate of 1.0 mL?min-1.The detection wavelength was set at 254 nm.RESULTS: The linear range of Gentiopicrin was 0.018 59～0.232 40 ?g(r=0.999 6) with an average recovery of 96.59%(RSD=1.35%,n=6).CONCLUSION: The meth-od developed is accurate,stable and reproducible,and it provides basis for the improvement of the quality standard of Qianggan capsules.

Objective:To determine the prevalence of Salmonella paratyphi C phage ( SPC-P1 ) in dif-ferent Salmonella serovars and to identify the integration sites in host genome. Methods: Based on the complete genome of SPC-P1 in S. paratyphi C RKS4594, 6 pairs of primers were designed and used to amplify the fragments of SPC-P1 in 11 S. typhi, 11 S. paratyphi A, 12 S. paratyphi B and 23 S. para-typhi C strains. At the same time, 100 complete genomes of Salmonella including 20 serovars available in National Center for Biotechnology Information ( NCBI) database were downloaded and aligned by Mauve 2. 3. 1 to determine the prevalence of SPC-P1 in these serovars. Primers were designed according to the integration sites of SPC-P1 in the genome of RKS4594 , and used to amplify ten strains having SPC-P1 in the genome. The PCR products were sequenced to investigate the integration sites of SPC-P1. Results:SPC-P1 was widely distributed in S. paratyphi C genome. In the study, 14 strains had all 6 fragments and 2 strains had 3-5 fragments. All the amplified fragments showed expected sizes. In contrast, in the ge-nomes of S. typhi, S. paratyphi A and S. paratyphi B, no or only 1-2 fragments could be amplified, and the sizes were smaller than expected. The results from Mauve showed that only in the genome of S. choleraesuis, which was a close relative of S. paratyphi C, there existed an almost complete genome of SPC-P1. The insertion site of SPC-P1 in all the ten S. paratyphi C strains tested was between pgtE and yfdC genes. Conclusion:SPC-P1 is a unique virulence factor of S. paratyphi C. It may play roles in the host range and pathogenicity of S. paratyphi C.

Objective To observe the effect of Fuming Tablet on the content of ATP and MDA, and the activity of SOD in retinal tissue of rabbit retinal detachment (RD) and reattachment model. Methods 48 rabbits were randomly divided into 4 groups, with 12 in each. 12 rabbits were taken as healthy control and fed with normal saline, the others in model group, western medicine group and Fuming Tablet group were prepared as RD model by injecting Sodium Halyuronate (Helen) into subretinal spaces, and the detached retinas were reattached automatically in 10 ～ 14 days. They were administered with normal saline, mixed preparation of western medicines and Fuming Tablet suspension respectively, then the content of ATP, MDA and SOD activity were determined in postoperative 1 week (the retina remained detached) and 3 weeks (the detached retina reattached). Results Effect of fuming tablet of increasing the content of ATP and the activity of SOD, reducing the content of MDA was similar with that of the mixed preparation of ATP, VitB1 and Venoruton. Conclusion Fuming Tablet can significantly improve the oxidation resistance and depress the lipid peroxidation of retinal tissue, thus alleviate and inhibit the development of retinal pathological changes to some extent.

[Objective] The purpose of this study was to evaluate the association of ultrasound findings and different treatments with the prognosis of the pump twin in twin reversed arterial perfusion sequence (TRAP).[Methods] The 55 cases that were diagnosed as TRAP during the period from January 4th 2010 and August 31st 2015 were included.Ultrasound appearances of monochorionic twins were documented in detail when the twins were diagnosed with TRAP initially.At the initial evaluation,presence or absence of the following abnormalities were documented,including the ratio of the acardiac twin to the weight of the pump twin,hydrops fetalis in the pump twin,cardiomegaly in the pump twin,polyhydramnios in the pump twin,oligohydramnios in the acardiac twin and different treatments.The relationship between these ultrasound characteristics and different treatments with mortality of pump twin were analyzed with logistic regression.[Results] A total of 55 cases with TRAP were diagnosed in our institution and three cases were lost to follow up.Selective reduction was performed in 21 cases,termination of pregnancies in 13 and expectant management in 18.Excluding the cases that underwent termination of pregnancy,the remaining 39 cases were divided into two groups according treatment,expectant management group (n=18) and selective reduction group (n=21).Overall survival rate of the pump twin in these two groups was 66.7％ and 71.4％,respectively,P =0.748.The markers of perinatal outcome were not significantly different between expectant management group and selective reduction group.Logistic regression demonstrated that cardiomegaly in the pump twin (OR=21.73,95％CI:1.15 ～ 203.89,P ＜ 0.001) were significant correlated with mortality of the pump twin.[Conclusion] The prognosis markers were not significantly different between conservative management and selective reduction group.Cardiomegaly in the pump twin should be considered as risk predictors for mortality of the pump twin in TRAP.

