0.05);the cost-effectiveness ratio(C/E)were9.48and9.16respectively.The cost for every one unit increment of effectiveness for gatifloxacin group was11.43yuan more than that of the levofloxacin group.CONCLUSION:Taking everything into consideration, levofloxacin was better than gatifloxacin in the treatment of urinary system infection.

Orthopedic Journal of China 2006;0(23):-
[Objective]To compare the clinical results between allograft and autograft for treatment of scoliosis in the adolescent.[Method]A retrospective study was made in 63 cases of adolescent patients with scoliosis who were operated on with posterior instrumentation from 1996~2006.These patients were divided into two groups. In group A,32 patients aged 10 to 15 years with an average of 12.2 years, had a mean Cobbs angle of 62?(ranged,38? to 113?),were received allograft bone grafting. The patients were followed up for at least 18 months with an average of 26 months.Clinical and radiographic evaluations were performed.[Results]Operating time and blood loss in group A were less than that in group B(P

Chinese Journal of General Surgery 2001;0(07):-
Objective To evaluate the clinical usefulness of 99m Tc MIBI imaging for the diagnosis of breast malignancy. Methods 195 patients with a total of 204 breast lesions were divided into three groups to undergo 99m Tc MIBI imaging and the results were compared with pathology.20 cases with normal breast served as control.Abnormal density showed by 99m Tc MIBI imaging in the breast(10% higher than surrounding structure) was regarded as positive. Results Of 100 breast cancer lesions, positive feature appeared in 92.Twelve out of 70 benign breast lesions showed positive imaging.Six out of 34 breast occult lesions were with positive imaging, among them 3 were finally found with carcinoma. No positive imaging was found in the control group. The diagnostic accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value of 99m Tc MIBI was 92 0%,91 8%,92%,86%, and 92%,respectively.Conclusions[WT5”BZ] 99m Tc MIBI imaging has high sensitivity and accuracy in the diagnosis of breast cancer and in the differentiation between benign and malignant breast lesions.

With the progress of human civilization, the harmonious development of society is gradually realized by different researchers.Medicine,as a science directly serving humans, emphasizes more on humanism than other sciences.Medical research is not only characterized by scientificity and innovativeness, but also by ethicality.More and more biomedical journals are paying attention to issues of ethics. This review discussed the ethical issues in academic medical writing based on the Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals published by International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and the discussions by Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery 2001;0(05):-
Ojective To evaluate the clinical application of ultrasound-guided Mammotome system to the treatment of patients with breast fibroadenoma. Methods The minimally invasive operations for 53 breast fibroadenoma in 43 patients were performed by ultrasound-guided Mammotome system, and the therapeutic efficacy of Mammotome system was evaluated. Results 53 lesions (0.6cm~2.2cm) in 43 patients with breast fibroadenoma were completely excised by the Mammotome system. The average incisions were 17 times and the mean operative time was 31 min. All the operations were successfully accomplished without serious complication. The length of incision was only 3 mm. And no recurrence was found by physical examination and B-ultrasonography in 15 patients(21 lesions) during follow up period for 6~21(13.5?4.0) months. Conclusions Mammotome system is simple and effective technique with minimal invasion for the excision of small breast fibroadenoma.

Objective To investigate the association between a 27-bp variable number of tandem repeat(VNTR) polymorphism of the endothetial nitric-oxide synthase(eNOS)gene and transient ischemic attack(TIA) of brain. Methods Polymerase chain reaction was performed for the genotypes of all patients and control subjects.Data were compared between patients and control subjects using ?~(2)test. Results The genotype ab distribution and allele a frequencies of eNOS gene were significantly higher in TIA group(25.0%,14.3%) than in control group(16.3%,9.2%)(P
