Acta Medicinae Universitatis Scientiae et Technologiae Huazhong 2010;39(1):33-36
Objective To investigate the relation of resistant index and function of transposited ovaries following radical hysterectomy in young women with early stage of cervical cancer. Methods A total of 22 young women(aged from 26 to 40 years old)with early stage of cervical cancer(FIGO Ⅰ a or Ⅱ a)were studied from Aug.1997 to Sep.2004 in the Affiliated Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical Collage.Ovarian transposition was performed at the time of radical hysterectomy and pelvic lymphadenectomy in 12 cases who received postoperative radiotherapy;the rest 10 cases did not receive postoperative radiotherapy.Ovarian function was evaluated by serum FSH,LH,E_2 and B-ultrasonography in all of the cases. Results There was a statistically significant difference between the radiotherapy group and the non-radiotherapy group in serum E_2,FSH,LH levels and RI at the 24th month postoperatively.RI had a negative correlation with E_2 and positive correlation with FSH.Conclusion Ovarian transplantation can preserve the endocrine function of ovary for young women with cervical cancer.RI has a negative correlation with E_2 and positive correlation with FSH.RI is the important index of supervising ovarian function.Postoperative radiotherapy can influence RI and ovarian function.
2.Ionizing radiation activates the HIF-lα-Survivin pathway in human lymphoma cells
Chinese Journal of Radiological Medicine and Protection 2012;32(3):274-277
Objective To determine the levels of radiation-induced expressions of HIF-1α and Survivin in three human lymphoma cell lines with or without HIF-1a specific antagonist or HIF-1a siRNA transfection and to explore the possible mechanism of cell radioresistance. Methods Namalwa,Ramos,Raji cells were irradiated with X-rays with or without the combination of echinomycin (EC),a HIF-1α specific inhibitor,or transfection of HIF-1α siRNA.Then the expression levels of HIF-1α and Survivin proteins and mRNAs were determined by Western blot and real-time PCR,respectively. Results After irradiation, the expression level of HIF-1α protein was up-regulated at 10-20 h followed by up-regulation of survivin protein at 24 h (t =7.53-31.31,P < 0.01 ) in three lymphoma cell lines.Radiation-induced up-expression of survivin protein was significantly reduced by either HIF-1α inhibition or EC treatment (t =7.21-32.81,P <0.01 ).However, radiation failed to induce up-erpression of survivin at both mRNA and protein levels after transfection with HIF-1α siRNA.Conclusion HIF-1α-Survivin pathway is activated in human lymphoma cells after radiation, which might be involved in the cell radioresistance.

5.Anti-NMDAR-encephalitis in children
International Journal of Pediatrics 2013;40(5):481-485
Anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor encephalitis (Anti-NMDAR-encephalitis) in children is a type of autoimmune encephalitis associated with NMDA receptor. Its etiology and clinical manifestations are specific in children. This disease is associated with teratoma more in adult than in children. However, its etiology is more associated with infection and heredity in children. The pathogenesis is that the anti-NMDAR-antibody can combine with NMDAR of neurons selectively and reversibly. The clinical manifestations include psychiatric syndrome, language, motor, sleep and autonomic nervous disorders.Tumor resection and immtmotherapy are chief treatments. This disorder is often misdiagnosed as it is rarely reported in children. It is valuable to make early diagnosis and treatment. This paper reviews the mechanism, clinical features, diagnosis and treatment of antiNMDAR-encephalitis of children.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2009;13(46):9129-9132
BACKGROUND:As an import training method, anaerobic interval training is widely applied. However, systematically studies regarding the effects of this training on free radical metabolism and antioxidant system are few.OBJECTIVE:To study the effects of anaerobic interval training on free radical metabolism in rats.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:A randomized controlled animal experiment was performed at the laboratory of exercise physiology.Xuzhou Normal University from March to May 2008.MATERIALS:A total of 32 male SD rats, weighing 230-270 g,were randomly divided into four groups:sedentary control, interval training control, interval exercise immediate, and interval training immediate, with 8 animals in each group.METHODS:No training was performed in the sedentary control group.Rata in the interval training control and interval training immediate groups were run with speed of 26.8 m/min for 1 minute at the gradient of 10°,then 5 m/min at gradient of 0°,followed by 3 minutes rest, this process was kept for successive 20 times per day,5 days per week, for 6 weeks.Rats in the interval exercise immediate group were fun once at the last day of the 6~(th) week.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Rats were sacdficed under anesthesia after 6 weeks, the super oxide dimutese(SOD),glutathione peroxidase(GPX),catalase(CAT)and malonaldehyde(MDA)contents in skeletal muscle, myocardium and liver were tested.RESULTS:①After 6-week training,SOD activity in each tissues of the training groups were obviously greater than that of the interval exercise immediate group(P<0.05).②Compared to the sedentary control group, the GPX activity in quadriceps femons and myocardium of the interval exercise immediate group was dramatically smaller(P<0.05),but the MDA content was greater (P<0.05),with higher CAT levels in quadnceps femoris and livers(P<0.05).③Compared to the interval exercise immediate group, the GPX activity of the interval training immediate group was notably higher in the quaddceps femofis and myocardium (P<0.05),MDA level was lower, and the CAT levels increased remarkably in quaddceps femoris and myocardium(P<0.05).CONCLUSION:Anaerobic interval training can induce adaptive change of antioxidant enzymes and enhance the ability of cleaning free radical.
10.Stress distribution of rigid fixed bridge in abutments with mandibular 56 deletion A three-dimensional finite element analysis
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2009;13(17):3361-3364
Mandibular teeth and sustentacular tissues extracted from a healthy adult were treated using CT scanning to obtain two-dimensional image, and then a three-dimensional image was established using computer reconstruction technique. Simultaneously, a three-dimensional finite element model of rigid fixed bridge was established in abutments with mandibular 56 deletion. A fixing load of 100 N was vertically and horizontally loaded on the middle site of bridge, and the abutments were grouped according to the proportion of alveolar bone absorption of 5% sub-interval to analyze the effects of 0 50% alveolar bone absorption on stress distribution of rigid fixed bridge. When the alveolar bone absorption was zero or less than 10%, the stress of rigid fixed bridge was evenly distributed on abutments with the vertical load of 4 7 MPa and horizontal load of 6 9 MPa; when the alveolar bone absorption was greater than 10%, the stress of rigid fixed bridge was concentrated on the abutments with the vertical load of 9-16 MPa and horizontal load of 14-23 MPa. This suggested hthat alveolar bone absorption had great effect on stress distribution of rigid fixed bridge in abutments with mandibular 56 deletion, namely a little absorption would cause the changes of stress distribution.
