1.Influence on Pulmonary Function and Immune Function in Children with Capillary Bronchitis byRe-Du-NingInjection Combined with Acupoint Sticking

This study was aimed to observe the influence on immune function in children with capillary bronchitis byRe-Du-Ning(RDN) injection combined with acupoint sticking, in order to explore the clinical application value of RDN injection combined with acupoint sticking. A total of 64 children with capillary bronchitis treated in the Henan Province Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2012 to August 2014 were randomly divided into two groups. In the control group, conventional treatment, including sputum excretion, oxygen therapy, cough-relieving and phlegm-dissolving, anti-inflammation, antifebrile, panting-relieving and atomization inhalation, was used. In the observation group, RDN injection combined with acupoint sticking of Ru-Yi Jin-Huang (RYJH) powder was used on the basis of treatment of the control group. Observations were made on the clinical therapeutic effects as well as the recovery condition of pulmonary function and immune function in both groups. The results showed that the asthmatic suffocating relieving time, asthmatic suffocating, cough, antifebrile, dry rale and wet rale disappearing time, hospitalization days of the observation group were less than those of the control group with significant inter-group difference (t = 4.346, 5.301, 4.445, 2.238, 4.116, 3.733, 3.681,P < 0.05). However, there were no significant differences in both groups (P > 0.05). There were no statistical differences on the pretreatment RR, VT, FRC, VPEF/VE, tPTEF/tE, Reff in both groups (P > 0.05);the posttreatment RR, VT, VPEF/VE, tPTEF/tE were obviously higher than those of the pretreatment; FRC and Reff were obviously decreased compared with those of the pretreatment (P < 0.05). The posttreatment RR, VT, VPEF/VE, tPTEF/tE in the observation group were higher than those of the control group; FRC and Reff were lower than those of the control group with significant difference (P > 0.05). There were no significant differences on the pretreatment T lymphocyte subsets, which included CD3+, CD4+ and CD8+ T lymphocyte (P > 0.05). The posttreatment CD3+ and CD4+ were higher than those of pretreatment; CD8+ was lower than that of pretreatment in both groups with significant difference (P < 0.05). In the observation group, the postreatment CD3+ and CD4+ were higher than those of the control group; CD8+ was lower than that of the control group with significant inter-group difference (P < 0.05). There were no significant differences on IgM, IgG, IgA, IgE and insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) before treatment in both groups (P > 0.05). The posttreatment IgG, IgA, IgM and IGF-1 were higher than those of the pretreatment; IgE was lower than that of the pretreatment with significant difference (P < 0.05). The posttreatment IgG, IgA, IgM and IGF-1 of the observation group were higher than those of the control group;IgE was lower than that of the control group with significant inter-group difference (P < 0.05). It was concluded that on the basis of conventional modern medicine treatment, the RDN injection combined with acupoint sticking can improve the clinical symptoms and pulmonary function, boost immune function in children with capillary bronchitis.
2.Progress of temsirolimus in the treatment of mantle cell lymphoma

Mantal cell lymphoma (MCL) is a rare and special type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma.MCL is classified as an aggressive variety of lymphoma and yet it sometimes behaves as an indolent lymphoma.Although the first-line therapy of MCL is highly effective,but it is incurable through conventional chemotherapy.Patients with MCL have a poor prognosis.This review focus on a new therapeutic approach,mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) inhibitor.Temsirolimus,a derivation of rapamycin,in MCL cell lines inhibited mTOR.Temsirolimus could inhibits tumor cell proliferation through cell cycle arrest and able to down-regulation of cyclin D1 and Ki-67 in lymphomacell.Clinical trials showed that temsirolimus induced patients with MCL response rate and a prolong progression-free survival.In addition,preclinical studies demonstrated the use of a combination of temsirolimus with monoclonal antibodies or conventional chemotherapy to improve the efficacy of single agent use.Altogether,temsirolimus shows promising results in the therapy of patients with heavily MCL,and especially responses in chemotherapy refractory patients,providing a novel approaches to treatment of MCL.
3.Preparation of Oral Vaccine Microspheres for Newcastle Disease Virus

OBJECTIVE:To study the preparation technique for oral vaccine microspheres.METHODS:Newcastle dis-ease virus(NDV)vaccine was used as model drug,and PLGA as carrying agent to prepare NDV-PLGA oral microspheres by W/O/W emulsifying-solvent evaporation technique.Orthogonal design experiment was carried out to determine the influence of NDV volume,PLGA concentration,stirring speed and protectants at inner aqueous phase on the shape,size,adhesion and activity of microspheres.The valence of drug release in microspheres was measured by hemagglutination.RESULTS:The best condition for preparing NDV microspheres was found to be200?l of NDV,4%PLGA,stirring speed at8000r/min,and BSA as protectant.CONCLUSION:The established technique is the optimal choice for preparation of oral vaccine micro-spheres.
4.Transcription and translation of Dickkopf-1 in endometrium of pregnant mice during the peri-implantation period.

To study the expression of Dickkopf-1 (DKK-1) in endometrium of pregnant mice during the peri-implantation period and the role of DKK-1 during the embryo implantation in mice. Immunohistochemical technique was employed to determine the location of DKK-1 protein in endometrium, and semiquantitative reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was utilized to determine the levels of DKK-1 mRNA. Our results showed that the expressions of DKK1 mRNA and protein were higher in experimental groups than in control group (P<0.01) and it increased significantly on day 3 and reached its peak on day 4, and then decreased gradually on day 5-7. The levels of DKK-1 mRNA and protein on day 4 was significantly higher than those of other groups (P<0.01). It is concluded that DKK-1 probably plays an important role in signal transudation of embryo implantation and its high expression indicates the opening of implantation window.

