Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2015;14(4):404-407
Two-way choice is the main way for the seven-year-program clinical medical students and postgraduate supervisors. This article analyzes the influence factors and shortages of two-way choice for postgraduate supervisors and seven-year-program clinical medical students. This investigation discovers that the supervisor's abilities of research, teaching and clinical and their personal magnetism are important and key factors. The students' gender, character, hobbies and interests and the familiarity to profession are the secondary factors. The other factors that include employment status, the level of income and the advice of parents and friends also have influence on two-way choice for postgraduate supervisors and seven-year-program clinical medical students. In order to further improve the tow-way choice, the author gives some suggestions, including introducing profession and the scientific researches of supervisors in advance, encouraging the face-to-face communication between students and supervisors, promoting multiple profession choices and giving some aids to the students for choosing the supervisors.

Objective To explore Chinese character semantic processing feature and the relationship with behavioral problems in early childhood with ADHD.Methods Twenty ADHD children and twenty normal children (7-8 years old) performed a Chinese character semantic judgment task through event related potential (ERP),meanwhile Conners parent rating scale (PSQ) was completed by parents to analyze behavior problems in children. The relationship between behavioral problems and ERPs was analyzed. Results (1) ADHD group showed smaller amplitudes of P200 compared to the normal group (related (6.6±4.8) μV vs (11.6±6.4) μV;unrelated (6.7±3.7) μN vs (10.8±5.0) μV),and longer latency (related(240±30) ms vs (198±17)ms;the unrelated (232±26)ms vs (194±16)ms;psudoword (233±26)ms vs (197±15)ms),all P<0.05).The amplitudes of N400 wave only showed a decreasing trend in ADHD group(P>0.05),while the latency of N400 was significantly longer than that in normal children in three conditions(P<0.05).(2) Four subscale scores of CPSQ(conduct problem, learning problem,hyperactivity-impulsion and hyperactivity index) were significantly higher in ADHD children compared with normal group.(3)The amplitudes of P200 in related condition had negative correlation with the scores of CPSQ subscale (conduct problem, psychoso matic disorder,hyperactivity-impulsion and hyperactivity index) (r=-0.51,-0.47,-0.45,-0.46,all P<0.05.The latency of P200 in related condition had positive correlation with psychosomatic disorder scores (r =0.54,P=0.01).Conclusion Early semantic recognition disorder exists in 7~ 8 years old ADHD children.P200 can be used as an objective index to evaluate early childhood ADHD's language cognition, and P200 is related to behavior problems (such as conduct problem, impulsions).

A strain Actinobacillus succinogenes CGMCC 1593 was selected as the parent strain. After UV-EMS and UV-DES treatments respectively, seven mutated strains with subtle improvements in acid tol-erance were obtained, and were subjected for recursive protoplast fusion.Through three rounds of genome shuffling, four shuffled strains with both higher yield and acid tolerance were obtained. The shuffled strain namely F3-21 could even survive at pH 5.2.The comparison of the shuffled strains and the parent strain for succinic acid production was also studied here. After 48 h of shake-flask fermentation, the succinic acid concentration of F3-21 was 48% higher than that of the parent strain. When F3-21 was carried out in a 5 liter stirred bioreactor with pH controlled 5.6~6.0,the accumulation of succinic acid in 48 h fermentation attained 38.1 g/L,which was increased by 45% compared with that of the parent strain(26.2 g/L).While pH was controlled at 6.5~7.0,the production of succinic acid in 32 h fermentation attained 40.7 g/L.When F3-21 was carried out in fed-batch fermentation, succinic acid concentration of 67.4 g/L was reached in 72 h fer-mentation.These results indicated that the genome shuffling could improve the acid tolerance and the suc-cinic acid production of A.succinogenes CGMCC 1593.

Objective To investigate the cognitive dificiency characteristics and the neuro electrophysiological mechanism of sleep disordered breathing(SDB) in school-age children.Methods20 cases of SDB children and 20 cases of normal group at 6-8 years old participated in the continue performance test(CPT-AX).The amplitude and latency of N2,P3 of event related potentials(ERPs) were measured and analysed at Fz leads, and the behavioral results were recorded at the same time.ResultsThere were no significant differences between SDB group and normal group in behavioral correct number (36.10±4.69 vs 35.05±3.49),the reaction time ((523.77±68.73)ms vs (496.59±78.65)ms) and false alarm number (1.0 (0.25,3.75) vs 0.5 (0.00,3.00))(all P>0.05).The SDB group showed significant increase in Go-P3 amplitudes compared with the normal group((10.25±6.46)μV vs (6.56±4.63)μV,P<0.05).The Go-P3 latency in SDB group was significantly prolonged than that in the normal group((438.80±59.72)ms vs (406±36.30)ms,P<0.05),and the Nogo-N2 amplitude in SDB group significantly decreased compared with the normal group ((-12.46±4.75)μV vs (-15.50±3.82)μV,P<0.05).ConclusionThe children aged 6 to 8 years old with sleep disordered breathing consume more resources and time to complete the attention process, like a compensatory response. And during the monitoring process there is a resource shortage that results in obvious defect in process of inhibition.

To synthesize aristolochic acid (AA)-2'-deoxyguanosine 5'-monophosphate (dGp) adducts in vitro and develop a novel method for the characterization of the adducts using multiple mass spectrometric techniques. AA was incubated with dGp in vitro using either enzymatic activation (by xanthine oxidase) or chemical activation (by zinc) to synthesize AA-dGp adducts, and the reaction conditions were optimized. Crude extracts were analyzed by techniques of liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization/tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) and high accuracy mass data and isotope pattern of super high resolution Fourier transform-ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry (FT-ICRMS). The quasi-molecular ion peaks of the AA-dGp adducts were obtained in the negative ion mode. Analysis by electrospray ionization/tandem mass spectrometry (ESI-MS/MS) provided useful structural information about AA-dGp adducts. AA can bind covalently to the exocyclic amino group of deoxyguanosine to form AA-dGp adducts. MS analysis is a powerful tool to detect and identify AA-dGp adducts simply, rapidly and accurately.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2008;33(7):793-797
OBJECTIVETo study whether aristololactam I (AL-I) can enter renal proximal tubular epithelial cells and the situation of intracellular distribution and accumulation.
METHODCultured human renal proximal tubular epithelial cell line (HK-2) was used as the subject. Intracellular fluorescence from AL-I and its distribution are examined by fluorescence microscopy after a treatment with different concentration of AL-I, the intracellular accumulation of AL-I was also investigated by incubated cells in AL-I -free medium for 48 h after washing-out the media containing AL-I.
RESULTAfter treatment of AL-I (concentration from 5 microg x mL(-1) to 20 microg x mL(-1)), glaucous fluorescence could be observed inside renal proximal tubular epithelial cells at 0.5 h, and the fluorescence distributed only in cytoplasm while not be observed in nuclei. Moreover, the fluorescence of AL-I could be kept in cytoplasm for more than 48 h after washing out the media containing AL-I .
CONCLUSIONAL-I is able to enter renal proximal tubular epithelial cells in short time and accumulate in cytoplasm, but not enter nuclei. This property may contribute to the cytotoxic mechanism of renal injury induced by AL-I, which may partially explain the persistent renal toxicity of AAs and its metabolites in the development of aristolochic acid nephropathy.
