Objective To evaluate regional right ventricular longitudinal function in fetus using velocity vector imaging(VVI),and establish nomogram of right ventricle,Methods One hundreed and seventy healthy fetuses were divided into 5 groups according to the gestational age.Dynamic digital views of four chamber view were collected and analyzed offline.Velocity,strain and strain rate were calculated in systolic and diastolic period,respectively.Results Normal systolic and diastolic values for velocity,strain and strain rate were established.Tissue velocity gradually decreased from the base segment to the apical segment(P＜0.05),whereas strain and strain rate were stable(P＞0.05).Tissue velocity was gestationalage dependent(P＜0.05),whereas strain and strain rate were stable throughout gestation (P＞0.05).Conclusions Fetal myocardial velocity,strain and strain rate measurements are easy to obtain and reproducible.Increase in tissue velocity throughout gestation probably reflects the growth of the fetal heart,whereas intrinsic myocardial properties as measured by strain and strain rate do not change.

Objective To describe the diagnostic approach and clinical outcomes of fetal intraabdominal extralobar pulmonary sequestration (IEPS).Methods Three cases of IEPS were diagnosed prenatally by ultrasound in our center.The data of these 3 cases and 43 cases in prior studies from 1986 to 2016 were retrospectively reviewed.The prenatal sonographic features,treatment,and outcomes were collected.Results The gestational age of diagnosis IEPS was (24.5±5.9)weeks,the male-to-female ratio was 3-4∶1,78.3% (36/46) of IEPS masses located on the left side,47.8% (22/46) of lesions were homogenous and hyperechoic,8.7% (4/46) of cases associated anomalies,78.3% (36/46) of patients were preformed resection and postoperative recovery and subsequent course were uncomplicated.Feeding arteries were detected in 15.2% (7/46) cases and confirmed by surgery or autopsy.Conclusions Prenatal ultrasound has the diagnostic accuracy of IEPS.Feeding arteries noted on color Doppler are strongly indicators of IEPS.Postsurgical outcomes are favorable.

Objective To investigate the clinical significance of circumferential aneurysmal wall enhancement (CAWE)in high-resolution magnetic resonance imaging. Methods The imaging and clinical data of 41 patients with intracranial aneurysm underwent gadolinium-enhanced 3. 0 T HR-MRI from October 2014 to July 2015 were analyzed retrospectively. Two experienced neurovascular radiologists read the vascular neuroimagings independently and determined whether the intracranial aneurysm walls of the patents had CAWE. Twenty-five patients had unstable intracranial aneurysms and 16 had stable intracranial aneurysms. The consistency of the diagnostic results of the 2 radiologists was evaluated by the Kappa test. The CAWE,number,location,size and the imaging features of intracranial aneurysms,as well as gender,age, smoking history,drinking history,hypertension and diabetes of clinical risk factors of the patients in both groups were compared. The comparison between groups was conducted by using the chi-square test. Results A total of 47 intracranial aneurysms were detected in 41 patients,including 29 unstable intracranial aneurysms (a unstable aneurysm group)and 18 stable intracranial aneurysms (a stable aneurysm group). The consistency of CAWE results diagnosed by 2 experienced neurovascular radiologists was better (κ =0. 828;95%CI 0. 668 -0. 989). CAWE of the unstable intracranial aneurysms was significantly more than those of the stable intracranial aneurysms. There was significant difference (75. 9%[22 / 29]vs. 33. 33%[6 / 18];χ2 = 8. 341,P = 0. 004). The age of the patients with unstable intracranial aneurysm was younger than 60 years;it was more than those with stable intracranial aneurysm. There was significant difference (68%[17/ 25]vs. 31. 25%[5/ 16];χ2 = 5. 299,P = 0. 021),while there were no significant differences in the imaging features,including the number,location,size,as well as the clinical risk factors,including gender, smoking history,drinking history,hypertension,and diabetes between the 2 groups (P > 0. 05). Conclusion CAWE is significantly more common in unstable intracranial aneurysms. It can differentiate the symptomatic,morphological changes of ruptured intracranial aneurysms between the stable intracranial aneurysms.

Objective: Xiaoliu Granule (XLG) is based on the principle of Yiqi Huayu Decoction, this experiment was to study the treating point of XLG on the hysteromyoma rats. Methods: The hysteromyoma rats models was established in rats by loading estrogen and progesterone, to observe the effect of XLG on pathological condition of uterus, and the content of PR , ER, Bcl-2/Bax. Results: The experiments proved that XLG was effective in reducing the proliferation, reversing the proliferative abnormalities of uterus smooth muscle. The XLG also can significantly reduce the content of PR, ER and Bcl-2/Bax. Conclusion: Therefore, XLG was a good approach in treating hysteromyoma. The mechanism of XLG in treating hystermyoma was probably by reducing ER, PR, lowering the E, P sensitivity; reducing expression of Bcl-2, increasing the expression of Bax, and promoting cell apoptosis, etc.