Objective:To investigate the serum endothelial cell specific molecule-1 (ESM-1) level and its clinical significance in patients with hypertensive disorders complicating pregnancy (HDCP).Methods:Three hundred pregnant women with HDCP (HDCP group) and 300 pregnant women undergoing health check-ups (healthy control group) from January to December 2019 in Maternity and Child Health Hospital of Wenling City of Zhejiang Province were selected. In HDCP group, hypertension during pregnancy was in 94 cases, mild preeclampsia was in 131 cases, and severe preeclampsia was in 75 cases. The serum ESM-1, serum uric acid and 24-hour urine protein levels were detected. The incidences of neonatal asphyxia, fetal distress, cesarean section, polyhydramnios, premature rupture of membranes and postpartum hemorrhage in the HDCP group were recorded.Results:The serum ESM-1, serum uric acid and 24-hour urine protein in HDCP group were significantly higher than those in healthy control group: (0.42 ± 0.05) μg/L vs. (0.33 ± 0.04) μg/L, (262.34 ± 23.18) mmol/L vs. (212.37 ± 22.16) mmol/L and (0.36 ± 0.07) g vs. (0.11 ± 0.03) g, and the differences were statistical significant ( P<0.01). The correlation analysis results showed that the serum ESM-1 was positive correlation with serum uric acid and 24-hour urine protein in HDCP pregnant women ( r = 0.497 and 0.512, P<0.01). The serum ESM-1 in pregnant women with mild preeclampsia and severe preeclampsia were significantly higher than that in pregnant women with hypertension during pregnancy: (0.44 ± 0.05) and (0.51 ± 0.06) μg/L vs. (0.38 ± 0.04) μg/L, the serum ESM-1 in pregnant women with severe preeclampsia was significantly higher than that in pregnant women with mild preeclampsia, and the differences were statistical significant ( P<0.05). With the median serum ESM-1 (0.41 μg/L) as the boundary, pregnant women with HDCP were divided into high ESM-1 group (154 cases) and low ESM-1 group (146 cases). The incidences of neonatal asphyxia, fetal distress, cesarean section, polyhydramnios, premature rupture of membranes and postpartum hemorrhage in high ESM-1 group were significantly higher than those in low ESM-1 group: 14.94% (23/154) vs. 6.16% (9/146), 26.62% (41/154) vs. 9.59% (14/146), 46.10% (71/154) vs. 29.45% (43/146), 25.32% (39/154) vs. 3.42% (5/146), 23.38% (36/154) vs. 4.11% (6/146) and 20.13% (31/154) vs. 7.53% (11/146), and the differences were statistical significant ( P<0.01). Conclusions:Serum ESM-1 level is elevated in pregnant women with HDCP . Serum ESM-1 level is closely related to the severity of HDCP and pregnancy outcomes.
8.Analysis of bifid mandibular canal via cone beam computed tomography.

OBJECTIVEThe purpose of this study is to analyze the incidence and the type of the bifid mandibular canal (BMC) by using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) images.
METHODSA total of 216 patients (104 female and 112 male) who underwent CBCT were included in this study. The CBCT images were evaluated for the incidence and the type of the BMC.
RESULTSBMC was observed in 39 (18.06%) of 216 patients and 50 (11.57%) of 432 sides, female 18 (17.31 %) and male 21 (18.75%). BMC were classified into four types: type I 17 sides (3.94%), type II 11 sides (2.55%), type III 20 sides (4.63%), and type IV 2 sides (0.46%).
CONCLUSIONBMC is detected at a high rate by using CBCT. When doctors perform surgical procedures in the mandible, they should pay attention to the anatomical variations of BMC of the mandibular canals.

9.Analysis of biological features and prognostic factors of mantal cell lymphoma

Objective To study the biological features and prognostic factors of mantle ceil lymphoma (MCL).Methods The clinical data of 39 cases of MCL were analyzed prospectively.The fellow-up informations were also studied.Age,sex,B symptoms,Ann-Arbor staging,bone marrow and lympho node biopsies were assessed.Serum lactate dehydrogenates(LDH) and β2-microglobulin (β2-MG) level,Cyclin D1 expression and immunophenotype were investigated.Results The median age of patients was 62 years old (range 43-80).The male-to-female ratio was 5.5:1,a clear predominante of male patients.Thirty-five (89.7 %)cases presented with advanced stage disease (Ann Arbor stage Ⅲ to Ⅳ) at initial diagnosis.CD20 was positive expressed in 39 patients,that all cases expressed B-cell markers.Majority of cases were positive for Cyclin D1 (84.7 %) and CD5 (64.1%).Conclusion MCL is a special type of B-cell originated non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL).The clinical data suggest considerable clinical heterogeneity and it has characteristics of both indolent and aggressive NHL that some patients show a chronic/indolent course,while others have a more fulminant course and short survival.LDH,β2-MG and Cyclin D1 arc the important prognostic factors.

Nimotuzumab,a humanized monoclonal antibody against epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) can combine with extracellular domain of EGFR and inhibit downstream signaling pathways to prevent tumor growth.Clinical researches show that nimotuzumab has significant anti-tumor activity in several solid tumors such as squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck,nasopharyngeal carcinoma,malignant glioma and so on,with advantages of good tolerance and low incidence of rashes.