Objective To explore the concentration of pregnancy associated plasma-A(PAPP-A),insulin-like growth factor-1(IGF-1)in indicating the instability of atherosclerotic plaques in patients with non-ST elevation acute coronary syndromes(NSTEACS).Methods Totally 65 patients with confirmed NSTEACS were subjected,including 30 non-ST elevation myocardial infarction(NSTEMI)and 35 unstable angina(UA)patients.Another 28 stable angina pectoris verified with vascular stenosis by coronary angiography(CAG)and 30 healthy matched individuals served as control.Serum levels of PAPP-A,C-reactive protein(CRP)and cTnT were measured respectively by enzyme linked immunosorbent assays(ELISA),rate nephelometry(RN),and microparticle enzyme immunoassay(MEIA).Correlation analysis was made among different groups.Results Serum PAPP-A,IGF-1 and CRP levels in NSTEACS group were significantly increased in comparison to SAP group and control group(P

Objective To observe the extracellular content of dopamine (DA)and expression of D1 receptors in hippocampal dentage gyrus (DG)in the model rats with vascular dementia (VD),and to investigate the relationship between them.Methods 12 male SD rats were randomly divided VD group and sham-operation group,and the VD model was prepared by permanent bilateral carotid occlusion.The extracellular content of DA in the DG was determined by in vivo microdialysis and HPLC,and the expression of D1 receptors was measured by immunehisto-chemistry.Results The DA content in the DG of the rats in VD group was lower than that in sham-operation group (P <0.05).The number of D1 receptor-positive cells in the DG hilus in VD group was increased compared with sham-operation group (P < 0.05),whereas the expression of D1 receptor in DG granule cell layer did not change (P > 0.05).Conclusion The DA content in the hippocampal DG is decreased in the VD rats,and its function may be compensated by the up-regulation of D1 receptors in the DG hilus.

ObjectiveTo observe the therapeutic effects of calcium dobesilate combined with irbesartan in treating early diabetic nephropathy ( DN ).Methods65 patients with early DN were randomly divided into two groups,experiment group( irbesartan plus calcium dobesilate,n =34) and control group( irbesartan,n =31 ).After 24 week treatment,the urinary albumin excretion rate(UAER),fasting blood glucose ( FBG ),postprandial blood glucose (PBG) and glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c) were detected and compared between two groups before and after treat ment.ResultsUAER after treatment was significantly reduced in both 2 groups(t =8.074,12.89,all P＜0.01),and the decrement in the experiment group was more obvious than that in the control group with statistical significance ( t =3.965,P ＜ 0.05).ConclusionCalcium dobesilate combined with irbesartan has good effects in the treatment of early DN.

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of granulocyte(-macrophage) colony stimulating factor[G(M)-CSF] inthe treatment of concomitant chemoradiotherapy-induced oral mucositis in locally advanced head and neck cancer patients.Metheds: Fifteen patients with locally advanced head and neck cancer was received concomitant chemoradiotherapy, whilewhite blood cell count were less than 1. 5?10~9/L with grade Ⅲ/Ⅳ oral mucositis, they were subcutaneously given G(M)-CSF at dose of 100-300?g daily for 3～10 days. Results: After administration of G(M)-CSF, all of the patients had anaugmantation of white blood cell count more than 5. 0?10~9/L. Complete healing of oral mucositis occurred in 1 patient(CR), partial in 8 patients(PR), whereas 6 patients had no change and none was progressive, the objective response rate(CR+PR) was 60%. Condusions: G(M)-CSF is proved effective for oral mucositis caused by concomitant chemoradio-therapy in locally advanced head and neck cancer patients.

AIM: To study the effect and mechanism of chlorophyllin (CHL) inhibiting HT29 cells. METHODS: IC 50 value and growth curve of HT29 cells were detected with MTT method. Apoptosis was detected with Wright-Giemsa staining, FCM and DNA electrophoresis. Telomerase was detected by PCR-ELISA, and protein and mRNA expression of COX-2 gene were detected through RT-PCR and Western blot. RESULTS: CHL inhibited the growth of HT29 in a dose-dependent manner. CHL blocked HT29 cells in G 1 phase but did not induce apoptosis. Different concentration of CHL inhibits the expression of telomerase and COX-2 in HT29 cells. CONCLUSION: CHL inhibits the growth of HT29 cells by inhibiting the expression of telomerase and COX-2 and blocking cells in G 1 phase. [
