Objective To investigate the value of ultrasound-guided microcatheter pericardiocentesis in the management of malignant pericardial effusion. Methods A total of 13 patients with malignant pericardial effusion entered the study.Under the guidance of ultrasonography, the pericardial puncture was performed to introduce an epidural catheter(microcatheter).Through the microcatheter, the pericardial fluid was drawn out and chemotherapy drugs were injected into. Results Pericardial puncture and microcatheter implantation was conducted successfully in all the 13 patients. The total drainage volume was 400~780 ml(mean,530 ml).The survival rates at 3,12,and 24 months after the treatment were 92.3%(12/13),77.8%(7/9),and 60%(3/5),respectively.No recurrence of pericardial effusion was found. Conclusions Ultrasound-guided microcatheter pericardiocentesis in the treatment of malignant pericardial effusion is safe, minimally invasive, effective, and feasible.

Objective To study the effects of Danhong mixture on platelet aggregation of rabbits. Methods 40 rabbits were randomly divided into 5 groups,8 rabbits in each group,of blank control group (treated with 0.5% sodium carboxy methyl cellulose of the same volume),Danhong mixture of 5,2.5,1.25 g/kg group, aspirin group (treated with 0.025 g/kg aspirin). Each group was performed gastric lavage according to the ration of lml/kg,once daily, for continuous 8 days.Blood was obtained from heart 1 hour after last administration, then adenosine diphosphate (ADP),collagen, arachidonic acid (AA) were used for platelet aggregation test. Results Inhibition rate of Danhong mixture (5,2.5,1.25 g/kg) on ADP induced rabbit platelet aggregation were 9.4%,5.1%,and 0.6% respectively,on collagen induced platelet aggregation were 34.5%,11.1%,and 5.6%; on AA induced platelet aggregation were 21.4%,11.6%,and 2.3% respectively. Conclusion Danhong mixture had inhibitive action on platelet aggregation.

Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation (LIDH) by CT-guided precise injection around nerve root and in epidural cavity. Methods One hundred and eight patients of LIDH were treated by CT-guided precise injection around nerve root and in epidural cavity, and followed-up after 1, 3 and 6 months. Visual analogue score (VAS) for pain was used to evaluate the efficacy before and after treatment. Results In 108 cases, there were 83 patients (76.9%) with good result whose improvement of VAS was greater than or equal 50% after treatment 1, 3 and 6 months. There were 19 patients (17.6%) with fair result whose improvement of VAS was less than 50% after treatment 1, 3 and 6 months. There were 6 patients (5.6%) with invalid result whose improvement of VAS was unobvious after treatment 1, 3 and 6 months. Conclusion CT-guided therapy of LIDH by precise injection around nerve root and in epidural cavity is safe, accurate, effective, minimally aggressive technique and worth being practiced clinically.

OBJECTIVE:
To assess the association of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 1 (VEGFR1) pathways-related genes and the risk of pre-eclampsia.
METHODS:
In total 178 pregnant women with pre-eclampsia (case group) and 100 healthy pregnant women (control group) during the third trimester were enrolled. The SNPs of VEGF rs3025039, rs2010963 and VEGFR1 rs3812867, rs55875014 and rs722503 loci were determined by PCR-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) assay. The levels of serum VEGF and sVEGFR1 were also determined. And their association with pre-eclampsia was analyzed.
RESULTS:
The systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure and sVEGFR1 of the case group were significantly higher than those of the control group, while the VEGF level was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). Allelic frequencies of the VEGF (rs3025039, rs2010963) and VEGFR1 (rs3812867, rs55875014, rs722503) have fit the Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium (P>0.05). The frequency of T allele of VEGF at rs3025039 locus in the case group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). There were significant differences in VEGF at rs3025039 locus under dominant and co-dominant models in case group (P<0.05). Compared with those with CC, the risk was higher in patients with CT or TT genotypes (P<0.05). The systolic and diastolic blood pressure and sVEGFR1 in pre-eclampsia pregnant women with CT or TT genotypes were significantly higher than those with the CC genotype, while their VEGF level was significantly lower (P<0.05). No significant difference was found in allelic frequencies of other four loci between the two groups (P>0.05).
CONCLUSION
Polymorphisms of rs3025039 locus of VEGF gene is associated with the occurrence of pre-eclampsia. The variant at this locus may affect the activity of VEGF and influence the development of pre-eclampsia.

Objective:To explore the mediating roles of rumination and avoidance coping between information anxiety and suicidal ideation. Methods:In March 2022, a total of 896 college students were surveyed by the information anxiety scale(IAS), ruminative responses scale(RRS), coping style questionnaire(CSQ)and self-rating idea of suicidal ideation scale(SIOSS). The ANOVA analysis, Pearson correlation analysis and mediating effect analysis were performed by the SPSS 22.0 software. Results:The detection rate of suicidal ideation among college students was 9.15%(82/896). The information anxiety score was(73.84±17.29), the rumination score was(47.73±12.16), the avoidance coping score was(3.76±2.52), and the suicidal ideation score was(5.41±4.09). Information anxiety was significantly positively correlated with rumination, avoidance coping and suicidal ideation( r=0.49, 0.36, 0.37, all P<0.05). Rumination was significantly positively correlated with avoidance coping and suicidal ideation( r=0.42, 0.59, both P<0.05). There was a significantly positive correlation between avoidance coping and suicidal ideation( r=0.45, P<0.05). Information anxiety affected suicidal ideation of college students through four paths. The direct effect value of information anxiety on suicidal ideation was 0.06, accounting for 16.67% of the total effect. The effect values of the separate mediating effect of rumination and avoid coping were 0.22 and 0.04, and accounting for 61.11% and 11.11% of the total effect respectively. The chain mediating effect value of rumination and avoid coping was 0.04, accounting for 11.11% of the total effect. Conclusion:Information anxiety can directly affect suicidal ideation of college students and indirectly affect suicidal ideation through rumination and avoidance coping.
