1.Research on clinical application of Saxagliptin in Chinese type 2 diabetic patients
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2015;(7):649-652
Saxagliptin belongs to the class of dipeptidyl peptidase-4(DPP-4) inhibitors which are novel oral glucose-lowering agents with uniquely mechanism in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Clinical efficacy without increasing hypoglycemia of saxagliptin as single agent as well as in combination with other medications used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus has been well established in several randomized trials. In addition, a cardiovascular outcome study of SAVOR shows that saxagliptin does not increase the risk of a composite of non-fatal myocardial infarction, non-fatal stroke or cardiovascular death meeting the primary safety objective. The efficacy and safety studies were hereby reviewed.
2.Effect of Angiotensin II Receptor Inhibitor on Proliferation and Apoptosis of a Human Endometrial Cancer Cell Line Ishikawa Induced by Estrogen
Journal of China Medical University 2010;(9):733-736
Objective To explore the effect of Angiotensin Ⅱreceptor inhibitor on proliferation and apoptosis and cell cycle of human en-dometrial cancer cell line induced by estrogen. Methods Human endometrial cancer cells, ishikawa were cultured, and then treated with different concentrations of estrogen or saralasin.Cell proliferation was examined using MTT,and cell cycle and apoptosis were determined us-ing flow cytometry. Results Saralsin inhibited the proliferation of ishikawa cells. After treated with saralasin at 10 min after estrogen induc-tion,cycle was arrested at G1/G0 phase and S phase was reduced in ishikawa cell with significant difference between treatment group and control group. An increase in early apoptosis and late apoptosis occurred at 10min after treatment. Conclusion Saralsin inhibits endometrial cancer cell ishikawa proliferation, induces apoptosis and accumulation in G1/G0 phase in vitro. Therefore, saralsin may be helpful for the treat-ment of endometrial cancer.
5.Clinical effect of live combined bifidobacterium, lactobacillus and enterococcus powder treatment in children with secondary diarrhea of pneumonia and analysis of related factors
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2013;(12):33-35
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of live combined bifidobacterium, lactobacillus and enterococcus powder (probiotics bifico) treatment in children with secondary diarrhea of pneumonia and analysis of related factors. Methods Three hundred and eighty-five pneumonia children were studied. The related factors of secondary diarrhea of pneumonia were screened. One hundred and twenty cases of children with secondary diarrhea of pneumonia were divided into observation group and control group by table of random digit with 60 cases each. The observation group was given the probiotics bifico combined with conventional treatment, the control group was given the conventional treatment. The clinical efficacy was evaluated treatment after 7 d.Results The effective rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group [96.7%(58/60) vs.61.7%(37/60),x2 =22.282,P< 0.01].Age of onset, hospitalization time, invasive procedures, combination therapy of antibiotics, therapy of hormone and therapy of probiotics bifico were related with the incidence of secondary diarrhea of pneumonia (P < 0.01 or < 0.05).Conclusions The younger children, long hospital stay, invasive procedures, combination therapy of antibiotics and therapy of hormone are the risk factors of secondary diarrhea of pneumonia. The probiotics bifico for treating the children with secondary diarrhea of pneumonia has exact clinical efficacy, and it is worthy of clinical application.
6.Platelet activating factor in the pathogenesis of SMAO shock and therapeutic effect of anisodamine
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1989;0(06):-
The changes of PAF activity and the effects of anisodamine (654-2) were studied in the superior mesenteric artery occlusion (SMAO)shock in rabbits. The results showed that plasma PAF activity increased from 3.88?0.82 AU/ml before SM-AO to 9.71?1.26 AU/ml (P
7.Studies on the relation between bilirubin and chronic diabetic complications
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2016;32(5):426-428
[Summary] Cardiovascular disease ,diabetic nephropathy and diabetic retinopathy are common complications of diabetes ,and are the significant reason of cardiovascular mortality ,end-stage renal disease ,and blindness in adults patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. At present, the researche on the pathogenesis of diabetic complications mainly focus on oxidative stress and chronic inflammation. In addition, a large number of studies have pointed out that bilirubin has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. Therefore, bilirubin and diabetic complications are closely linked.
8.Management of blood pressure in elderly patients with diabetes mellitus
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2014;30(11):1024-1026
The elderly patients with diabetes often have a high prevalence of hypertension.Meanwhile, hypertension is a major vascular risk factor in this population. The benefit of proper management of hypertension in elderly patients with diabetes has been well recognized.According to the IDF Global Guideline for Managing Old People with Type 2 Diabetes, lifestyle interventions are recommended to form the first step in managing hypertension in elderly patients with diabetes.Pharmacological therapy should be initiated in addition to lifestyle interventions after 6 weeks during which non-pharmacological therapy has failed to achieve blood pressure targets.ACE-inhibitors are the first choice for initial medication, especially in the presence of diabetic nephropathy.ARBs can be used in people who cannot tolerate ACE-inhibitors.Diuretics or calcium channel blockers can be used as the first add-on therapy to ACE-inhibitors or ARBs if they fail to achieve target blood pressure.β-blockers should be considered for combination therapy in people with tachycardia or coronary artery disease. The generally recommended blood pressure target for older people with diabetes should be less than 140/90 mmHg(1 mmHg=0.133 kPa).
9.Essential role of thyroid hormones in brain developm ent
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2001;0(05):-
Thyroid hormones (TH) play an imp or tant role in the development and maturity of the mammalian brain. Maternal TH de ficiency, even subclinical hypothyroidism, leads to poor neurodevelopment of the fetus. Screening of pregnant women for hypothyroidism is recommended. Identific ation of the TH-responsive genes in the developing brain and investigation on t heir functions are helpful to provide insights into the molecular mechanisms by which TH influence brain development.
10.Thyroid-stimulating hormone receptor and its cleavage and shedding
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(03):-
Thyroid-stimulating hormone receptor(TSHR)is an important autoantigen whose cleavage and shedding can induce autoimmunity. The TSHR is the main functional receptor of the thyroid. The shedding of the ? subunit plays an important role in the forming of TSAb and balancing between TSAb and TBAb.Research on the cleavage and shedding of the TSHR extracellualar domain helps to gain a deep insight into the structure and function of TSHR,illuminate the pathogenesis of autoimmune thyroid disease and find out a new therapy. The structure of TSHR,the mechanism and the significance of its cleavage and shedding are reviewed in this article.
