Objective To explore the test-retest reliability and correlations of the light-dark box (LDB).MethodsThe behavior of mice in LDB was recorded twice, for five minutes, with a one-week inter-trial interval.Following parameters were evaluated:latency time for the first entry into the dark area (Latence); percentage of time exploring in the light area ( Ltime% ); percentage of squares crossing in the light area ( Lcross% ); total number of squares crossing ( Cross ); percentage of rears in the light area ( Lrear% ); total number of rears (Rear); total score (Total); transitions between two areas (Transition); and number of fecal boli (Fbi). Subsequently, the intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC), the Kappa agreement coefficient (Kappa) and the Pearson correlation coefficient (Pearson) were calculated for these parameters. Results ①ICC for Lrear% ( ICC =0.5207, P<0.01 ) showed a fair reliability. ②Kappa for all parameters indicated a poor reliability. ③Pearson displayed weak negative correlations between Transition and Ltime% ( Pearson = - 0.4030, P < 0.05; Pearson =- 0. 1490, P> 0. 05 ), Lcross% ( Pearson = - 0. 4331, P > 0. 05; Pearson = - 0.1893, P > 0.05 ), Lrear% ( Pearson = - 0. 4485, P < 0. 05; Pearson = 0. 02845, P > 0. 05 ), however, fair positive correlations between Transition and Cross (Pearson =0. 8603, P<0.01; Pearson =0.6341, P<0. 01 ) ,Rear(Pearson =0.4271, P>0. 05;Pearson = 0. 7245, P < 0. 001 ). Conclusion Rear is found to be stable over time, and indicated a fair reliability. There is a weak negative correlation between Transition and Ltime%, Lcross%, Lrear%, but fair positive correlations between Transition and Cross, Rear.

Objective To evaluate effect of intervention on acquired immune deficiency syndrome(AIDS) high-risk sexual behavior of males who have sex with males(MSM)population in Jilin, and to provide a basis for establishing apropriate intervention strategy for this population. Methods A cross-sectional survey was carried out on the MSM population of young students with the method of classification.Comprehensive intervention strategy included health education via new media, behavioral intervention, voluntary conseling and testing, peer education, condom promotion and standardized services for clinic of sexually transmitted diseases(STDs)and other comprehensive interventions. Before and after intervention,300 MSM were enrolled, and their demographic characteristics, knowledge of AIDS prevention and control, high risk behaviors and intervention measures were investigated and analyzed. Results Before and after the intervention, the awareness rate of AIDS related knowledge was 67.67% and 94.33%,respectively,the condom usage rate was 23.57% and 11.79% in the most recent and the last 6 months before the intervention, and it was 76.21% and 62.10 % after the intervention, respectively. The proportion for those who used condom every time in heterosexual sex behavior was increased from 23.53% (before intervention) to 69.60 % (after intervention),and the condom usage rate in the last 6 months was increased from 15.44% to 66.40%.Proportion of the MSM who had STDs related symptoms was decreased from 21.33% to 7.67% after the intervention. Conclusion After the comprehensive intervention, the awareness rate of AIDS related knowledge among MSM in Jilin is significantly increased, the incidence of highrisk sexual behavior is decreased and the condom usage rate is improved.Intervention by use of new media is low-cost,easy to operate, and can be used as a good supplementary strategy for traditional behavioral intervention.
7.Effects of focus intervention mode based on WeChat on self-efficacy and subjective well-being of nurses
Modern Clinical Nursing 2017;16(4):58-62
Objective To explore the role of focus intervention mode in improving the self-efficacy and subjective well-being of newly-contracted nurses. Methods A total of 100 nurses selected as the survey subjects by means of convenient sampling method, were numbered consecutively and divided into observation group and control group by random digit number table. The observation group was intervened with conventional mental consultation and the observation group with the WeChat-based focus intervention mode, which included the use of past-oriented questions and answers for understanding their strength and sources, future-oriented presuppositions and miracle-oriented questions for their thinking of resolutions to future problems. The two groups were compared in terms of general self-efficacy and well-being by the general self-efficacy scale (GSES) and the overall well-being scale (GWB). Results Before intervention , the total scores on GSES and GWB of the observation groups were insignificantly higher than those of the control group (P > 0.05). After intervention, the scores of observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.01). Conclusion The We-Chat-based focus intervention mode can effectively improve the self-efficacy and subjective well-being of newly-contracted nurses.

Chinese Journal of Geriatrics 2010;29(10):796-799
Objective To explore the incidence rate, total incidence numbers and possible impacting factors of non-motor symptoms (NMSs) in Parkinson's disease (PD). Methods The NMS questionnaire (NMS Quest) was used to investigate 131 out-patients diagnosed with PD, and the prevalence of each item, the total NMS numbers and their relationships with clinical features were assessed. Results All of the patients, who were distributed in every stage of PD, had NMSs and each case with 11 items on average. Autonomic symptoms such as nocturia and constipation were the most frequent ones. The patients over 65 versus less than 65 years old had a higher prevalence in a number of items such as olfactory disturbance, dysphagia and constipation. At the same time, the rigidity subtype patients had a higher prevalence in depression items than the tremor subtype ones. The total number of NMS was positively correlated with course of disease, age, UPDRS score and Hoehn & Yahr (H&Y) stage. Conclusions NMSs are common among PD patients. While the prevalence of each item may vary with different clinical features, the total number of NMS is increased with the severity of PD. More attention should be paid to the diagnosis and rational treatment of the NMSs.
