Objective To explore the predicting role of organism weak magnetic field analytic technology on heart functions in individuals with normal electrocardiogram(ECG).MethodsA total of 1534 subjects who receired health examinations and organism weak magnetic field tests in Health Science Center of Chinese PLA General Hospital from May to June 2009 were enrolled.Positive rates of organism weak magnetic field analytic technology, echocardiography, and myocardium enzyme test for heart dysfunction among populations with hypertension, hyperglycemia and hyperlipidemia were compared.Statistical analysis was carried out to detect if there was close correlation between different heart risk and the weak magnetic field index.Results(1)The positive rate of the organism weak magnetic field analytic technology for heart dysfunction among subjects with normal ECG was 96.0%(1472/1534),which was significantly higher than echocardiography(27.5%,200/726)and myocardium enzyme testing(6.9%,106/1532).The positive rate of organism weak magnetic field analytic technology was increased with the seriousness of hypertension ,hypergjycemia and hyperlipidemia(P<0.05=.(2)Different heart risks showed close correlation with heart meridian and potassium(P<0.05=.Conclusion The prediction of organism weak magnetic field analytic technology on potential heart dysfunction(as a result fromhypertension, hylperglycemia and hyporlipidemia)in individuals with normal ECG is highly sensitive andrelatively objective.
4. Effect of Salvia mildorrhiza extracts on formation of morphine physical dependence in mice and its possible mechanism
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2011;42(3):535-537
Objective: To observe the action of Salvia miltiorrhiza extracts (SmE2, liposoluble constituents) on the formation of physical dependence induced by morphine in mice and the effects of SmE2 on the production of cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) and nitric oxide (NO) in brain of morphine-dependent mice. Methods: Morphine-dependent mice model was established by sc injection of morphine at a gradual increasing dosage. The effect of SmE2 on the withdrawal symptoms induced by Naloxone in morphine-dependent mice was observed. cAMP and NO content in brain were determined through radioimmunoassay and nitrate reductase, respectively. Results: SmE2 (80 mg/kg) could remarkably reduce the withdrawal symptoms in morphine-dependent mice. The cAMP concentration in brain showed no obvious change in morphine-dependent mice treated with SmE2, but NO content in brain could significantly be reduced. Conclusion: SmE2 has effect on relieving the withdrawal symptoms in morphine-dependent mice with down-regulation of NO content in brain as possible mechanism.

Chinese Journal of Urology 1994;0(02):-
Objective To study the diagnosis and treatment of ectopic testes. Methods 7 cases of ectopic testes were reviewed and studied. Results 5 cases of ectopic testes were diagnosed and located by physical examination and/or type B ultrasonography before operations whereas the ectopic testes was atrophic in the other two.All the ectopic testes were found successfully during surgical exploration.Orchidopexy was performed for 5 patients, and orchiectomy for the other 2 because of marked atrophy.Postoperative follow up has been 2 months to 8 years. All the patients have normal growth. In the 5 cases with reposited testes no displacement, atrophy or malignant change has been noted. Conclusions The diagnosis of ectopic testes should be mainly depended on physical examination and type B ultrasonography.Surgical exploration should be carried out through the inguinal canal and via the pathway of spermatic cord.

China Oncology 2006;0(08):-
As a distinct T cell subset with acknowledged specific function and marker, CD4+CD25+FOXP3+ regulatory T cells are thought to dampen T-cell immunity and to be the main obstacle tempering antitumor immunotherapy. Accumulating evidence has confirmed an increased pool of regulatory T cells both in the peripheral blood and the tumor microenvironment of cancer patients, which are indicative of disease progression, response to therapy, invasive phenotype and prognosis. Therefore, manipulation of regulatory T cells—including depletion, blocking trafficking into tumors, or reducing their differentiation and suppressive mechanisms—and concomitant stimulation of effector T cells, systemically or locally in tumors, represent new strategies for cancer treatment.

Journal of Practical Radiology 2001;0(06):-
Objective To study the initial and the follow-up manifestations of infants with Langerhans’ cell histiocytosis (LCH) and evaluate the relationship between X-ray manifestations and clinical prognosis. Methods The radiological manifestations were analysed in 22 cases of LCH proved by clinical features, laboratory data, and pathology. According to Lavin’s Grade, the 22 cases were classified as Grade I (9 cases), Grade II (9 cases), and Grade III (4 cases). Plain radiography was performed in all cases during the initial and the follow-up,including cranial bones, chest, long bones, and spine. CT was performed in 12 cases. Results Of the 22 cases, there were 7 cases which lesions were limited to bones. 5 of them were demonstrated with ossification and remodeling of the involved bone after chemotherapy. The remaining 15 cases were associated with multi-systemic involvements, only 4 of which improved after chemotherapy. Among these 15 cases, 7 had lung involvement, only 2 of which had gotten better. Hypothalamus/pituitary axis was affected in 1 case. Conclusion The extension of the bone involvement can reflect LCH clinical prognosis. However, the lung involvement of LCH, which mainly presented with interstitial lesion, is not sensitive for the evaluation of clinical situation.LCH with limited bone destructions have a better prognosis than those with the multi-systemic involvements.

