Along with the change of disease spectrum, acupuncture and massage combined with rehabilitation medicine has broad prospects. This article talk about the acupuncture, massage combined with rehabilitation treatment from how to take each advantage and to cooperate with with each other. Through the analysis of the characteristics, advantage the time for intervention, and the combination advantages, to discusses the necessity and advantage of the combination of acupuncture and massage and rehabilitation medicine.

Bilingual teaching is a innovative method of higher education of China to gear the need of the world. Acupuncture and Moxibustion, a higher international TCM course, has been the model of bilingual teaching in many colleges and universities of TCM successively. To meet the aim and original intention of bilingual education in China, we have supplemented international acupuncture and moxibustion in teaching program for many years. The related contents about acupuncture and moxibustion of World Health Organization (WHO) and International Standardization Organization(ISO) have been added into the chapters of introduction, meridians and acupoints, the technology of acupuncture and moxibustion, the therapy of acupuncture and moxibustion. Teaching international acupuncture and moxibustion not only enlarges the international perspective of students, but also makes them more interested in learning Acupuncture and Moxibustion with a bigger sense of mission.

International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2008;30(3):216-217
Objective To observe clinical therapeutic effect of treating insomnia by moxibustioning Balhui (DU20)and Sisbencong(EX-HN 1) . Methods 276 cases of insomnia were divided into treatment group and control group. The treatment group was treated by moxibustioning on Baihui (DU 20) and Sishencong(EX-HN 1); while the control group was treated by moxibutioning on Zusanli (ST 36). Evaluate the therapeutic effects and PSQI index of the two groups. Results Clinical symptoms got improvement in the both groups. The treatment group was better than the control group in terms of therapeutic effect of the (P<0.05) and the improvement of PSQI (P<0.01). Conclusion Moxibustioning on Baihui(DU 20)and Sishencong (EX-HN 1) has a good therapeutic effect for insomnia.

In order to make a report on 90 cases of insomnia treated by the Wei-defensive qi-regulating and brain-strengthening needling technique,as a clinical subject of the multiple center, for assessing the preliminary standardized indications and operating methods and making an initial summary for writing the draft of the technique operation. Methods:By ratio of 1:1,the patients in conformity with the criteria were randomly divided into the experimental group and control group. In the experimental group,45 cases were treated with the Wei-defensive qi-regulating and brain-strengthening needling technique on Baihui (GV 20),Dazhui(GV 14),Shenmai(BL 62),Zhaohai(KI 6),plus ear points. In the control group,45 cases were treated with routine acupuncture on Sishencong(Ex-HN 1),Shenmen (HT 7),Sanyinjiao(SP 6),etc.The therapeutic effects in the two groups were observed and assessed in comparison. Results:The results showed cure in 15 cases.remarkable effect in 27 cases, effect in 42 cases, failure in 6 cases, and the total eriective rate in 94.4% in 90 cases of insomnia. In the three centers, the statistic management was performed based upon PSQI integral and showed significant difference(P<0.01),and no significant difference among various groups(P>0.01).Conclusion:The therapeutic effect in the treatment of insomnia by Wei-defensive qi-regulating and brain-strengthening needling technique is better than the control group and the therapeutic effect and methods in various centers are stable.without any deviation.

Raman spectroscopy, amplified by surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) nanoparticles, can provide an imaging modality due to its high molecular specificity, high sensitivity, and negligible autofluorescence. The basis, composition, and methodologies developed for SERS nanoparticles are herein described. The research hotspots that are the focus in this paper are tumor imaging-guided theranostics and biosensing. The next breakthrough may be the development of biocompatible SERS nanoparticles and spectroscopic devices for clinical applications.
