Objective:To study effect of transcatheter occlusion and minimally invasive surgical occlusion in treating secundum atrial septal defect. Methods:Patients with secundum atrial septal defect were collected and randomly divided into observation group given transcatheter occlusion and control group received minimally invasive surgical occlusion. Then operation related index and and heart function index were observed. Results: there were no differences in operation related index between two groups(x2=1.039, P>0.05);operation success had negative correlation with age and positive correlation with LEVF (t=7.832, P<0.05) and no correlation with sex(t=0.892, P>0.05);in patients older than 45, the successful case, LEVF and LVEDD of observation group were significantly higher than control group(t=5.372, t=5.382;P<0.05). Conclusion:transcatheter occlusion and minimally invasive surgical occlusion can achieve ideal therapeutic efficacy;transcatheter occlusion has positive clinical value in patients over 45 years old for its advantages of small operation wound.

Objective Study the behaviors of image registration algorithms, and analyze the elements which influence the performance of image registrations. Methods Pre-known corresponding coordinates were appointed for reference image and moving image, and then the influence of region of interest (ROI) selection, transformation function initial parameters and coupled parameter spaces on registration results were studied with a software platform developed in home. Results Region of interest selection had a manifest influence on registration performance. An improperly chosen ROI resulted in a bad registration. Transformation function initial parameters selection based on pre-known information could improve the accuracy of image registration. Coupled parameter spaces would enhance the dependence of image registration algorithm on ROI selection. Conclusions It is necessary for clinic IGRT to obtain a ROI selection strategy (depending on specific commercial software) correlated to tumor sites. Three suggestions for image registration technique developers are automatic selection of the initial parameters of transformation function based on pre-known information, developing specific image registration algorithm for specific image feature, and assembling real-time image registration algorithms according to tumor sites selected by software user.

To treat 30 patients with simple adiposis with needling of point Jiaji (Ex-B2, T3-L5), after 2 courses of treatment 12 got a marked curative effect, 15 got a curative effect, 3 got no effect, accounting for 10.0%. The total effective rate was 90.0%.

Zebrafish have been emerging as a valuable model for kidney research , including podocyte biology , nephrogenesis and kidney disease .The zebrafish kidney has similar structure , common function and the same cell types with human kidney .Rapid development and feasible genetic editing approaches in zebrafish provide an ideal model for high -throughput gene screening involved in kidney disease and developmental process .Loss or injury of podocytes is the key mechanism , which can lead to proteinuria , glomerulo-sclerosis and renal failure .Here, we introduce structure and function of zebrafish kidney , filtration estimating assays , podocytes injury model and the highlights of recent zebrafish podocytes studies .

Objective To investigate the effect of telephone follow-up on peripherally inserted central cathter(PICC) maintenance.Methods Two hundred and eighty-nine patients with PICC in our hospital from January to December 2010 served as the control group,given conventional health education on intubation,another 305 patients with PICC from January to December 2011 were set as the observation group,where telephone call follow-up was done on the basis of conventional health education on intubation. The two groups were compared in terms of timely catheter maintenance,catheter-related complications,accidental extubation and satisfaction.Result The observation group was significantly better than the control group in terms of timely catheter maintenance, catheter-related complications,accidental extubation and satisfaction (allP<0.05).Conclusion Telephone follow-up helps to improve patients compliance with PICC catheter maintenance,effectively control the complications and improve the quality of life and satisfaction degree.

Cerebral infarction is not only a focal damage,but also causes secondary damage in areas remote from the ischemic territory,which will retard the recovery of neurological function.Ephrin receptor B2 (EphB2) plays an important role in the development and repair mechanism of central nervous system.Blocking the effect of EphB2 in brain by using a specific inhibitor may enhance proliferation and migration of endogeneous neuronal stem cells after experimental cerebral infarc- tion,improve neurological function and influence angiogenesis and neuroplasticity in remote sites.It is expected to become a new approach for decreasing damages in areas remote from the cerebral infarction and promoting the recovery of neurological function.
