Chinese Journal of Schistosomiasis Control 2010;22(2):187-188
Objective To discuss the activity of Toxoplasma gondii and its impact on fetus during pregnancy. Methods Sixty -eight pregnant women whose IgG was positive and IgM was negative for anti - Toxoplasma gondii antibodies were chosen.Their serum and umbilical blood were tested for IgG,IgM,CAg (by ELISA) and DNA (by PCR) of Toxoplasma gondii. The infections of placental samples were tested by the direct smear, homogenate smear and PCR.Results There were 28 positive cases of Toxoplasma gondii IgG antibodies in cord blood, and the vertical transmission rate of IgG in placenta was 41.2%.There were 6 positive cases of Toxoplasma gondii DNA in cord blood, and the incidence of intrauterine infection was 8.8%.There were 9 positive cases of Toxoplasma gondii DNA in placental tissues, and the incidence of intrauterine infection was 13.2%.Conclusions Past Toxoplasma gondii infection during pregnancy may lead to vertical transmission between the mother and infant.
3.Analysis of procalcitonin,C-reactive protein concentration and WBC count in patients infected by different bacteria
International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2014;(17):2301-2302
Objective To investigate the concentration of procalcitonin,C-reactive protein and WBC count for patients with dif-ferent kind of bacterial infection. Methods 49 blood samples and 81 other samples were collected form different patients for bacteri-al culture.Meanwhile,procalcitonin,C-reactive protein concentration and WBC count of those patients were determined to find whether these indicators exhibited any difference between Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria infected patients. Results For bloodstream infection,PCT levels in patients with Gram-nagetive bacterial infection were obviously higher than those with Gram-positive infection(P <0.05 ).For other infection, there was no statistical difference among patients′PCT,CRP concentration and WBC count(P >0.05).Conclusion PCT concentration is valuable in the differential diagnosis of blood stream infection caused by Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, but not in local infection infection.
4.Retinal Mosaics Related to Eye Development and Formation
Progress in Biochemistry and Biophysics 2001;28(2):137-139
Different types of neurons are regularly dispersed on re tina. For finding the mechanism of eye and retina formation, it is important to know how t his regular pattern is formed during embryonic stage. It was claimed that multip le genes regulate the development of eye and retina. These genes regulate the de velopment of tissues and differentiation of cells in different parts of the visu al system during embryo development. Also, it was found that different tissues a nd differentiated cells cohere with each other both temporally and spatially to form the eye.
5.Advances in Physical Activity among Patients post Operation for Breast Cancer (review)
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2017;23(9):1021-1026
Physical activity is closely related to the quality of life of postoperative patients with breast cancer, which is expressed in fre-quency, duration, intensity, and others factors. There is no uniform measurement of physical activity, the common measurements may be classified as subjective and objective, such as exercise log, physical activity questionnaire and self-reported physical activities of the former;doubly labeled water, indirect calorimetry, motion sensors and heart rate monitors of the latter. The age, educational level, social and eco-nomic status, and body mass index are related to the level of physical activity in patients post operation for breast cancer, while illness and treatment, psychological and social support, and health-related quality of life also affect the level of physical activity, which suggest that such patients need to improve their physical activity before operation.
6.Clearing Effect of Qingre Huashi Yiqi Huoxue Formulae on H.pylori and Its Influence on Gastric Mucosa Inflammation
Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 1993;0(04):-
Objective To study the mechanism of Qingre Huashi Yiqi Huoxue Formulae (Formulae for clearing heat, dissolving damp, reinforcing qi and activating blood) for H.pylori associated gastric diseases. Methods The 70 C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into 7 groups with 10 in each:normal group, model group,Chinese medicine high, medium and low dosage groups, western medicine group, and the combination of Chinese and western medicine group. Ampicillin combined with H.pylori gavage was adopted to produce H.pylori infected models. Four weeks later, all the groups were given correspondent treatment. The morphological and pathological changes of the gastric mucosa and the colonization of H.pylori in the gastric mucosa were observed after 2 weeks. ResultsThe Chinese medicine high and medium dosage groups and the combination of Chinese and western medicine group had a better effect in clearing H.pylori (P0.05). The Chinese medicine high and medium dosage groups, western medicine group, and the combination of Chinese and western medicine group had a significant morphological changes (P
7.Research progress of correlation between NF-?B and CPB
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(11):-
Nuclear factor kappa B(NF-?B) is an important transcription factor in the expression of many inflammatory media. With the recent progress of molecular biological technique, the modulated mechanism of NF-?B in immunity, stress, inflammatory responses, and the differentiation and growth of lymphocyte has been the focus. This review presents the role of NF-?B in ischemia-reperfusion and cardiopulmonary bypass, and the research progression of intervention therapy in inhibition of the activation of NF-?B is also introduced herein after.

Chinese Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery 2003;0(02):-
Objective: To seek the direct evidence of myocardial inflammatory activation in a cohort of patient undergoing surgery on cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB). Methods: Twenty patients undergoing surgery on CPB had plasma samples obtained for tumor necrosis factor-? (TNF-?), perioperatively. Myocardial tissue samples were obtained intraoperatively, both pre-and post-CPB. Myocardial nuclear factor ?B (NF-?B) nuclear translocation and plasma TNF-? concentrations were analyzed by standard enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Cross clamp times, CPB times and the time to extubation were recorded. The change of myocardial NF-?B nuclear translocation and plasma TNF-? concentrations was assessed by analysis of variance (ANOVA). The regression analysis was utilized to define the correlations among the optical densities of NF-?B, concentrations of plasma TNF-?, influencing factors and heart function. Results: (1) Seventeen patients had NF-?B nuclear translocation before initiation of CPB, the optical density (OD) of myocardial NF-?B was significantly increased at the end of CPB in nineteen patients. (2) The correlation between the activity of NF-?B and concentration of TNF-? was signi ficant. (3) The correlation between the activity of NF-?B and clinic outcomes and other influencing factors was not significant. Conclusion: Myocardial inflammatory activation may be present in the patients before CPB. CPB could increase the activity of myocardial NF-?B.
