The macroscopy and ultrasondgraphy analysis for thirty reseeted specimens of esophageal carcinoma proved by pathology was reported in this paper. The ultrasonic features of esophageal carcinoma as follows:the local wails became thicker, their layers were unclear or disap-peared,the normal walls were insteaded of irregular masses with hypoechoic patterns, the borders of the masses were definite or indefinite, and the posterior echoes of the masses had little change. In addi-tion,the depth of tumor invasion Was compared by the ultrasonography and pathology. The ultrasonic features of the esophageal walls without tumor were also described.

Objective :To study the effect of MMP-1,TIMP-1,VEGF and t-PA,PAI-1 in the inflammatory process of endometrium cell and the active components of SQ.Methods: ICC,ISH and WB was used to test the level of protein of MMP-1,TIMP-1,VEGF and t-PA,PAI-1 and mRNA of MMP-1,TIMP-1 and VEGF of endometrium cell in regular group, pattern group,GongXueNing group and SQ group.Result: In contrast with model group, the level of MMP-1protein and mRNA expression obviously decreased, but the level of TIMP-1 and VEGF increased in SQ group, there were signifi cant differences(P

Objective To explore the role of mouse dermis-derived mesenchymal stem cells (mdMSC) on skin repair. Methods mdMSC and human dermal fibroblasts were isolated and identified. Human dermal fibroblasts were cultured alone or eoeultured with mdMSC in Transwell chambers with the density ratio of human dermal fibroblasts to mdMSC being 2/5, 1/1, and 2/1. On day 4 and 8 of culture, the expression levels of hydroxyproline and transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-beta) 1 were measured in the supematant of monoculture and coculture by alkaline hydrolysis and ELISA respectively. Results The level of hydro-xyproline was significantly higher in the supematants of coculture system with a density ratio of 2/5 and 1/1 than that in monoculture supematants of human dermal fibroblasts on day 8 (both P < 0.05). Elevated level of TGF-betal was observed in all coculture supematants on day 8 (all P < 0.01) and in the supernatants of coculture system with a density ratio of 1/1 on day 4 (P < 0.05). There was no significant correlation between the expression level of TGF-betal and hydroxyproline in the coculture supernatants (r = 0.108, P > 0.05). Conclusion In vitro coculture with mdMSC can increase the production of hydroxyproline and TGF-betal by fibroblasts, which may be a mechanism underlying the facilitation of skin repair by mdMSC.

Objective To discuss basis and operative indications for anterior reversional indication after failures of posterior pedicel screw instrumentation for thorcolumbar burst fracture combined with paraplegia. Methods Clinical data of 21 cases who had failures of posterior pedical screw fixation because of thorcolumbar burst fracture combined with paraplegia were analyzed retrospectively from February 1999 to April 2005.All cases were operated by removing posterior screw device.Meanwhile, one stage anterior cord decompression, correction of kyphosis, fusion with self-ilium or Titanium cage with granule fractured vertebrate and internal fixation was carried out according to clinical symptom and image findings.Spinal cord function and correction of kyphosis were evaluated by Frankel score and Cob angle. Results All cases were operated successfully. After operation, there was rib nerve injury occurred in two cases, leakage of CSF in three and refractory thigh pain in two.The follow up ranging from three months to six years(average 2.2 years) showed good interfixation except for one case had breakage of screw four months after operation.Cob angle of kyphosis recovered from preoperative 16.4? to 5.2??0.3? at follow up.Of all,16 cases had partly recovery of spinal cord function according to Frankel score.(Conclusion)As for thoracolumbar burst fracture combined with paraplegia, anterior approach can attain direct decompression, satisfactory correction of kyphosis and stable fixation and is suitable for most cases.

Objective To investigate the expression and secretion of mice DNaseI gene plasmid transfected into bone marrow (BM-MSCs) mesenchymal stem cells. Methods The plasmids of mouse DNaseI gene had been transfected into the BM-MSCs of mice by liposomes. The expression of DNaseI gene in the BM-MSCs was detected by western blotting and the DNaseI activity was measured by DNA-methyl green substrate colorimetry. Results About 30% BM -MSCs were transfected with mice plasmid DNaseI gene, DNaseI was expressed in the transfected BM-MSCs and active DNaseI could be detected in the supernatant of cell culture. Conclusion The mice DNaseI gene plasmid can be transfected into mice BM -MSCs by liposomes and DNaseI gene can be expressed by the transfected BM-MSCs and active DNaseI can be secreted. This may provide potential target for the treatment of SLE.

Objective To observe the short-term and long-term effect of preventive therapy of bionic pulsed electromagnetic fields(BEMF) on the osteoporosis model of Wistar rats. Methods Thirty-two 3-month-old female Wistar rats were randomly divided into 4 groups with 8 rats in each group: control group(group A),desamethasone group(group B),calcitonin group(group C) and BEMF group(group D).Rats in group A were raised normally and received normal saline.Rats in group B were injected with desamethasone only(1 mg/kg,intramuscularly,twice a week).Rats in group C were injected with calcitonin(2 IU/kg,subcutaneously,once a day) and rats in group D were irradiated with BEMF for preventive therapy, simultaneouly all rats were injected with desamethasone(1 mg/kg,intramuscularly,twice a week). The rat bone mineral density(BMD) was measured under narcosis at 4,8,12 weeks after starting preventive therapy. Results No significant differences in BMD were found among all groups 4 weeks later. The significant differences in BMD were observed between group D and group B 8 weeks later and lasted to 12 weeks(P

Aim To evaluate the effects of R-Salbutamol(R-Sal)on the contraction of isolated tracheal strips and lung parenchyma strips in guinea-pig,induced by Histamine(His). Methods Tracheal strips and lung parenchyma strips of guinea-pig in vitro were prepared, and the dilatory effect on shrinkage reaction of isolating specimens induced by His were measured before or after the administration of R-Sal in doses of 10-8,10-7,10-6 mol?L-1,with fix-doses pharmacology methods. The inhibitory effect was compared with that of Sal(10-6 mol?L-1).Results His could induce the contraction of isolated strips in guinea-pig in a dose-dependent manner, and R-Sal could significantly inhibit this shrinkage of lung parenchyma induced by His.in a dose-dependent manner.R-Sal was much more efficient than Sal(P
