Objective To evaluate the clinical efficiency of posterior unilateral open-door laminoplasty and leverage titanium plate internal fixation in the treatment of cervical spondylotic myelopathy ( CSM ) with multi-segmental spinal stenosis. Methods Between Mar 2011 and May 2015, 25 patients with multi-segmental CSM with multi-segmental spinal stenosis were treated by posterior unilateral open-door laminoplasty and leverage fixation .There were 16 males and 9 females, whose mean age was 60.6 ±9.9 years during the surgery. The change of clinical symptoms and signs was recorded during follow-up,and they all received X-ray and MRI.In all the patients, the preoperative and postoperative neurological function, the cervical curvature, cervical vertebra tube volume and axial symptoms were measured , recorded and analyzed. There was statistically significant difference (P<0.05) in the mean Japanese Orthopaedic Association (JOA) score, and Visual Analogue Scale ( VAS) .Results All the 25 patients were followed up for more than 6 months ( 6-24 months ) .No symptoms of C5 nerve root were found in our series .According to the JOA score and VSA score ,the neurological functions of each patient were significantly improved .The preoperative JOA score was 10.16 ±1.35 and the improvement rate 61.24%. There was statistically significant difference between the preoperative VSA score and the postoperative one (6.68 ±1.12 vs 2.32 ±0.84) ( P<0.05).The preoperative and postoperative meansurement of the spinal vertebrai canal diameter was (9.22 ±2.01) and (15.64 ±2.08) mm, respectively,so there was statistically significant difference (P <0.05), indicating that the cavical spinal canal was increased after operation .Conclusion Leverage titanium plate internal fixation can effectively help maintain the expanded vertebral canal after unilateral open -door laminoplasty ,reduce the incidence of postoperative axial symptoms , and maintain the cervical physical curvature .

Objective To explore the efficacy of transplantation of a U-shaped ilioinguinal flap in the re pair of skin and soft tissue defects of the extremity. An axial flap based on the superficial iliac circumflex artery and trimmed to a subdermal vascular network flap was used for the procedures. Methods Seven patients with skin and soft tissue defects treated between June,2009 and May,2014 were studied. The patients were 22-45 years of age (mean,32 years),and included 5 males and 2 females.Four patients had punch-press injuries,1 patient had a hot-crush injury, and the remaining 2 patients were injured in the accidents. The wound sizes were 14.0 cm × 10.0 cm to 6.0 cm × 5.0 cm,with a varying extent of exposed tendons and bones.Repairs were performed using free ilioinguinal flaps, which were 15.0 cm × 11.0 cm to 7.0 cm × 5.0 cm in size. The axial flap was trimmed to a U-shaped subdermal vascular network flap and transplanted to the recipient site with anastomosis of blood vessels. Results All transplanted flaps survived.Four patients were followed for 1-6 months, with a mean duration of follow-up of 4 months. The trimmed flaps showed gradual reddening immediately after surgery, and the capillaries were recovered with a flat surface.Re-examination 3 months after surgery showed that the flaps were thin and flexible and met the aesthetic demand. No obvious pigmentation occurred, and the donor site was sutured directly, leaving only linear scars. Conclusion Repair of skin and soft tissue defects of the extremity using a U-shaped trimmed ilioinguinal flap has the advantages of a hidden donor site, small scar, and conformity to aesthetic requirements. The trimmed flaps are preferred over untrimmed flaps in terms of color and texture. The former flap is thinner, meets the aesthetic demand, and achieves a better efficacy.

Objective To investigate the expression profile variation of long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) in ankylosing sporidylitis (AS) and explore the role of lncRNAs in the pathogenesis of AS.Methods The peripheral blood mononuclear cells of AS patients and health controls (HC) were used to detect for differently expressed lncRNAs by microarray. The roles of lncRNAs were predicted with GO and pathway analysis. The results were verified by real time-polymerase chain reaction (PCR).Results A total of 148 lncRNAs and 134 mRNAs were detected, which had more than 2-fold differentially expressed in AS patients.Bioinformatics analysis found that GO term enrichment included protein binding, regulation of transcription, metabolism, signal transduction,et al.and might involve in toll-like receptor pathway, protein kinase, complement pathway, notch signaling pathway and so on.The expressions of three lncRNAs were estimated by real time-PCR which found that consistent with that of microarrays.Among these,D90064 was the most aberrantly expressed lncRNAs.Conclusions Several lncRNAs expression was changed significantly in AS patients in comparison with HC,which implies that those different lncRNAs may have an important role in the development and progression of AS.

Objective:
To investigate the impact of perioperative allogeneic red blood cells transfusion on the early recurrence of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) after liver resection.
Methods:
Retrospective analysis was made on 999 patients who underwent surgical resection for HCC, and these patients were divided into two groups according to whether or not received perioperative allogeneic red blood cells transfusion. Differences between groups were balanced using propensity score matching (PSM). The Kaplan-Meier method was used for comparing the differences in early recurrence (within 2 years) between the two groups and the multivariate COX analysis regression was used to identify independent risk factors for early recurrence.
Result:
There were 100 patients in red cell transfusion group and 899 patients in non-red cell transfusion group. After PSM, 85 pairs of patients were successfully matched, and there was no significant difference in baseline data between groups. Before PSM, the early recurrence rate of the red blood cell group was significantly higher than that of the non-red blood cell group (
