1.Progress of the antiepileptic mechanisms of ketogenic diet
International Journal of Pediatrics 2010;37(2):193-196
Ketogenic diet (KD) is a high-fat,low-protein,low-carbohydrate diet that results in series of adaptive changes such as ketosis, fatty acid increasing and glycolysis depression. The mechanisms of the epilepsy correlated with the iron channel, neurotransmitter and neurocyte injury. The novel stresses the antiepileptic effects of above general changes in controlling the iron channels open or close, balancing the excitable and inhibitive neurotransmitters, increasing energy reserve, inhibiting free radical production and promoting neurocyte regeneration.
3.Changes of Plasma Satecholamines and Atrial Natriuretic Peptide in Children with Chronic Heart Failure and Its Clinical Significance
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1992;0(06):-
Objective To explore the changes of plasma catecholamines(CA)[including epinephrine(E) and norepinephrine(NE)] and atrial natriuretic peptide(ANP) in children with varying degrees of left ventricular ejection function(LVEF) in chronic heart failure(CHF),and establish natriuretic hormone factors as one of the diagnostic criteria of CHF.Methods Thirty-five patients with CHF and 35 children in good health were enrolled, and the concentration of plasma NE,E,ANP and the LVEF were determined. Results 1.The levels of plasma NE,E and ANP in 35 patients with CHF before treatment were significantly higher than those in control group(Pa

Chinese Journal of Parasitology and Parasitic Diseases 1997;0(06):-
Crude extract of Periplaneta americana was prepared by liquid nitrogen grinding. After being purified with DEAE Sephadex A-50 ion exchange chromatography, the protein content of the extract was determined and the extract solution was prepared at gradient concentrations. The crude extract and purified allergen at different concentrations were dotted respectively on nitrocellulose(NC) membrane.Patient serum,bio-IgE,sa-HRP,luminal regents were added to the membrane. The chemiluminescence was displayed by exposing to X-film.The result revealed that the minimum protein content of crude Periplaneta americana extract detected by CLIA is 0.87?g/ml,with 90% accordance to skin test positive patients, and 100% accordance to those with negative skin test and ELISA detection.

Cancer Research and Clinic 2009;21(12):803-805,809
Objective To investigate the enhancing effect of Celecoxib on the anti-proliferative effect of cisplatin (DDP) against human cervical carcinoma HeLa cells and to explore the possible mechanism. Methods After treatment of HeLa cells with Celecoxib or/and DDP, the growth suppression of HeLa cells was measured by MTT assay. Cell cycle and apoptosis were examined by flow cylometry. Results The inhibition of Celecoxib on HeLa cells was dose -dependent and time -dependent.The inhibitory effect was remarkable enhanced in asynergistic or additive pattern after treatment with the combination of Celecoxib and DDP (P =0.000) . Celecoxib (50 μmol/L) and DDP (16 μmol/L) could respectively induce the apoptosis of HeLa cells and this effect of apoptosis induction was increased when combinated Celecoxib with DDP. They could change cell cycle of HeLa cells lines with G_0/G_1 phase cells increasing and S phase cells decreasing. Conclusion Celecoxib combined with DDP shows synergistic anti-tumor effects.

Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(05):-
ObjectTo investigate the chemical constituents in the rhizoma of Belamcanda chinensis (L.) DC. MethodsThe chemical constituents were isolated and purified by solvent extraction together with various chromatographic techniques. The structures were elucidated on the basis of chemical evidence and spectral data. ResultsThree compounds were isolated from the EtoAC extracts of the rhizome of B. chinensis which were isorhamnetin (Ⅹ), hispidulin (Ⅺ), dichotomitin ( ⅩⅡ); four compounds were isolated from n-BuOH extracts, which were iridin ( ⅩⅢ), tectoridin (ⅩⅣ), daucosterol ( ⅩⅤ), vittadinoside or stigmasterol-3-O-glucoside ( ⅩⅥ). ConclusionCompound Ⅺ is isolated from this medicinal plant for the first time.

AIM The aim is to investigate the chemical constituents of Belamcanda chinensis. METHODS The chemical constituents were isolated and purified by solvent extraction together with various chromatographic techniques. The stuctures was elucidated on the basis of chemical evidence and spectral data. RESULTS Eight compounds were isolated from the ethanol extract of the rhizome of Belamcanda chinensis (L.)DC..Among them, six isoflavones were elucidated as irilone(Ⅰ)、genistein(Ⅱ)、tectorigenin(Ⅲ)、 irigenin(Ⅳ)、dimethyltectorigenin(Ⅴ)、irisflorentin(Ⅵ). CONCULSION ⅠandⅡ were isolated from this medicinal plant for the first time.

Objective To establish a rat model of chronic renal failure (CRF) by using 5/6 subtotal nephrectomy method , then observe and evaluate the effect of Turbidity‐reducing Granule on the intestinal immune function of rats with CRF .Methods CRF model Wistar rats were divided into high ,medium and low dose group ,sham operation group ,and model control group .respec‐tively given Turbidity‐reducing Granule 4 .05 ,8 .10 ,16 .20 g · kg -1 · d-1 .Benazepril group was given 2 mL/d (1 .2 mg/d) Benaze‐pril suspension fed;model control group and the sham group are saline 2 mL/d orally .The rats were observed before and after treat‐ment of signs and general condition ,serum BUN ,Scr changes ,and pathological changes were observed under microscope .ELISA method were used to detect serum and intestinal SIgA .Results Turbidity‐reducing Granule reduced the level of serum BUN ,Scr in rats with CRF ,there were statistically significant differences of Benazepril group and high ,medium ,low dose of Turbidity‐reducing Granule group compared with model group(P<0 .05) .Compared with the model group ,the intestinal SIgA of Benazepril group and low ,middle ,high dose of group increased significantly(P<0 .05);intestinal SIgA in ,middle and high dose group were significantly increased compared with Benazepril group(P<0 .05) .Conclusion Turbidity‐reducing Granule could improve renal function and in‐testinal immune function .