AIM: To study the anti-ulcer actions of the clinic experience prescription Shuangpu Powder and to provide experimental basis for further application. METHODS: Four kinds of experimental rodent ulcer models including aqueous extract excitability ulcer in rats,pyloric ligational ulcer in rats,hydrochloric acid-alcohol induced ulcer in rats and indomethacin induced ulcer in mice were used to observe its actions of anti-ulcer of Shuangpu Powder. RESULTS: The results showed that the Shuangpu Powder significantly decreased ulcer formation induced by stress,pylorus ligation,hydrochloric acid-alcohol and indomethacin. CONCLUSION: Shuangpu Powder has obvious anti-ulcer actions.

Objective:In order to prevent tracheostomal stenosis (TSS) instead of laryngectomy cannulas after total laryngectomy, Nickel\|Titanium shape memory alloys(NI\|SMA) stents in tracheostome were produced and applicated in clinic. Methods: The diameter of NI-SMA is 0.8mm, and Ni 50%, Ti 50%. The shape of the Ni\|SMA stent is the two\|threeth of circumference and its diameters are 18mm, 19.5mm, 21mm. The stents were implanted between the first and the second tracheal cartilage ring of the stump in twenty\|two patients with advanced laryngeal carcinoma or hypopharyngeal carcinoma or esophagul carcinoma in neck. All the patients were free of laryngectomy cannulas after operation. Results: Nieteen patients healed at one stage. Infections after operation were seen in three cases. Eight patients received radiotherapy after total laryngectomy. The NT\|SMA stent did not influence radiotherapy after operation. The TSS occured in six of the patients. A simple procedure named “doughnut” for widening stenosis was performed successfully with an electric cautery knife in all the patients with tracheostomal stenosis after operation. Conclusions: The results suggested that the NT\|SMA stents can prevent from traheostenosis instead of metal laryngectomy cannulas after total laryngectomy.

Objective To assess subclinical left ventricular systolic and diastolic function in normotensive latent autoimmune diabetes in adult (LADA) patients with normal ejection fraction and fractional shortening by velocity vector imaging (VVI) . Methods Digital dynamic imaging of 60 normotensive LADA patients and another 60 healthy subjects were collected. The longitudinal velocity, strain, and strain rate were measured in systolic, early and later diastolic period respectively and the peak time of velocity, strain, and strain rate were recorded. The parameters were analyzed. Results Compared with the control group, all of the measured parameters of LADA patients were significantly lower (P ＜ 0. 01), except the later diastolic strain (P ＞ 0. 05) . The peak time of myo-cardial longitudinal velocity, strain and strain rate was lengthened compared with the control group, but without statistical significance (P ＞ 0. 05). Conclusion VVI is a novel and noninvasive tool to quantitatively and objectively assess left ventricular regional systolic and diastolic function in the LADA patients. It can make trustworthy early diagnose of abnormal left ventricle myocardial performance in patients with subclinical LADA.

Objeclive To explore relationship between TCM constitution and primary dysmenorrhea of female students in adolescent age,and to observe clinical effect of treating dysmenorrhea of students whose constitution tends toward Qi-deficiency and Yang-deficiency with wanning meddian therapy.Methods Relationship between TCM constitution and dysmenorrhea was performed in 789 students by questionnaire.Results Students with dysmenorrhea accounted for 50.3%,in which students with mild constitution accounted for 70.2%,and students with constitution tending toward Qi-deficiency and Yang-deficiency accounted for 80%.Conclusion Dysmenorrhea is associated with constitution.Warming meridian therapy can adjust constitution tending toward Qi-deficiency and Yang-deficiency.

Objective To investigate the regional cerebral blood flow perfusion in fetuses with congenital heart disease (CHD)by three-dimensional power Doppler ultrasound (3D PD).Methods The vascular index (VI),flow index (FI)and vascular/flow index (VFI)in the main arterial territories [middle cerebral artery (MCA ),anterior cerebral artery (ACA ) and posterior cerebral artery (PCA )] were prospectively compared in 1 12 fetuses with CHD and 1 12 normal fetuses using 3D PD.Correlations between the 3D PD indices and neurodevelopment scores were assessed.Results Compared with the controls,the VI,FI and VFI of the three main arteries were significantly increased in fetuses with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS)and left sided obstructive lesions (LSOL)(P < 0.001 ).The mean psychomotor development index (PDI)and mental development index (MDI)scores were significantly lower than normal (P <0.001).ACA VI and ACA VFI were positively correlated with PDI (r =0.377,P =0.01 5 and r =0.389,P = 0.012,respectively)but were not correlated with MDI.Conclusions Cerebral blood flow perfusion in three main arteries was significantly increased in fetuses with HLHS/LSOL,and blood flow perfusion in ACA area was significantly increased in fetuses with TGA.ACA-VI,ACA-FI had association with neurodevelopment scores.3D PD ultrasound might help to identify cases of brain vasodilatation earlier and inform parental counseling.
