6.Sheng's acupuncture manipulation at bone-nearby acupoints and the academic thoughts.

Sheng's acupuncture manipulation at bone-nearby acupoints is a set of needling manipulation of the chief physician of TCM, SHENG Xie-sun, summarized through his over 50 years clinical experiences and on the basis of Internal Classic. Regarding this manipulation, on the premise of acupoint selection based on syndrome differentiation, the acupoints close to bone are possibly selected and punctured, with the needle tip toward bone edge, and followed by the technique to achieve reducing purpose. Clinically, the significant immediate analgesia can be achieved in pain disorders such as headache and toothache. Professor Sheng thought, corresponding to the location of needle insertion and needling depth, the tissue layers of needle tip passing through should be considered specially. The site of needle insertion should be changeable so as to ensure the needle tip reaching the bone. This manipulation for analgesia provides a certain guide for acupuncture study, especially for the mechanism study on acupuncture analgesia.

8.Clinical and pathological analysis on diagnosis and treatment of 58 breast cancer patients over 80 years old

Objective To analyze the clinical and pathological features of breast cancer in patients over 80 years old, to discuss the individualized treatment plan and further to provide foundation for clinical treatment . Methods Data of 58 breast cancer patients over 80 years old were retrospectively analyzed .They were treated from Jun.2008 to May.2014 and the diagnosis was confirmed by pathology after surgery .They were followed up by telephone.Results Among the 58 cases, invasive cancer accounted for 94.8%(55/58), in which triple-negative breast cancer accounted for 29.1%(16/55), and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2)pos-itive breast cancer accounted for 7.2%( 4/55 ) .Stage III breast cancer accounted for 24%( 14/58 ) .67.2%(39/58)patients underwent breast resection , 55.2%(32/58)patients underwent axillary treatment , 17.2%(10/58)patients received chemotherapy , and 51.7%(30/58) patients received endocrine therapy .Seven cases had recurrence and 3 cases died of the disease .Conclusions Breast cancer in elderly patients has its special clinical and pathological features .It has longer course , relatively late stage , and more complications .It has higher pro-portion of triple-negative breast cancer and lower proportion of positive HER 2.Elderly breast cancer patients are less tolerant to chemotherapy , thus surgery and endocrine therapy are the main treatment .

Human gliomas are one of the most aggressive tumors in brain.Radiotherapy plays an important role for patients with gliomas,as well as surgery.The efficacy of radiotherapy is associated with radiosensitivity of human gliomas.Radiosensitive genes of gliomas and apoptosis、cell cycle transformation、DNA damage induced by irradiation and DNA repair promoted by them are suggested to be associated with glioma radiosensitivity.The rediosensitive genes associated with apoptosis and DNA repairment are becoming hot spots of study.The other radiosensitivity genes are paid attention too.This paper makes a summary of current situation and progress for radiosensitive genes of human brain glomas.

[Methods]To summarize and analysize Zhang CiGong’s learning experiences,academic thoughts and examples of clinical experiences. [Results]Zhang CiGong had no prejudice on academic schools, integrated various academic schools’s advantages and then turned into his’s own feature. Zhang CiGong researched and clarified the essence of traditional Chinese medicine theory, and made it flourish. He found the real cause of the disease when treatment,used the holistic approach and syndrome differentiation treatment. He gathered his own experience into the ancients experience and emphasis on practice when he gave Chinese Herbal. [Conclusions]Zhang CiGong’s learning was great and we should learn from him.
