1.Noninvasive Positive Pressure Ventilation for Stable Patients with Advanced Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (review)
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2013;19(9):853-855
The addition of long-term noninvasive positive pressure ventilation (NPPV) to a pulmonary rehabilitation (PR) program in stable patients with advanced chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) can enhance the effects of PR, continuely improve exercise tolerance and dyspnea, stabilize pulmonary function, enhance health-related quality of life. Moreover, it maybe improve the prognosis of the patients with COPD. This article introduced the implement of the combination of PR and NPPV in stable patients with advanced COPD.
2.Possible etiologies of cryptogenic stroke in young adults
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2016;24(7):647-650
Cerebrovascular disease is currently one of the major diseases that result in the deaths of human. Its incidence elevates year by year, and there is a trend of younger.Stroke in young adult accounts for 25% ~ 33% in all stroke patients.Once a young man has a stroke, his quality of life will drop dramatically, and it will also bring a heavy burden to the family and society. Therefore, the etiologies of stroke in young adults should be summarized in order to achieve early diagnosis and early treatment. It is very important for improving of their prognoses.Cryptogenic stroke accounts for about 30% in all strokes. The possible etiologies of cryptogenic stroke in young adults include heart diseases, arthritis, artery dissection, obstructive sleep apnea syndrome, and drug abuse, etc.
3.Polymorph transformation of solid drugs.
Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2015;50(5):521-7
For the minimized phase transtorming risk, the most stable polymorph is generally considered as the desirable solid form for pharmaceutical applications. However, occasionally, the stable form may have some shortcomings such as low solubility, dissolution rate and bioavailability, etc. In that case, the metastable form which is kinetically stable at room or lower temperature could be selected. Using metastable form may result in polymorph transformation in pharmaceutical manufacture and storage. Hence, the knowledge of the transformation between solid forms is essential to the development of the drug materials. In this paper, we will review the recent studies in the area of crystal conversion of polymorphs and hydrates, to illustrate some cases to introduce the types, conditions and mechanisms of the crystalline solid transformation.
4.Effects of postoperative patient-controlled epidural analgesia on plasma neuropeptide Y
Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 1996;0(08):-
Objective To observe the effects of postoperative patient controlled epidural analgesia(PCEA) on plasma neuropeptide Y(NPY) Methods Fifty eight patients scheduled for thoracic surgery, were randomly divided into PCEA group(n=28) and control group(n=30) After operation, patient controlled epidural analgesia was applied in PCEA group and in control group pethidine I M was given intermittently The plasma NPY and serum cortisol concentrations were measured at pre anesthesia, the end of operation, and 24h and 48h after operation by radioimmunossay Results Compared with the baselines, plasma NPY and serum cortisol levels increased significantly at the end of operation in both groups ,without the obvious differences between both groups The plasma NPY level restored to the baseline in PCEA group 24h after operation, and in control group was significantly higher 24h after operation than the besaline and restored to the besaline 48h after operation The serum cortisol level was kept higher level 24h after operation and restored to the baseline 48h after operation in PCEA group, and in control group increased significantly 24h and 48h after operation as compared with the baseline The plasma NPY level 24h after operation and serum cortisol level 24h and 48h after operation were lower markedly in PCEA group than those in control group Conclusions The PCEA can effectively depress the increase of plasma NPY and serum cortisol induced by postoperative pain in patients undergoing thoracic surgery
5.Determination of Adenosine in Chongcaoqizhi Granule by HPLC
Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2006;0(04):-
Objective To develop a RP-HPLC method to determine adenosine in Chongcaoqizhi granule. Method The separation was performed in a Kromasil ODS-1 column (250 mm?4.6 mm, 5 ?m) with a mobile phase of phosphate buffer solution (pH 6.5) - methanol (85∶15). The flow was 0.7 mL/min and the detective wavelength was set at 260 nm. Results The standard adenosine showed a good linear correlation at range of 1.016~12.192 ?g/mL. The linear regression equation and correlation coefficient (r) were Y =169339X -82318, r =0.9990, respectively. The average recovery of the loading was 98.02% and the RSD was 1.72%. The average content of adenosine was 12.45 ?g/g. Conclusion This method is accurate, reproducible and highly selective, and can be used for quality control of Chongcaoqizhi granule.
6.Researches on Reliability and Validity of some Mental Health Measures for the Elderly Peaple.
Jinrong MEI ; Qi YI ;
Chinese Journal of Clinical Psychology 1993;0(01):-
The purpose of this study was to ascertain the usefullness of four mental health measures in their application to Chinese elderly subjects. These measures which included CES—D, GHQ—30, LSI, and MST were adapted to assess general symptoms of depression and minor psychiatic disorder, life satisfaction, and mental state of the elderly people. Results of these findings indicated that split—half and test—retest reliabilities of these measures were highly satisfactory. With respect to validity, test performace of a group of psychiatric patients (N=31) and normal elderly subjects (N=30) were found to be significantly differencetiated. Furthermore, the pattern of scores obtained by the psychiatric patients also matched well with the clinical diagnosis made by a consultant. Normative data in an old—old sample (N=554) revealed mild to moderate correlations between measures, reflecting favourably on their convergent validity. Significant sex differences were found, which necessitated the establishment of separate norms for males and females subjects.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2012;18(4):386-388
Objective To observe the effect of Wheelchair Taijiquan on mental health of patient with spinal cord injury. Methods One42-year-old male patient with spinal cord injury practiced wheelchair Taijiquan, 90 min everytime, 3 times a week for 10 weeks. SCL-90was used to assess the relevant indicators before and 10 weeks after the experiment. Results 10 weeks after Wheelchair Taijiquan exercises, the patient improved in sleep quality, appetite and physical health, and the symptoms as antagonism, paranoid, psychosis and obsessive-compulsivedisorder as well as intervening with interpersonal sensitivity, depression, anxiety and fear. Conclusion Wheelchair Taijiquan mayfacilliate to improve the mental health of patient with spinal cord injury.