Chinese Journal of Orthopaedics 1996;0(09):-
Objective To investigate the pubertal growth patterns and anthropometric characteristics of the patients with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis(AIS) by anthropometry measurements. Methods The anthropometric data of 256 AIS girls were collected. The mean age of diagnosis was 14.1 years old(from 12 to 16 years old). The children with more than 10 degree of the scoliosis angle at coronal level were diagnozed as AIS. The control group consisted of 462 age-matched health girls. Four variables were measured: height, sitting height, arm span and menstrual states. Height and sitting height were adjusted using Bjure formula to make up the height loss from spinal deformity. The above variables were analyzed between AIS group and the controls. Results There were no differences in the composition of age between two groups. There were no significant differences in height, sitting height and arm span between the 256 cases of AIS girls and the 462 controls. However, the corrected height and sitting height were significantly higher in AIS than those of the controls. The menstrual onset time was earlier in AIS than that in controls. There were no statistical differences in corrected height, corrected sitting height and arm span between AIS girls and the controls at the age group of 12 years old. On the contrary, the AIS girls showed shorter uncorrected height than the controls did at this age. However, the scoliotic girls were found in the corrected height, the corrected sitting height and the arm span significantly taller than the controls between ages of 13 and 15 years. There were significant differences in corrected height and corrected sitting height between AIS girls and the controls at the age of 16 years old, while no difference were found in the variables of height, sitting height and arm span. Conclusion There is an abnormal growth pattern in AIS during pubertal growth spurt, which may be related to the pathogenesis of AIS.

Objective To investigate the impact of hyperthermia on the expression of claudin-1 in focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats and its mechanism in ischemic cerebral injury. Methods A total of 100 male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into 3 groups:sham operation, normothermia and hyperthermia groups. Both the normothermia and hyperthermia groups were redivided into 3 time points:Ischemia (1 hour) and reperfusion for 3,6,and 24 h.A model of middle cerebral artery occlusion was induced by the intraluminal suture method. At 24 h after reperfusion, brain water content was measured by the wet and dry weight method. The volume of cerebral infarction was assessed by 2,3,5 triphenyl tetrazolium chloride staining. At 3,6,and 24 h after reperfusion, the claudin-1 expression in ischemic brain tissue was measured by Western blot and immunohistochemical staining Results At 24 h after reperfusion, the mean neurological function score in the normothermia group was significantly lower than that in the hyperthermia group (2.3 ± 0.48 vs.3.2 ± 0.63; t =3.576,P =0.002).The brain water content on the operated sides in the sham operation, normothermia and hyperthermia groups was 79.31% ± 0.60%,81.13% ± 0.12%,and 84.4% ± 0.55%,respectively.There were significant differences (F=147.115,P=0.000).Western blot analysis showed that at 3,6,and 24 h after reperfusion, the expression levels of claudin-1 in the normothermia and hyperthermia groups were significantly lower than the sham operation group (all P =0.000),and the expression levels of claudin-1 progressively decreased with the extension of ischemia-reperfusion time (all P < 0.05).At the same time point, the expression level of claudin-1 in the hyperthermia group was significantly lower than that in the normothermia group (all P < 0.01).At 3 and 6 h after reperfusion, the positive expression of claudin-1 among the cerebrovascular endothelial cells was observed in the sham operation, normothermia and hyperthermia groups, while at 24 h after reperfusion,no claudin-1 positive cells were observed.Compared to the sham operation group,at 3 h after reperfusion, the numbers of claudin-1 positive cell and claudin-1 IOD/area (integrated optical density/accumulated positive cell area) in the normothermia and hyperthermia groups begin to decrease, they decreased significantly at 6 h and disappeared at 24 h (P=0.000).At 3 and 6 h after reperfusion,claudin-1 IOD/area in the hyperthermia group was significantly lower than that in the normothermia group (all P < 0.01).Conclusions During cerebral ischemia-reperfusion,hyperthermia may aggravate ischemic brain edema and brain injury by down-regulating the expression of claudin-1 in blood-brain barrier.
