1.MEASUREMENT OF LACTOFERRIN IN HUMAN MILK AND NEONATAL FAECES AND EXPLORATION OF RELATION BETWEEN THEM
Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(03):-
The concentrations of lactoferrin (LF) in colostrum during the first 8 days and mature milk during the first 4 months of postpartum were determined by electroimmunodiffusion. Meanwile a sensitive enzyme linked imm-unosorbent assay for measurements of LF in neonatal faeces were established. The results showed that human milk, especially colostrum, was rich in LF. The colostrum contained 6.88 ? 3.10mg/ml (M?SD) aad mature milk 3.18 ? 0.37mg/ml LF. LF in human milk was the highest during the first 3 days of lactation with a decline in concentration as lactation proceeds although a wide variation in concentration was noted among different individuals.LF in neonatal faeces showed significant difference in different feeding manners. LF level in the breast-fed infants was 19 times higher than that in the bottle-fed infants. The LF percentage detected in the former was 100% and the latter only 60%. The dynamic variations of LF in faeces of breast-fed infants during the first day of life were found to be relative to LF level in mother'milk. These data demonstrated the influence of high LF level in mother'milk on the concentrations of LF in breast-fed infants' intestine.Furthermore a few amounts of LF was found in meconium and its percentage detected was 35%. This suggested that the production of endogenous LF began from foetus period, but was limited during the first day of life. LF ingested by the breast-fed infants were not completely destroyed and thus may supplement the insufficiency of the endogenous LF in the newborn infants' intestinal tract.
2.RAM-HPLC vs.FPIA for Determination of Plasma Concentration of Carbamazepine
China Pharmacy 2007;0(29):-
OBJECTIVE:To develop a RAM(Restricted-access media)-HPLC for the determination of plasma concentration of carbamazepine, and to compare the determination results with those determined by FPIA method. METHODS: The plasma samples were centrifugalized, then the venous plasma samples were determined by FPIA and RAM-HPLC,respectively,while the fingertip plasma sample was determined by RAM-HPLC alone. The chromatographic column was Hisep shielded hydrophobic phase analytical column, and the mobile phase consisted of ammonium acetate buffer-acetonitrile (88∶12) at a flow rate of 1.5 mL?min-1. The detective wavelength was set at 280 nm;the sample size was 20 ?L and the column temperature was kept at room temperature. RESULTS: A good correlation was noted between the carbamazepine concentration in venous plasma sample determined by FPIA and carbamazepine concentrations in either venous or fingertip plasma determined by RAM-HPLC,with the correlation coefficients being 0.989 and 0.995,respectively,but the differences were significant(P0.05). CONCLUSION: Both RAM-HPLC and FPIA are applicable for the determination of carbamazepine concentration, but FPIA is more suitable for routine monitoring while RAM-HPLC is more suitable for the related research and monitoring of specific cases. Both methods shows good reproducibility and in which the samples don't have to be pretreated.
4.Application of MRI in the diagnosis of fetal malformations
International Journal of Pediatrics 2010;37(1):92-95
Magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) has multi-faceted advantages due to its non-ionization radiation, excellent tissue contrast, high spatial resolution and multi-dimensional imaging technique. It can clearly observe the pathological changes of deseases, and judge for the prognosis. With the development of MRI, MRI has become increasingly popular in the diagnosis of fetal malformation. In this paper, it is described the value of MRd in the diagnosis, management and prognosis of fetuses malformations, via the central nervous system, circulatory system, respiratory system, digestive system, genitourinary system, musculoskeletal system, endocrine system, and so on.

6.Safe margin of breast conserving surgery for breast cancer
Journal of International Oncology 2016;43(6):458-461
Breast conserving surgery has become the first choice for the treatment of early breast cancer. However, the safety margin is still one of the important issues for surgeons in the implementation of breast conserving surgery.Because variety of clinical factors have some effects on the safety margin,at present,no consensus on safe margin of breast conserving surgery is reached, and the controversy still goes on.
7.Analysis of Keshan disease surveillance results from 2009 to 2012 in Qujing City of Yunnan Province
Chinese Journal of Endemiology 2016;35(8):586-588
Objectives To grasp the situation and fluctuation tendency of Keshan disease in Qujing City, and to scientifically evaluate the control effect of Keshan disease. To provide scientific basis for elimination of Keshan disease in the 12th Five-Year Plan. Methods Cardiomyopathy cases of the past three years were searched, screening suspected cases of Keshan disease. And according to the National Surveillance Program of Keshan Disease (Trial),In Qujing City,2 Keshan disease counties (Huize,Qilin) were selected to carried out focused monitoring,1-2 endemic townships with more patients were selected based on total numbers of cases in each county,1 village with more patients was selected in each township as a monitoring site, the residents of the monitoring sites were examined clinically and electrocardiographic (ECG) tracings recorded and suspicious patients were taken chest radiograph and color Doppler ultrasound echocardiography.Diagnosis was based on the Diagnostic Standard for Keshan Disease. Results Totally 300 cases of cardiomyopathy were found,10 cases were suspected Keshan disease,0 cases of Keshan disease was diagnosed in 2009-2012.In the three villages of the two counties monitored,3 cases of potential Keshan disease were detected of the 1 505 villagers, the detection rate was 0.20%;62 abnormal ECG were found, the abnormal rate was 4.12%.Chest X-ray examination was done in 3 people, cardiothoracic ratio of 0.50 or less were 2 people, and 0.51-0.55 was 1 person. Conclusion The prevalence of Keshan disease in Qujing City is low,but the pathogenesis of Keshan disease remains, therefore, monitoring and intervention of children Keshan disease should be strengthened.
8.Progress of artificial ureter
International Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2006;0(01):-
Artificial ureter has been studied for nearly 60 years, however it is still in experimental stage. So far there are no commercially available products for clinical use except autologous intestines loop even though many progresses have been made. Each approach for making artificial ureter has its own inherent advantages, disadvantages and limitations. But some approaches have shown great potential to be used as ureteral substitutes. Preventing the conduit from salt depositing and ensuring a watertight anastomoses with native tissues are the key factors in designing and manufacturing the prosthetic ureter. Along with scientific and technical improvement, artificial ureter will be successfully used in clinical therapeuticsin in the very near future.
9.The study of early enteral nutrition with different routes after double incisions for the therapy of esophageal cancer
Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition 1997;0(02):-
Objective:To compare the feasibility, complications and advantages of the nose-intestine tube and the jejunostic tube in early enteral nutrition after double incisions for the therapy of esophageal cancer. Methods: 52 postoprative patients were divided into three groups. The nose-intestine tube group(A group,n =16) and the jejunostic tube group(B group,n = 21) received the enteral nutrition(Nutrison Fibre) and the conrtrol group(C group,n = 15) received intravenous isotonic glucose solution and oral liquid diet after the bowel movement recovery. The blood glucose, the function of liver and kidney, electrolytes and nutritional status were observed. The recovery of bowel movement and other digestive symptoms such as abdominal pain, distention, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting were observed during the period of study. Some complications such as acute intestinal obstruction, pnumonia and rhinolaryngitis were observed during the period of study. Results: The time for placing the jejunostic tube was faster than that for placing the nose-intestine tube(P
