Alveolar echinococcosis, caused by Echinococcus multilocularis infection, is a highly deadly zoonotic parasitic disease. As a benzimidazole compound, albendazole has a strong and broad-spectrum anti-parasitic action. For alveolar echinococcosis patients that are unwilling to receive surgical treatment, lose the timing for surgery, or are intolerant to surgery due to poor physical status, administration of albendazole may delay disease progression. Recently, a large number of advances have been achieved in experimental studies on alveolar echinococcosis. In order to increase the understanding of the therapeutic efficacy of albendazole for alveolar echinococcosis, this review summarizes the advances in albendazole treatment for alveolar echinococcosis, so as to provide insights into the clinical treatment of alveolar echinococcosis with albendazole.
2. Exploration on mechanism of anti-coronavirus of Sophora flavescens through multi-pathway
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2020;51(4):888-894
The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), originated in Wuhan city, Hubei Province, China in December 2019, and then quickly spread to most provinces and regions in China and even spread to many countries abroad. COVID-19 is characterized by wide epidemic, strong infectivity, rapid onset and critical condition. In the face of this epidemic, all parts of the country quickly set off a peak in the fight against COVID-19, but no effective drug for COVID-19 has been developed in the short term. Recently, many hospitals have combined traditional Chinese medicine with western medicine in treatment, and the clinical effect is remarkable, which proves the antiviral effect of traditional Chinese medicine. A large number of pharmacological and clinical studies have proved that the Chinese materia medica S. flavescens has significant antiviral effect. In this paper, the mechanism of anti-coronavirus effect of S. flavescens is expounded from multiple pathways, such as type I interferon, NF-κB signal pathway, ERK signal pathway, PI3K/Akt signal pathway and matrine alkaloids, etc. It is intended to provide reference for clinical treatment of coronavirus infection pneumonia and research and development of related drugs of S. flavescens.

Objective:
To examine the effect of lifestyle behaviors on myopia among primary and middle school students in Yinzhou District, Ningbo City using latent class analysis, so as to provide insights into prevention of myopia among primary and middle school students.
Methods:
A total of 1 547 students were sampled from primary and middle schools in Yinzhou District using a stratified cluster sampling method. Myopia-associated lifestyle behaviors were collected using questionnaires, and visual acuity was tested. Myopia-associated lifestyle behaviors were subjected to latent class analysis among primary and middle school students, and the association between lifestyle behaviors and risk of myopia was examined using a logistic regression model.
Results:
A total of 1 547 questionnaires were allocated, and 1 494 valid questionnaires were recovered, with an effective recovery rate of 96.57%. There were 247 primary school students (16.53%), 452 junior high school students (30.25%), 532 senior high school students (35.61%) and 263 vocational high school students (17.60%), and 773 men (51.74%) and 721 women (48.26%). Latent class analysis showed that students' lifestyle behaviors were classified into three groups, including the healthy behavior group (37.68%), reading and writing fatigue group (42.64%), and video fatigue and poor diet group (19.68%), with myopia prevalence of 79.22%, 88.38% and 86.73%, respectively. Moderate myopia was predominant in the reading and writing fatigue group and video fatigue and poor diet group, and low myopia was predominant in the healthy behavior group. A higher risk of myopia was found in the reading and writing fatigue group (OR=1.996, 95%CI: 1.454-2.739) and video fatigue and poor diet group (OR=1.715, 95%CI: 1.157-2.543) than in the healthy behavior group.
Conclusions
Long reading and writing duration, insufficient exercise and sleep, long video watching duration, and high intake frequency of sugary drinks and fried foods may increase the risk of myopia in primary and middle school students in Yinzhou District. Targeted myopia interventions are required tailored to different categories of lifestyle behaviors.

OBJECTIVE: To explore the relationship between metabolic syndrome( MS) and occupational stress among workers in high altitude area. METHODS: A cross-sectional study was conducted in 940 workers as research subjects who were engaged in petroleum smelting, thermal power generation and financial management et al. in high altitude area. A questionnaire survey was conducted using the Occupational Stress Inventory-Revised for occupational stress, The occupational health examination was performed to measure waist circumference, blood pressure, blood sugar and blood lipids. RESULTS: The abnormal rates in obesity,triglycerides,high-density lipoprotein, blood pressure and fasting blood glucose were 28. 3%,16. 3%,14. 3%,13. 3% and 6. 5%, respectively. The detection rate of MS was 5. 0%( 47/940). The multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the risk of elevated MS decreased with the increased of occupational stress level( P < 0. 05),and the risk of elevated MS increased with the increased of occupational stress reaction severity( P < 0. 05),after adjusting the confounding factors of gender and labor nature. CONCLUSION: The higher occupational stress reaction of the workers in high altitude area, the higher the risk of MS.

Aim To explore the potential mechanism of Bawei Chenxiang powder against ischemie heart disease (IHD) through mitophagy based on network pharmacology, molecular docking and verification in vitro. Methods The targets of serum constituents of Bawei Chenxiang powder were mined by Swiss target predic-tion, and then the targets related to IHD and mitophagy were selected from Genecards, NCBI and OMIM data-bases to obtain the intersection targets of the three as the potential targets of Bawei Chenxiang powder for the treatment of IHD through mitophagy. Then the "ingre-dients-disease-potential target " network and " protein-protein interaction" (PPI) network were constructed to perform network analysis in order to screen the key ac-tive ingredients and core targets, using Autodock vina software for molecular docking operation. The targets CO function enrichment analysis and KEGG pathway enrichment analysis were analyzed by DAVID databas-es. The effeets of Bawei Chenxiang powder containing serum on celi viability, levels expressions mitophagy and key signaling pathway related protein in H9C2 cells were investigated by hypoxia-induced injury of H9c2 myocardial cells model in vitro. Results The 9 key active compounds and 8 core targets of Bawei Chenxiang powder were screened; molecular docking showed a good binding ability of key active ingredients and core targets. KEGG pathway enrichment analysis showed that the effect of Bawei Chenxiang powder on IHD through mitophagy was related to EGFR, PI3K-Akt, MAPK, FoxO signaling pathway, etc. Celi ex-periments showed that Bawei Chenxiang powder containing serum treatment could significantly improve the survival rate by hypoxia-induced injury in H9c2, the expression of LC3II and p62 were significantly down-regulated, and the expressions of p-PI3K/PI3K and p-AKT/AKT were significantly up-regulated. Conclu-sions Bawei Chenxiang powder plays an anti-IHD role by regulating mitophagy, which may be involved in AKT1, STAT3, MAPK3 and EGFR and other targets, through quercetin, Kaempferol, Naringenin and De-hydrodiisoeugenol as well as other components. Its mechanism may be related to improving PI3K-AKT pathway.
